Eve glanced at the speaker and smiled at the girl. The ragdoll was always willing to make friends with others.
"Really? My mother says most of her family drinks blood and I know my uncle Damin does," Eve remembered her manners.
"I'm Eve, and my friend is Luvvie," Eve said as she introduced herself and her friend. She offer her hand to the girl with a light smile.

Deirdre nodded, her blonde hair bobbing against her ivory horns. "Reawwy! It's good." She licked her lips, a pink stain tinting her fangs the color of her usual dress. Her brain tried to process the name Damin, but really, with so many people coming in and out of the castle, there was no way she could remember if he'd been there or not.
She sat her cup down on a chair and shook Eve's hand with a friendly smile. "I'm Deirdre." Her name came out weird because she tried to duplicate the amount of accent it took to say it correctly. So, she scrunched up her nose and gave it another go. "Deeedrrraaa."

"Sophie!" Howl whined. "That's just the sort of thing that could get me into trouble with someone!" No wonder Adrian had disliked him! "Why didn't you tell him any of my good qualities? I tell everyone your best qualities..." It wasn't fair. Not at all fair. Why had Sophie betrayed him like this? "And that hurt," he added, looking at her reproachfully, before looking at his feet. "So you haven't met Lyoko... Why not, though?" If Adrian was married to her, why didn't she know about Sophie? It just seemed so... wrong. So wrong not to introduce someone who was living in their house to one's beloved. Either Adrian was very brave, or very cowardly, Howl couldn't decide which. He knew he would have never dared to bring someone into his castle without telling Sophie first.
"You know, I still don't believe you," Howl muttered. How could vampires be good? Especially ones that seemed to want to eat him so badly? "Maybe if you hadn't lied, Adrian wouldn't have tried so hard to frighten me."

Samantha rolled her eyes. She was used to stubborn children, she happened to be one. "Well, if you're going to be like that," she muttered. "Let's dance, Xelly. I wasn't going to make you, you know--but since you won't talk to me, I don't think we have a choice. Come on. I'll show you how to have fun here."

Zee frowned at the reminder that soon, he'd be having yet another addition to his family. A hand went to his stomach. "Fine. She's fine," he said in a tone that implied he'd rather her not bring this subject up. Especially not in front of people! What were they going to think, that he was gay? Ugh...

Alome, having lost interest with what was going on, left the area to sit on a bench against the wall. What did she care about interacting with others? It was mainly a bunch of babies here anyway.
Her sky blue eyes scanned the area, resting them on her little cousin. As long as she kept an eye on him and he was safe, she could care less what was happening around her. She wouldn't let anyone hurt him again. Not if she could help it!
Once told where the stage was, Irae eagerly passed Lisa, not being rude, as he did bow as he passed her, but still seeming way to overly excited.
When he arrived, he watched the band with admiration, almost up on the stage. While the song played, he shyly wondered if he'd be allowed to sing...

Lyoko stayed near her husband while watching all the activity. There were suddenly so many people here...she felt slightly shy. It'd be a long time since she'd been at a party like this after all - let alone hosted one!
Her golden gaze took in Adrian at the mention of a 'Sophie'. Not one to bring up things in front of guests, she just nodded. "Hello, Zee." Lyoko gave a small smile before staring back at Adrian. No words needed to be spoken, her expression was questionable enough. Who is this Sophie exactly, Darling?

Kaito groaned as Deirdre dragged him over towards a group and then hid behind him. Where was they goin? He didn't appreciate bein' dragged around, but with a bunch of people around - the toddler didn't really find it worth the trouble to protest. In fact he grabbed even tighter at his twin's hand.
In the crowd however he nearly lost her and had to run in order to spot her at the table getting a drink. Mmm. "Smells good." Kaito commented out of the blue as he snuck over and stole a sip from Deirdre's cup. He grinned satisfied as the drink warmed him, before looking up at the ragdoll girl. She was similar to a couple of others that he had seen before, but they were all older. His arms slipped around his sister as he stood behind her and stared at the other children.

Ivy leaned against a wall, watching the people around her with her face composed. She had lost sight of her daughter, but trusted the toddler to scream if she was in danger. The assassin missed her weapons, but knew that the nobles wouldn't be too happy if she had come armed.
Eve made a slight face at the idea of blood, but then again, she knew she might not understand the appeal of it being what she was. Damin drunk what he called animal and human blood mixed. This had made her cry and want to hide Lava from him.
Eve smiled though listening to how the name was said as a way to keep from saying it wrong. "It's pleasant to meet you, Deirdre," Eve had some trouble saying it and didn't mean to say it wrong.
The toddler tilted her head to the side, seeing a boy with Deirdre. She smiled still in a way to be friendly.

"I did tell him your best qualities, but I couldn't very well lie about the others, could I?" Sophie made it a point not to step on his feet anymore. Still, if Howl didn't want her to talk about those things, then he shouldn't act that way, but then he wouldn't be Howl.
She pondered the question while she danced. Why hadn't she met Lyoko before? A quick glance at her said all Sophie needed to know. "I suppose she wouldn't be happy, at Adrian that is, and then I wouldn't have a home." Then she purposely stomped down on his foot. "I didn't lie! Get that out of your head."

The Vampiress clasped her hands behind her back after giving a nod to the closest band member, motioning to Irae. Sure, he wasn't interacting with anyone, but singing was just as much fun as dancing, right? And this was a party, after all! It seemed illegal not to have fun.
She didn't go far, just to a wall to watch next to a female dark elf. "Having a good time?" Subconciously, she knew when the last of the castles occupants glidded out onto the dance floor, filling in the empty spaces. Most, if not all, were of her species.

