Skyfire tilts her wings, angling quickly to the side to avoid the attack. She lost a little height when doing it, but quickly worked to regain it. Any flier knew that height was the advantage, and she was not going to just be some pushover for someone she just met. And she was testing him in her own way, to see if he was worthy of her daughter.
With his attack, he had lost ground, and she kept herself flying higher, making sure she kept her height. As she gained her altitude, she folded her wings, heading after him in a dive. Lets see how he handled that.

~He smirks as she dodges, he knew that she was doing and smirkings again. Let her test me I know that I wothy to Avara even if I lose.
Watching her fly higher as she gets ready to attack when she dives towards him he dodges her easily then risings it the sky and takes off flying for the forest trees and the lake that he could hear not that far away. Chasing someone in the air requied speed and grace. He heads for the water, dodging trees and he flys hoping that Avara would follow them to the lake. He knew that the falls there would be great and it was open easily to move in~

She knew where he was going, and headed after him, then, stopped with a grin, and made her way to weave between the trees, enticingly. Who needed open air anyway to spar. She grinned and sailed through the branches, pulling so close to one tree that the tips of her primary feathers brushed the bark on the tree. Lets see how he did with really close quarters.
Avara ran to keep pace with the pair, watching as they dove and wove their way through the sky. She watched with longing, knowing she would never be able to join them, but longing just the same to feel the sky the way they did. She stopped in her tracks though as her mother headed back into the trees, and she turned to see what Trovin would do.

~Trovin flys faster picking up some speed, he smirks and weaves into the trees again. then he flys closer to Skyfire and smirks~ " Not, bad." ~ He smirks and flys towards her as fast as he can tuking his wings close to his body to go as fast as he can~

She turns to grab him, fouling his wings with her paws, and casuing them both to tumble towards the ground, though not at the hard surface. She aims for the lake edge, hurtling towards it with wings slightly spread to steer. She left the option open. If he could get free, he would have room to head for the open sky. If not, they would both be getting a little wet. And should they hit the water, the game was over. Though there would be no defeat even if they crashed. He was quick, he was strong, and she was sure that her daughter had picked well.

~Trovin blinks as she fouls his wings with her paws. He trys to get her off and fights to get away before they hit the water. He blinks as he snuggles more trying to get free right before he hits the water butt first~

She lets him loose as she dives, and pulls herself to the surface, mantling her wings before paddling lazily towards the shore. She stays close to make sure that her 'prey' is still alright, and to make sure he didn't get hurt in the rather spectacular was crash. She lays her wings out on the surface of the water, cupping them so that there is air under, and lets them hold her boyantly as she waits for Trovin to surface, paddling in slow circles.

~He holds his breath as he hits the water. he then flaps his wings and heads for the surface he sees Skyfire's face and smiles as he makes his way to the shore.~ " That was fun. Thanks for sparing with me Skyfire." ~He looks around as he heads for the shore, He looks for Avara to see where she was, he worryed about her.~

You're welcome. It was fun. She smiled, then folded her wings and dove under the surface, then used them to propel her through the water. She curled around the plants, and headed for the ground, pawing through the soil to pull out something that looked like a clam. But it was the size of her tail tip. She pulled out three of them, grasping on at the tapered edge with her teeth, and holding the other two; one in her front paws and one in the back. Then she headed for the surface again, and drug her prize out of the lake, pushing them onto the shore, and then giving herself a good shake.
Avara raced to the lake edge, and watched as Skyfire and Trovin emerged from the water after a rather breathtaking fall. She pranced happily as he draw near, her tails wagging in pleasure. She would jump in after him, except she just got dried off, though that shouldn't bother her in the least. When he is close enough, she nuzzles him affectionately. Did you have fun?

~Trovin reaches the edge he pulls himself up and watches Avara walk over to him with her tails wagging he smiles and nuzzles her back then snuggles her cheek. He wags his tail and smiles~ " yes, I did your mother is quite a warrior." ~ he turns his head and watches Skyfire.~

Avara smiled, and nuzzled him. She had to be to keep me safe. As she watched Skyfire pull the large clam-like creatures from the water, yipped happily and and bounded over to help her, kicking dirt up from under her paws as she sped over to help pull the large shelled creatures onto the shore.
And it is the same to you. You are quite a formidable opponent. It was fun to spar with you. Skyfire smiled as her daughter came to help. She shook again, shaking her wings to remove the water that had gathered on the quills. Her feathers weren't actually wet. She had an oil-base on them that kept them rather dry if she didn't stay in the water too long. Her grin turned slightly sharper as she showed her fangs, then darted forward to grab Avara by the scruff, and pitched her into the water. Avara squealed in surprise as she was flung backwards towards the water, and handed on her back. Bath time, Skyfire told the flying girl with a grin before she hit the water. Then she turned to Trovin. I didn't want her to miss out on the fun. She'll emerge in a moment.

