Now...that was something else she had never encountered before. She had to, not literally, beat her zanpakuto into submission and it wasn't easy for her to draw her hidden powers out. Maybe it was about time to be nice to her zanpakuto. Laughter erupted inside of her, as her zanpakuto spirit laughed at the foolishness of that idea. Shizuka grimaced. Maybe that wasn't the best thing to do since it might show weakness.
“Well, you shouldn't have beat yourself up for what happened. It wasn't your fault,” she replied.

 Lucid came from the kitchen waiting for the tea to be done. He heard what Shizuka said and didnt't respond. He felt that he didn't need to. He didn't know why he told her so much but it didn't bother him. Lets talk about you now miss.Lucid turned and looked at her waiting tom see the expression on her face. He thought she might be shocked at what he said and might not wanna talk about herself so quickly to a guy she just met and didn't know that he was a captain.

Shizuka wondered why. Maybe he was still beating himself up. Anyway, it would be rude to keep on prying. She had already been told so much, much more than he would have most likely have ever told anyone. As he spoke, a surprised look appeared on her face. Her? She didn't mind but that was a rather sudden and unexpected request. She did owe it to him, though, since she had asked about him.
"Well, what would you like to know?" she asked.

Lucid went back into the Kitchen to retrieve his tea. He poured it into one cup for himself. He didn't think Shizuka wanted anymore tea. If she did they was plenty enough that she could have her own. Lucid drunk some of his tea in the kitchen. He let the just made tea run down his body warming him up as it made its journey to his stomach.He came back in the room and looked at Shizkua. He thought she was a interesting women. More interesting than most women he has seen in his life so far. Other girls only annoyed him with there lack of appreciation for the finer things in life. Lucid got the feeling that Shizkua wasn't like that at all. As interesting as Shizkua was,lucid couldn't think of a thing to ask her. He already learned somethings about her already just from talking to her. She had a good heart and was a good listener. She did seem like a quiet person. He knew she had the power to control the emotions of others. Which if he had to fight against her someday could be pretty interesting s=to she how she would try to use that power against him. Lucid took a few more sips of his tea before he opened his mouth band allowed the question that he formulated in his head come out to be heard. Shizkua Ive learned that other people in the Soul Society have a goal they want to achieve before they die. A goal that takes years in the making to achieve. What is you goal?Lucid was curious on what her goal could be. He wasn't extremely curious but it was a question that could lead to a very interesting conversation between the two.

To be blunt, the suspense was killing her. Nobody had really ever wanted to know too much about her, except for the fact that she was a Captain. Inside, she was wondering what he was going to ask. Her past? Nah, they had just discussed his, so maybe not. He had gone back into the kitchen and she was left slightly anxious about what was going to be asked. Most likely he was getting some tea. At the moment, she couldn’t feel as if she could really drink anything. As he came back in, he sipped his tea for a little longer, before asking a question. As she heard his question, she frowned slightly. What was her goal in life? She didn’t really know, to tell the truth. There was one…but that was sincerely impossible. But then again, she better be truthful, as he was pretty truthful with her and it would be rude not to
“I want peace, really, nothing else. Maybe that’s too hard, but since I know peace for the entire Shuman world cannot last forever, I just want to do my bit in Soul Society, patching up relations between Rukongai and Sereitei…” she replied.

Lucid sipped on his tea for a few minutes longer. Achieving peace isn't such a hard task. Actually...i say that again... achieving peace is hard depending what road you take. Some ways of gaining peace can lead to a large wide spread panic and can cause harm to others before the peace can arrive. Going about it that way is a hard and dark road. But i can understand why people take roads like that. They usually never have a choice or rather they are to stupid to look at the other choices they have.
Peace should,in my eyes, be achieved by compromise between people. I rather not kill another person or a group of people to gain peace. If only people could see the same way i see things,peace would be here in our grasps as we speak. But sadly, there is to much hatred in my heart right now to even think about achieving peace. Until every hollow is dead. Lucid eyes began to slowy turn a dark red and his voice gained a lower tone to it and it seemed like another was talking for him And they will pay for what they did to my family. Hollows are scum and anyone that tries to harm another will feel the end of my blade cut right through there feeble bodies. right now,that is all i care about. Lucid snapped back into reality and gave Shizkua a smile that was meant to show how sorry he was for what happened. Dont be shocked or sacred about what happened. I get that way sometimes. You see,since ive held in most of my anger about the hollows deep inside me after talking to my Zanpactou that day, My anger for them has gotten stronger and stronger to the point where it has turns me into a different person when i think about them. I can control it but just a second ago, i let it slip. im sorry for what i said. Please do not think anything of it. Lucid stood up and bowed in respect hoping Shizuka would still speak to him.