Despite his freakish height, Adrian felt like the smallest man in Gaia. Had he been able to, his palms would have started to sweat. As it was, he gave Jae a tense smile and nodded. "Not a problem at all. She's an interesting girl, and I'll be sure to pass the message along."
He hopped from one foot to the other, glancing briefly at Lyoko. Silver/blue eyes tried to convey peace, a storm of panic filtering in the background. It was a welcome relief when he noticed the other guest, but abruptly it all stopped. "Pleasure." Hell, did he have to gesture to the kids? His brows knitted together, and even if he was polite, Adrian sneaked a peek downward. ......Was that man pregnant?

Deirdre laid her arms over Kaito's, ever the princess with her perfect posture. One would never know she often tripped when she walked or choked on air. She snuggled up in the brother. "Dis is mai twin brodder." The toddler moved her head to the side so Eve could get a good look at him.
She heard giggling from the dance floor and looked over in time to see a woman slung around the shoulders of her partner. Their dance was upbeat, in the moment and suddenly she wanted that. "Do joo wanna dance?" First she looked at the ragdoll, then back to her brother.

Ivy nodded, "I hope my dear Eve is having fun as well." The assassin looked at the woman, knowing what she was species-wise. "Please pardon my manners, I'm Ivy."
Eve thought Deirdre' twin was cute, but she offered a hand to him in greeting. "I'm Eve, how are you?" This she said to the boy.
The toddler glanced at Luvvie, not wanting to abandon her friend. She also didn't know how to dance besides a few steps she had learned by watching Damin and her mother training and that didn't count as dancing to the ragdoll.
"Perhaps another time," Eve said a little shyly at the thought of dancing at the moment.

Once given the approval by the hostess, along with the band members, Irae scrambled to the leader, waving him down to whisper into his ear. He wanted to try his hand in singing a song he recently heard on the radio while he was waiting for his mother a while ago. It was a soft sweet song, perfect for a dance~
When offered the microphone, he declined it with a gentle smile, taking a removable USB connect out of his head seat and plugging it into the mixing booth. With a quick switch on, he signaled to the band to start playing.
Maybe.. This wasn't such a good idea.. There was so many people out there.. And This would be his very first performance... But the performer that was programmed inside of him began to shine forth.
Irae changed into a completely different person, his voice changing to become more clear, more elegant compared to the soft, shy tone that he normally held.

His voice resonated throughout the ball room. The crowd didn't matter anymore. It was just him and the band..

Alome was beyond surprised when she heard her cousin begin to sing. He always seemed so quite.. So reserved..
She wanted to dance now, even though she didn't really know anyone..
There was one blond haired boy she knew, from when she was little. Maybe...
She spotted him in the crowd. That girl.. Sophie was with her. The Butterfly had read about her, and instantly held disdain for her. Why.. Well, that was for her to know, right? Why should she explain herself?
Alome decided that she'd rather not get interactive with anyone, taking her seat back near the stage. Her job wasn't to enjoy herself, but to watch over the little vocaloid that was onstage. And that's just what she'd do.

Howl frowned slightly. "I should think that my best make up for the bad," he muttered. "But if Lyoko wouldn't be happy with you here--I could always convince my parents to let you stay. I know they'd love to have you." He knew his mother at least, would welcome Sophie with open arms.
"Sophie!" he wailed, looking down at his injured foot. "Stop doing that! It hurts! I shall never be able to dance the same again! Or perhaps even walk, you've damaged it so badly. You will have to carry me everywhere. To think my own wife would abuse me..." He looked at her reproachfully. "Maybe you didn't lie, but you certainly made me sound wicked. Next time, include the part about me stealing hearts and eating them, too. Oh, and taking girl's souls away. Don't forget that I do that too. Maybe after you tell Adrian all that, he really will eat me!"

Zee gave Lyoko a smile. "Nice to meet you," he said. He felt sure she wasn't one of the vampires Howl had described as being horribly frightening. He looked up at Adrian. "I heard you and Jaella talking about Sophie. She's your daughter, isn't she?" There were quite a few vampires here, maybe he had the wrong one? The results would be disastrous. "Howl told me about the dinner," he added with another smile. "I assume you were 'pulling out the gun and cleaning it'? I did the same thing with Almira."

"Hello. I'm Kaito." Kaito took Eve's hand and with perfect grace mimicked what he had seen his father do countless times before - he kissed the top of her hand lightly before pulling back to Deirdre's side. "I'm good, you?"
Looking at his twin he gave a small nod. Dancing wasn't really his favorite thing to do but if Deirdre wanted it then he would try his best for her. His glittering gaze looked at the rag doll sadly as she refused his sister's offer. "Please? We could all dance togetha. No problem."

Lyoko's golden honey gaze glinted scarlet before she just shook her head with a very soft sigh - something that only a vampire standing near to her would be able to hear. "A pleasure."
With a stiff nod the vampiress took a step away from her husband. "If you gentlemen would excuse me, I'm a bit parched." She offered a small smile before heading away and into the crowd.

Eve blushed a little at the kiss on her hand, but Louie did the same thing when he greeted Anya from what she'd been told about her mother's parents. "Pleasant to meet you, Kaito. I'm all right."
"I don't know how to dance, but I'm willing to try at it." She looked at Luvvie, wondering what the girl wanted to do as she didn't want to abandon her friend.
