Nova stretched, "we'll go look, if we cant make ir big enough, well we c...c..can find a new place" he said, a slight pang in his gut at the thought of leaving his den, but... Kyr, and a future family mattered more than a shabby hole.

Kyr smiled and nuzzled Nova. "We'll try and stay here." Having a den would be a new experience for Kyr since she usually slept outside. She waited at the entrance letting Nova go in first.

Nova smiled and nudged her inside before him "l..l..l.ladies first" he said, letting her pick where she wanted to sleep. He sat just outside the entrance, as if unsure about what he was going to do, when in reality, he just wanted to savour the sight of Kyrina in his...no .. their Den.

Kyr smiled and gave Nova a lick as she walked past him and into the den. He was right it was tiny, she tested the walls at the back watching as dirt fell to the ground. A smile spread across her face. "Looks like you choose a great place, don't think it'll collapse on us if we expand out."

Nova nuzzled ehr a little when she walked past and licked him, he bit his lip slightly as she tested the walls, moving into the middle of the round floor he curled, and waited for her to finish her inspection, "this w..w...w...was like this wh..wh..when i found this p..p..p..place" he admitted "i've not d..d...d..done anything t..t...to it"

Kyr smiled and nuzzled him. "Then you've got a great eye." she sat next to nova and began to think. As she sat there the tip of her tongue stuck out of her mouth. "I think I've got a plan on how this will work. we'll start at the back and basically we'll dig rooms, like the ants do. that way we can expand as we go. and if ya want we can make the main room here bigger too. What do you think?" She looked over at him her face alit with anticipation.

Nova gulped a little, but smiled at Kyr "wh...wh..whatever you think is b..b...best Kyr, i've n..n...never dug a n..n...n..new den" he lay back down, laying his head on his paws, he loved Kyrina, but everything was changing fast, he knew it would one day, but never thought what he would do when it DID happen.

Kyr looked over at Nova curiously and by his stutter she knew something was up. So she laid down next to him and snuggled close. "What's wrong? We can take our time of course, with my plan we could start whenever you're ready. For now this place is just the right size for us."

Nova smiled weakly "s..s...so much is ch..ch..changing, but we sh..sh..should do it n..n...now, rather than too l...l..l..late" he said, nuzzling her back, to comfort and reassure her.

Kyr smiled and nuzzled him back. "Well as long as we don't wait til the baskets are here I think we'll do just fine. Now that I've decided doesn't mean we have to rush into changes. For now I'm content to just lay here with you." She nuzzled him again hoping that she could reassure him enough that he gets comfortable with her again and looses the stutter.

Nova blushed "er, yeah.. hahaha b..b...b...baskets..." he said, then thought things over "i cant have you d..d..digging when you're p..p..pregnant, we can start in the m..m..morning" he said, nuzzling her and nibbling at her neck affectionately.

Kyr squeaked happily and nuzzled him back. "If you want to start the remodeling that soon then I'm all for it." She snuggled in next him with a contented sigh.

She paused for a moment looking around them. "Probably be best to start at the back and work around to the front, expand it evenly until it's the size you want." She smiled at him and gave his maw a lick.
