..:Shirayama Kai:..  Kai saw Ace approaching her, sitting on the chair next to her. from one moment to another, the sunlight became lighter, plenty enough for her to close the umbrella. The weather was better because of this. She realized that was Ace's doing. She chuckled as he offered her some sake. "Thanks, that would be great." she replied, smilling softly.

After her replied and hearing her chuckle he thought that her was quit cute like her smile "That is good to hear" he said peacefully, Ace takes out to sake cup and gently hands one to Kai then he pours sake in both cups then place the bottle on the ground. Ace takes a deep and drinks the sake then breathes out "If you did not know, I can control natural light and darkness that is why I can dim sunlight" he said calmly while gazing at the empty sake cup then pours another cup of sake for himself.

..:Shirayama Kai:.. Kai took the little cup of sake, and took a zip out of it. She sighed lowly after that. She also heard the explanation of his powers, which were quite interesting. "Really? That sounds awesome" she realized, and then concluded... "I can control every kind of darkness, and use it as a weapon." she looked at the sky, realizing something else. "But if I try to do what you did...well...let's just say I would covered all of it...including everything below it..." she held her head, chuckling...she controlled darkness as an everything, consuming all the things below it, sounds, things, people...into a timeless space.

"Wow, that is awesome that you can control different kinds of darkness but I have to say there is a down side to that by controlling some many different kinds of darkness you can never master each and everyone of them to there fullest but also never get them to there peak of there greatness" he said with a calm gently tone of voice, Ace made a big enough hole in the above them that light shined on both of them like when a singer or actor is in the spotlight while sakura peddles flow through the light that held Kai and Ace in then he smiles at Kai that felt heart warming and peaceful. "The other reason why I do not want to control different kinds of darkness is because when a person controls two or more different kinds of darkness that person lose the light, in every darkness there is a light but when one knows more than one different kinds of darkness that person lose the sight of light and that is good because once the light is gone it will never come back and that person will never harmonize light and darkness to bring out the true full power of both light and dark" he says while clearing the area of darkness so the scenery is back to normal and he stares deeply but innocent like in his sake cup while one sakura peddle floats in the center of the full sake cup.

"You're right. It is my blessing...and my curse" she gave him the reason. "Not being able to excel at one, but in need to mantain them balanced...Darkness is so...unpredictable..." she replied in a cold tone, looking at the sky. She had kept her umbrella, so the sun was hitting right above her. She didn't care. "But I didn't have a chance to choose...I've being surrounded by darkness since the beggining of my life..." she stated, remembering her whole life, in a blink of an eye. "Of course, darkness can't survive without light, and viceversa. If I get consumed completely by that misterious being...who knows what will happen??" she concluded, looking at the captain, with a confused look.

Ace does the same process over to drink the sake "That is a curse, and it was not fair that you was forced to be around darkness your whole life and at the cost of that you lost sight of your light" he said with a low but worried tone of voice, Ace gently place his hand on Kai's chin and slowly lifts her head up to face him "Don't worry Kai I will be your light and protect you from that being ok" he said with a cheerful calm voice and had a smile that can warm the coldest of hearts.

As Ace raised her chin, Kai blushed softly, not knowing how to react. It was the first time in so long that she felt... at ease. Her gray eyes shined a bit, due to the sunlight. They were a lot different, compared to that lifeless assassin's eyes she usually had... "T-thanks, Ace-taichou" she stuttered in a low voice, not knowing what else to say. A slight smile appeared on her grin.

As Kai looked up Ace noticed that she is blushing a little as while as she was a little nervous, it seems to Ace that this is her frist that a guy ever touched her he thought to himself. "No problem Kai I will always help a fellow dark user" he said with a gently tone of voice, Ace noticed the sunlight shinning on her grey eyes to show how innocent she looks then his face turned slightly red for a bit. Ace lays down on the ground while his hat is tilted forward and covers his face then he has his left knee up and his right leg over his left knee while a wheat grain is in his mouth.

The sunlight got covered by one of those soft clouds. Kai grabbed the little glass of sake and took a zip from it. She sighed lowly, in sign of relief. A cold breeze passed by, waving her hair. In her backpack, she had some forms so, when she saw the captain arranging himself, according to her, to take a nap, she took them out. It was a nice weather out there, so she decided to continue working there for a while, as she thought on many things she had on her mind.

As time pass Ace continued to rest under the cool gently breeze while the bright sunshine rays was a little dim by a couple of clouds in the sky and sakura peddles flowing through the breeze blowing over Ace and Kai, she started doing some paperwork while Ace is still resting then Ace started to hum the lyrics to a song called Sakura in the moonlight while he is still resting and Kai continues to do paperwork.

As she finished with those forms, Kai sighed in relief. They were all done...well, at least the ones she carried with her. She took out a folder, and put the forms inside. She realized it was getting late, and she hadn't eaten anything, besides she had to finish with those tedious forms. She sat back, placing her feet on the floor, and stood up in a moment...then, as she watched Ace, and hoping she wouldn't scare or interrupt him, she said in a low voice..."Ace-taichou, I have to go for now...if you wish so, please continue enjoying Squad 13's facilities for as long as you like", Kai bowed softly, and took her backpack, hanging it on her shoulder.

While Ace was still humming to the song Kai just got done with the work he heard her packing up her stuff but before she left Ace heard her say in a low voice and to him her voice sounded cute but also heart warming "Ok, I will be going to but stop by my office anytime and by the way your voice I like it, it sounds so cute" he said with a smile then he made the sun shine very very bright so that is blinding to the eye but once the sun shine return to normal there was no sign of Ace near Kai he disappeard.

"I'll sure do", she smiled softly as she waved her hand towards the Captain, who was leaving. A strong sunlight made Kai cover her eyes with her right hand. When it was gone, along with Ace...Kai couldn't help but to scratch her head softly, and blushing slightly..."My voice...cute???", she asked to herself as she grabbed the rest of her stuff, opening her umbrella, and walking back to her office, still wondering why would he say that.

Ed ran into the pool and made a huge Cannon ball. "This is the life, I wondor when Captain will get back" Ed said to him self while floating around. Then Ed swam to and Edge and got a bottle of Sake he putted their earlier and drank it and then slept in the pool while floating Around

..:Shirayama Kai:.. It was a really calm day. The sun was deamed out by a few joyful clouds crossing the sky, messing around with him. The temporal Captain of Squad 13 walked outside, after a long day locked in her office. The girl was wearing her modified uniform; a sleeveless kosode, with the regular hakama. She had a thoughtful grin on her pale face, covered by black hairlocks, which floated once in a while with the mischievous breezes. The squad had been really lonely those past few days. Yet, all the work was confined with her. The shinigami decided to take a rest from all the work, by hanging out at the pool area from the Squad. The girl laid softly on a hammock, firmly placed between two palm trees. Their leaves covered part of the sunlight that managed to escape from those lousy clouds' cover up. Kai sighed lowly as she raised her arms and placed her hands, holding each other, below her head. She looked sideways, a bit freaked out inside because of the easiness of the silent squad. Although she wasn't able to take a nap, she just stared at nothing for the time being, thinking about too many things she had in mind.