~Trovin smiles then turns to watche Skyfire he then blinks at her playing with the large shelled creature. He smiles at her " You as well we will have to do it again sometime." He watches her grab his mate and ptich her into the he blinks and watches Skyfire as she explains why she did that. He then tilts his head and waits for her to rise. Blinks fuzzles and bluffs up as he hears a howl in the from the woods right before they start to see green eyes and lower down a green glowing dagger as well as I dark red one. He blinks as a white head with gray and tiger markings step out of the forest and then a black head with a white nose.~ " Great how did they find me." ~he then looks at his mother and father as his father takes flight and comes towards them, he should have rembered that his mother was the best at tracking.~
~Niko watches his mate as she comes to a stop infront of him. She must have lost their son scent or she found him nearby and was waiting for him to make a move, coming beside her he sticks his head out of the brush and sees Trovin and two others, he blinks and looks at them again then jumps into the air and flys towards them~
~Sam sniffes the ground then feels the warmth of the sun on her face, she then comes to a stop and sniffs again, it was wired she could smell Trovin then couldn't she blinks at sniffs again. Smelling him she turns her head and howls so if he was in hearing range he would hear her and come. She then takes a step and sticks her head farther into the light she then hears her mate take off and blinks~
~Trovin blinks then turns and jumps into the air as he flys a few feet off~ " Skyfire that male coming towords us, is my father, there will be a fight I don't want to see you or Avara hurt, so please stay out of it." He then turns and flys for his father~

Skyfire turned her head quickly, her ears perking as she hears the howl. Her ears are straight as she sees something farther off in the distance. As Trovin takes to the air, and explains, she nods in understanding. I'll keep her clear. You just don't go loosing, you understand? Family affairs could always be messy, but she was sure he knew exactly what he was doing. Now, just to keep Avara away from the fray.

~Niko stops in mid-air and waits for Trovin. As soon as he is close enough he growls~ " your mother doesn't want me to damand my pound of flesh infront of stangers. However I will come for it one night as soon as your mother and I get settled we will talk then." ~ He looks at where Sam was settling then back at Trovin~ " Come, your mother has missed you so, and you know that my heart gets her way." ~He turns and starts to fly for Sam not waiting for him follow. Once he is beside her he rubs faces and whispers in her ear then he moves stiffly to sit beside her and watches Trovin and the others, noting Skyfire and her feathers and seeing the other female still in the water~
~Trovin watches his father, he growls back showing his father his treeth and getting ready for a fight when his father speaks. He blinks and looks at his mother even those she was blind he could feel her eyes on him. He looks back at Skyfire and where Avara is then follows his father, he watches as his stiffly moves beside her. Landing a few feet away he bows to his mother then belly crawls closer to her. He then licks her cheek rests his nuzzle against her forhead.~
~Sam hears them flaping their wings then the growl. She waits for the sound of their fight and then to run inbetween them and playing peacemaker, which then Niko would back off. She knew that he wasn't all the way healed yet. Hearing them flap towards her she hears and smells her mate land then snuggle her cheek as he moves stiffly beside her. A couple of mintues later she smells Trovin and hears him land then feels the wind move as he lays on his belly and crawls up to her. Feeling his togue on her cheek she smiles then she relaxes aganist his nuzzle at her forhead~ " Hello, my little one, would you mind calling your friends over here please?"
~Niko tenses at her words he didn't want any stangers near Sam. She was helpness and blind, plus he didn't know them them could attack and hurt his mate, since he was still sore and weak from the attack the pack had given him~ " Love?"
~Sam glares at him then shakes her head~ " No, I want to meet them, love. I want to 'see' what our son has been doing and whom he has been hunging out with."
~Trovin blinks at his father and smiles at his mother then stands and turns towards Skyfire~ " it's okie, my mother would like to meet you both.~

Skyfire watches tensely at the events taking place, her wings half unfurled as she became ready to defend herself if things went wrong. She was distracted for a moment, as Avara surfaced, and paddled towards the lake shore again.
Mother! What did you do that for? I just got dry!
Skyfire leaned forward and grabbed her by the scruff, pulling her out of the water. Hush pup. You've been underwater long enough to miss enough. Turned back to see where Trovin was, and was surprised to see he had landed on the shore, and was belly-crawling. She kept her attention on what was going on, the feather tip to her tail flicking slightly as her attention was before her.
Avara looked up at Skyfire, wondering what she was talking about, when she noticed her intense gaze across the water. She turned, and noticed the striking pair, and Trovin with them. Who is that?
Those are Trovins parents. And it sounds as though we've been invited over. She looked back over, and then nodded to let Trovin know she had heard.
I guess I'm swimming, as I can't exactly fly.
Oh, come here. You're still not that big. She reached forward and wrapped her paws around Avara's chest.
What are you.... oh no! Avara found herself tucking her head as she was buffeted by wind, and then found her paws leaving the ground. She wasn't afraid of flying anymore. She had gotten over that fear a long time ago. She had to have, with Skyfire carrying her around through the air all the time as she grew up. Though it was odd that she could still do it even after Avara was fully grown. She she dangled under the belly of her mother as they skimmed over the surface of the water, and then found herself with her feet upon the soil on the other side. Um, Hi.