She could understand it very well, the feeling of anger that slipped through people’s calm façades. It was something she had experienced way too many times when she drew out her Shikai. Anger was one of the emotions that she attempted not to influence people with, since they were usually irrational, rash and in a state of absolute insanity. While their minds and movements would be easier to deal with, anger was an emotion that was ugly and hard to control later. Although she was quite used the different random things that happened sometimes, she flinched slightly as Lucid’s tone changed. He seemed to be speaking in a lower tone and as she glanced at him, his eyes were turning red. She was slightly worried and was panicking at the same moment. Would she have to figure out a way to calm him down? As he said something about cutting the Hollows right through their feeble bodies, she recoiled slightly. Being a Captain that usually dealt with diplomatic things, it still freaked her out a little to hear people talk of that sort of violence. She had better get used to it though…soon. As he bowed to her, she became slightly flustered. It was weird to have somebody of the same rank bow to you.
“Don’t worry about it. Anger can overwhelm people, there’s really not much you can about it sometimes. What was your family like?” she asked, wondering a little bit.

Lucid triess to drink some tea but realizes that he drunk all the tea that was in his cup. He smiled and made little laugh. Lucid remembers about his family. He remembered how they use to play with his mom and dad out in the yard were he had a swing and a pound full of different fish. His dad use to push him as hard as he could on his swing so he Lucid could go higher and higher so that he could feel like he was touching the sky. Lucid always helped his mom prepare for dinner,even though she had maids helping her. Lucid studied hard most of the day so he could become as smart as his dad was. Lucid's life back then was great. He had tones of friends. None close enough that he could remember. My family was kind hearted and respectful to all the people they were surrounded by. i Love them alot. To bad that they never saw me smile befroe they were killed. Lucid never smiled as a kid. Even if he was happy he never showed it. His friends tried to make him smile but there attempts failed horribly. He did like it that they carried enough about him to try. His mom use to smile at him alot. Lucid always thought that was her way of getting him to try and smile. His mother smile made everyone feel all warm inside. This was the power she possessed. Lucid's father loved him but never tried to make him smile. He probably always knew that Lucid was smiling in the inside.

He seemed lost in memories. He laughed a little bit and smiled. He seemed to be totally transformed as he seemingly reminisced about a past. It must have been a whole lot of nice memories, judging by the expression on his face. To tell the truth, it was amazing how both the good and bad memories could change people for the better or the worse. Some people, when bad things happened, would blame the world while others would just take it and not complain. There was always some element of choice in what people did. As he spoke, she shut off all her other thoughts and listened. They never saw him smile? She was slightly confused, since he seemed to be smiling all the time around here. Then again, that was most likely a long time ago so things would have changed by then. Maybe by smiling, he was remembering and acknowledging their presence. “Were you born in Soul Society or the Human World?” her question was simpler.

Setting the cup down on his desk, Lucid went to the other side of the room were a closet was located. In it, lucid kept all belongings that he wanted to keep to himself and only wanted to use them when needed. When he opened it he reached in and grabbed out a packet of cigarettes. He took one cigarette out of the packet and put the rest of them away. He also pulled out a lighter and light it. He put back the lighter and closed the closet. Lucid blew out a cloud of smoke and began to stare off into the distance. The last time Lucid was in the Human world, it was when he first became a Shinigami. He was sent on patrol. back then, Lucid still wasnt fully recovered from the incident with his family so he wasnt very talkative. He partoled the Human world in a False body which was stuffy and hard to move in for a while. Thinking about that time Lucid couldnt resist but smoking a cigarette. He had to. Cause the women he fell in love with smoked and by him smoking it always made him think of her.
Lucid blew out another cloud of smoke and looked at Shizuka. I was in the Human world a few times in the past but i didn't live there. I was born in the soul society. Lucid wished he lived in the Human world. The people seemed so care free there. Not knowing of all the dangers surrounding them in the shadows.

To tell you the truth, she never knew why people smoked but maybe there was a reason for that. It would be rude to rebuke him about it anyway, since he seemed to be deep in thought about something. Apparently, Lucid had been to the Human World a few times. Shizuka herself had never been there, since she dealt more with things in Soul Society and thus, there was no point for her to go. From what she had heard, it was a pretty good place but all the details were not told to her as most Shinigami were too busy working to talk. It was different to Soul Society from what she heard, but that was to be expected. That Human World was what they were protecting from the Hollows and she had always had this desire to want to see it. It was a waste of time for her though, since there was no practical reason for her needing to go. “You’ve gone several times to the Human World? I’ve never actually been, although I want to. What was it like there?” she asked.

the human world was a place of pain and joy. the people seemed to care about other people than themselves. Lucid liked that and envied those people.It is a ok place. You would like it alot.

Several seconds later, her eyes refocused before she smiled at Lucid again. “Only 'OK'? I wish I could go there, but the only time I'd really ever go is if there was an emergency, and a mission is usually never fun...” she replied, a tinge of regret in her voice.

That request had been quite...sudden, to put it mildly. However, as her thoughts settled, a grin appeared on her face. Anyway, this would be rather fun, to see who would win in this sort of situation. “Oh, alright ~” she said quietly to the air in front of her, “It's time to go, I guess.” With those words left hanging in the air, she opened the door before exiting.
