ℓєт мє ιηѕι∂є, ƒєєℓ му ραιη.. Hazel looked at Jordan as he finished another entry. He set the journal down, saying he knew how she felt. She blew her bangs from her face and bit down on her lip. She was sitting up on the table, cross legged.
Despite what most people thought, she could change her clothes. And she had since the night before. Now, she was wearing a spring-dress that one of her school friends had given to her, long ago. Of course, she looked completely out of place in this world. Not that anyone could see her.

Jordan sighed and wandered aimlessly around the house before deciding to go out to the local park and seeing what kind of action he could dig up there. He looked around the house, checked his wallet for both some cash and a condom, both of which were there. Very good. And he walked out of the house, locking the door behind him and walking in the general direction of the park.
---------------------------------------------
A few hours later and some grass in his hair he was quiet satisfied with how the little visit with the brunette had gone. He brushed the grass out of his hair and grinned, the obvious sign that he had gotten laid, and headed back to the house now that it was around 1:00

ℓєт мє ιηѕι∂є, ƒєєℓ му ραιη.. Hazel retreated to he attic once Jordan left. She rested up there, not sleeping obviously. But she was just kind of sitting and staring off into space. She was thinking, nothing too major. Just about how much she longed for the companionship of someone, something, anything, anyone.. really.
She was a lonely soul trapped between heaven and hell, not living but not really dead either. It was as if this was her own personal form of hell. An eternity of loneliness, she couldn't escape.
Hazel sighed before hearing the front door slam shut. It was noon. His great old dad was stumbling back inside the house. She made her way back downstairs to greet him. "Drunk already?" She said in a haunting tone. He looked up, slapped the air and slurred a string of curse words.
She circled around him, causing him to stumble around even more. "If I so much as see you touch Jordan again, I will personally kill you. Hell sounds like a nice enough place for bastards like yourself, eh?" He swallowed, slinging a clumsy fist around. "Shut the hell up,"
And before long the scared-drunken-fool was passed out on the couch. But Hazel knew by the way he tossed and turned that she was haunting even his dreams.

Jordan whistled as he walked up to his door, opening it up, not expecting to see his dad passed out on the couch. He scrambled to grabbed the door before it slammed and let out a sigh when he snagged it, he didn't want his dad to wake up. That would suck a lot. Thankfully he managed to grab it and he eased it closed with a sigh. He tip toed, literally through the living room and to the kitchen where he was gonna fix some eggs up and leave them on the counter for his dad, hopefully they would be all cold before he woke up. Jordan sighed again and cracked the egg into the pan, wincing at the sizzling. It wasn't in reality all that loud, but it sounded like cannon fires in his ears.

ℓєт мє ιηѕι∂є, ƒєєℓ му ραιη.. For the next hour Hazel sat perched on the edge of the couch. The old man had turned on the television and she was sort of staring at it in awe. It was in color! And the shows that were playing on it were so... well, odd.
She was intrigued by it. It was amazing her in every aspect. Eventually, the door flew open and Jordan popped in. At first, she thought the scared expression on his face meant that he saw her. And instantly she turned away, as if that would help. But she quickly realized he just hadn't been expecting his father to be laying there, passed out.
He headed straight for the kitchen and Hazel couldn't help but follow. He was cooking eggs. And he looked almost terrified. She knew that look, the look of pure terror that your father may wake up at the softest sound and go on a rampage.

Jordan finished up the eggs and set them on the counter, making two for himself and bringing them up to his room. That was when he figured out how hard it was to climb a ladder with a plate in your hand. But he managed it!!! ... 5 minutes later... He had finally made it up the ladder and was scarfing down his eggs, bored out of his mind already, when he decided he would look through the old trunk at the foot of his bed, hell, maybe he could find something interesting rather than creepy like the journal.

ℓєт мє ιηѕι∂є, ƒєєℓ му ραιη.. Hazel stood behind Jordan as he fumbled up the ladder. She couldn't help but laugh aloud at one point when he almost fell down, but he eventually made it up there.
She sat next to him, trying to pretend that maybe they were hanging out. But it was too quiet and she sighed softly and went over to sit on the trunk while he finished eating.
Jordan eventually came over to her, and she looked at him with her head cocked to the side. He was opening the trunk and she was being knocked off.
That trunk held all of her old stuff that still survived at least. Her old dresses, shoes, and other items. She smiled a bit, knowing that this way he'd get to know her better. Some old photo albums were in there too!

Jordan reached for the latch, feeling a cold draft as he did so, and shivered a bit before heafting the lid of the trunk open and kneeling down to peer inside it.
... Well that was definatly interesting, what was this? Like, her dresser?? He did some more rummaging and found more than just clothes in it, he pulled out a tattered looking book that, when opened, revealed a bunch of old pictures. He figured this must be the girl from the journals stuff and began flipping through some of the pages, wondering which one she would be.
He looked at each picture, all of different people and he stopped on one with two girls in it. Both were blond, both were gorgeous and he assumed they were either sisters or friends. Was one of these beauties the infamous Hazel? Jordan hoped so for a moment, then at least he knew the dead chick was at least hot. He looked at the picture for a moment longer before flipping the page and seeing two boys, twins, these two must be brothers... The next page revealed what he assumed were the mother and father. And by now he was almost positive this was a family photo album. The last page showed one with the entire family and as Jordan looked over it he stopped and looked again, he had almost missed the little girl, standing off to the side, almost out of the picture. He looked, the girl looked so out of place, and so sad... "Hazel..." he murmured to himself, looking at the little red headed girl, his head tilted to the side in thought.

