Perfect how you are. So Therion had meant her when he had made that comment previously! It was still somewhat of a specious argument in her favor, being that the pie was truly fantastic, but it was something that her fragile teenage ego was eager to latch onto. It caused her posture to straighten some, and the bright eyes and smile were back in full force.
Until, of course, he discovered her 'plan'. Then her freckled face went slack with mock surprise, hands clapping over her mouth with an exaggerated gasp. "Oh no! You've discovered me entirely! I was going to fatten you up so that we could save stores of wherry!" Eyes danced with giggles that erupted on the second syllable of wherry, her forehead dropping against Therion's shoulder.
"You're silly! Guess I will just have to start making smaller portions for you, so you suspect me less. I spent a lot of time thinking up that plan, you know!" A whole two minutes, in fact.

Therion chuckled at her and winked. She was so cute standing over him like that, smiling brightly and laughing with the whole of her being. Apparently what he'd said - what had he said that was so good? Maybe he'd remember later so that he could use that for the future; keep himself out of trouble with Inaari. Maybe. Probably not, though he was already showing some promise in that area - without even trying.
"Maybe I'm silly. You can absolutely feed me up." Ther reached up with one hand so that he could stroke Inaari's silky hair. So soft under his fingers and against the callouses and old scars. "It'll just give me more excuses to come be with you. Not that I really need one...but yeah." The blond dropped a little kiss to the top of her head.

The hand on her hair felt good, and she would have been content to sit there and let him pet her forever - it was much less dangerous than those kisses Therion seemed so very keen on giving her. Notable also were that compared to her tiny head and petite body, his hands were so very large! It could have encompassed most of her upper arm without much trouble at all, and that was something that needed working if she was going to Impress a dragon!
A chill wind brought Inaari from this thoughtful contemplation of the calloused hands, and brown eyes looked up to note with dismay that the sun had gone down. The sun was down, and her time with Therion had gone with it - she was expected in the kitchens to help with preparation for the morning staff of which she was a part. Her form of klah was particularly particular in the way it was made, and her process was involved and had a complicated setup that they allowed her to take space up for.
After all, it was excellent klah.
So it was with endless regret that the girl sighed and started to set things into the basket gathered over her arm before she paused. Inaari bent down, and very softly kissed Therion again in a rather innocent, but very sweet kiss. "I am sorry, I'm expected in the kitchens but...I'll see you again tomorrow? Somewhere." Anywhere, really. Anywhere would be great.

So much so was Therion enjoying himself that he hadn't even really noticed that the sun was down and the temperature doing a rapid free-fall into chill. Goosebumps, prickling at his flesh (and likely Inaari's as well) gave him first warning that their time was going to be over all too soon, save that he refused to pay attention and listen to it.
It wasn't until the girl herself gave him a soft, chaste kiss and began excusing herself from his company that it finally registered: it was nightl! Time to bring out the glow-lamps and do chores before dinner was called; too bad he wasn't overly hungry, thanks to his companion!
"Oh wow, I lost track of the time too." Sad as it was to lose Inaari's company, her kiss had made up part of it to him (as well as talk of seeing each other again!), Ther was smiling. "No, it's okay. I wish that it would have stayed sunset forever." A sheepish little head-bob from the tall young man and then he started helping her put things away to hide the faint blush that colored his cheeks. Saying such sappy things like that! So unmanly!
"Tomorrow hmm? Do you like to swim? I was going to go swimming or maybe fish in my down time." There was a bit of an unspoken there: if Inaari wanted to swim or fish, that was great...otherwise, he would give those activities up in order to spend more time with her. Once he had her answer and they'd 'cemented' their plans a bit more, he would give her a hand bringing her things back to where they belonged (or close to it >_>) before heading off to do his chores.