ℓєт мє ιηѕι∂є, ƒєєℓ му ραιη.. Jordan was going through her stuff now. Pulling through her old clothes and finally, her photo album. She could pretend, when she looked through that, that she was actually apart of the family. Granted, she hardly had any pictures of her at all. And in family photographs she was shoved completely to the side, nearly out of it.
Hazel felt a tear swell in her eye just as Jordan realized which girl she was. He whispered her name, knowing what she looked like now. In that particular picture she was around fifteen. Maybe fourteen even. She couldn't quite remember.
But she was always very tiny for her age. That was the last family photograph they had, when the war started to get siginificantly worse everything fell apart even more. And that one hadn't even had her mother in it, her father definatly didn't like taking pictures after her death. And in the one that he allowed them to take he looked drunk as ever, nearly falling over.
Hazel sniffled at the memory, wishing her human life could have been better.

Jordan flipped through it again, just for good measure, and then paused again on the page with the two sisters on it, studying them before flipping back to the family portrait and looking at the mother and the girl he figured was Hazel. Where the hell had that red hair come from? Someone was ******** the milkman. He shrugged and dropped the book on the floor in the pile of clothes, rummaging some more not finding too much that caught his interest, well except the underwear. And not in a perv way either, he had just noticed how much more fabric there was to the underwear from back then to now. Shaking his head he picked up all the contents of the trunk and dumped them back where they belonged, and after wrestling with the lid he finally managed to close it.
Satisfied with his work he took the picture album and opened it, taking the pictures out of the sleeves of the sisters and the family to examine the similarities further, until he heard banging and breaking glass from downstairs. The sounds of his dad yelling about cold eggs floated up to his ears and he hurried over to the attic entrance and began pulling the ladder up, until his dad grabbed a hold of it, jerking both it and him. Jordan closed his eyes as he began to fall out of the attic doorway.

ℓєт мє ιηѕι∂є, ƒєєℓ му ραιη.. Hazel watched as he looked at her pictures oh-so-carefully. He probably wondered what everyone else did. 'Was she even apart of this family?' She literally looked nothing like any of them. Maybe the fair skin, but anyone could have that! It wasn't much.
Her sisters were, what people now would consider model-tall, and she remained at five foot exactly. But just as Jordan finished packing up the trunk and began to take out the pictures from the album, the sound of shattering glass filtered thourough the house. Hazel cringed at the noise. Jordan was scrambling to yank up the ladder, as to get away from his father. But he beat him to it, his dad was yanking at the ladder and Jordan was sent tumbling through the hole in the floor.
Hazel, if she had a heart it would have skipped a few beats now, ran to the hole and jumped down it. She did her best to help Jordan at least land semi-softly. There wasn't much she could do on such a quick notice. She grabbed his arm though, managing to at least make the fall a bit smoother.

Jordan yelped as a freezing something grabbed his arm and he yelled as he landed funny. Luckily nothing was broken, well yet anyways. His dad jerked his arm up and he yelped again as he began hitting him, there wasn't really much he could do being dazed as it was from his fall. "Lazy piece of s**t!! Can't even make a ******** meal when I go out and work for the food you stuff your lazy face with you stupid piece of s**t!!!" his dad yelled out obscenities, cursing his very existence.

ℓєт мє ιηѕι∂є, ƒєєℓ му ραιη.. Hazel was thrown off for a minute. She stood, almost dazed at the sight playing out before her. Her jaw dropped, her eyes bulged. She knew what this scene felt like.
Though, for a moment, it felt as though she were sitting on the edge of her couch, watching some over-dramatic television show. She quickly snapped out of it and ran towards his father. No one tried to save her. No one tried to help her.
She threw herself into this. She made herself visible, but not the pretty sight that she could see everyday. She looked more ravenous. ( something like this) Her red locks were a mess of curls, her eyes were wide and dark. Her voice went from its sweet melody, to the voice of what could be mistaken for the devil.
"I thought I told you to not lay a hand on that boy!" Her tone was set, deep. Her eyes locked on the fathers as her body floated above him, towering over him. She closed her eyes, breathed in, and shoved him down to the floor. ιтѕ σкαу, ∂ση'т ¢яу ℓσνє..

Jordan yelled, his father yelled. Both of them stood there wide eyed as a ******** ghost appeared in front of them. Jordan bolted, ignoring the pain from the inevitable bruises, and ran. He wasn't too concerned with his father, he just wanted to get the ******** out of there.
He knew this ******** house was haunted, he knew it!!!Of course, hadn't he been reading about her for the past few days? Of course he had, and hadn't she been going through the same stuff he did? Right. That didn't mean he wasn't scared s**t less and still going to run for his life, nope. He was gonna go hide in the bathroom or something.

ℓєт мє ιηѕι∂є, ƒєєℓ му ραιη.. Hazel didn't turn to watch Jordan run off. She figured he'd be scared shitless now anyway. She may have ruined her chances at a friendship but at least she could possibly save his life. "You are the sickest, most vile man, I have ever laid eyes upon," Maybe that was a lie. His dad hadn't seemed to have raped Jordan. But he didn't care if she lied or not. He was shaking in pure fear. He was stammering. "Get the hell out of this house! And I don't suggest returning until you're sober." Thats when she summoned the rest of her strength and lifted him off the hardwood floor.
She flung him forward, throwing him towards the door without even touching him. He scrambled out the door and she fell to the floor once it slammed shut.
Hazel was now exhausted. She shrunk back into her 'normal' self. The tiny girl that she had always been, her hair was ratty but not quite as wild anymore. She sighed heavily before curling into a ball, still visible to the naked human eye.
