Definitely had to be rainbow sprinkles, no other sprinkle could compare! "Cookies and cream, of course! And for you Z-man?" He moved ahead, determined to pick up the tab for this. Demy produced his wallet from his pocket (god, it was just as gaudy and rainbow as everything else he owned) and waited for his little buddy to make his own order.

"hmm..." He scanned the list again and pondered... apricot? Naw not as ice cream... ah! there... he pointed vaguely at the 'add a flavor list' "Um...the maple I think, if I remember that was pretty good."

Demy had to try very -hard- not to make a face at that. Maple in ice cream still didn't sound very good, but it was Z's birthday and he simply couldn't fuss about whatever unfortunate thing he did to his ice cream. Maybe at a later date he could educate him on how other flavors were -clearly- superior.
For now though, he simply paid for their ice cream and handed Z's sprinkle-less treat over. That done, he led to way to a nice unoccupied table and plopped into a seat to enjoy his own -properly- topped ice cream.

"YOUR the one who likes to mix SUGAR into ENERGY DRINKS...do not make those eyes about me liking -maple- ice cream..." He scolded. "Next time you make that face I'm ordering something like...pistachio..." He sat down and stuck his tongue out in a 'demy moment' before enjoying the first lick of his ice cream. He maintained that it was VERY good and not too sweet or 'odd' at all -thank- you.

"Ughhhhh pistachio! Just no Z, no, not even on your birthday. Ugh. And hey! Sugar in energy drinks is delicious, don't knock it unless you've tried it. And before you say it, I -have- tried maple ice cream and I just don't like it, so nyeh!" He stuck his own tongue out (he was the master of the 'Demy moment' afterall), and dove right into his own ice cream.

"Well I -do- like it, so there...I tried your chocolate chip pancakes after all... AND your energy drinks...so...yeah...My birthday my flavor...Mmmmmmm" He made himself smirk into the next lick and just savored it.
"Besides... I bet you'd love what my father used to eat... putting maple syrup ON vanilla ice cream, you'd get less sugar if you put sugar on golden grams." He crinkled his nose remembering the one time he'd tried the mix.

"But but but...Z....maple syrup belongs on -pancakes- ...doesn't it?" He didn't sound so sure anymore. In fact he was starting to wonder if maybe maple syrup didn't actually belong in the ice cream like Z's father thought. Huh...it could......interesting?
Who knew?
Shrugging it off Demy went right back to his ice cream. Let Z enjoy his weirdo flavor, whatever made him happy. "Loveeee youuuuu" Oh lord.

That blush -shot- across Zink's cheeks again.
He mumbled -something- into his ice cream that sounded rather suspiciously like "I rather very much like you too" in a sort of oh god there had better not be hidden microphones let me drown in this ice cream lord" kind of way.

The rest of the ice cream treat went by in a blur...a likely rather frustrating blur for Z as Demy was keen on telling him more than once just how much he loved him. Which was a lot. A lot.
Eventually though the treats had been finished and Demy was busily dragging Z to their next destination. Really, he figured if he kept being enthusiastic and taking the lead then Z wouldn't think anything about how being out was affecting his condition and how he should probably be resting. He didn't want to rest anymore. It was -far- too boring.

Zac made them rest a few times on the way as best he could manage, little things like "Lets feed the ducks" though he had no real interest in them other than the one that kept nipping his pant leg trying to get more popcorn.
Just enough to -try- and make sure that Dem had enough time to catch his breath and make sure he wasn't looking too 'off color'
"How are you and Oreo doing?" he asked as they made it finally to the Taco Palace.

It was likely a very good thing that Dem at least -liked- ducks. Loved them, in fact. Z had to keep him from stuffing a baby one in his hoodie with Oreo and going back to the dorm with it. There was begging involved, quite a bit of it, but the duckling eventually was returned and they moved on.
Demy still thought the duck would have made an excellent dorm-mascot. Alas.
"Great!" He had a bit of a pant going, but he was still grinning ear to ear and looked mostly steady on his feet. Oreo was still safely tucked into his hood. "How 'bout you Z?"

"Hmm...After tacos why don't we do a Movie, its close, we don't have to walk far and we can actually rest a bit...How's that sound? I don't know about you but after all the late nights its kind of tiring..."
He glanced sidelong at Dem, watching the light pant he had. Should he just say lets go back? that was sure to make more of a protest... at least with a movie perhaps after he could suggest the return on the basis HE was tired.

Demy would kick up one hell of a fight if he suggested going back now. For one thing, it was going back to the dorm. BORING. For another it was a ton more walking and while he wanted to be enthusiastic it would be nice to sit down for just a bit. Til he stopped panting. Then he'd be fine!
Movies though were good. It was more time out of the dorm while still not doing something too strenuous. It was sure to be a good compromise. "Movie sounds great Z!" Heh, maybe he could get in some snuggles in the nice dark theater.

"Um... How about that Dragon one, the taming thing..." He said hoping to find one that Demy would like as well. No sense watching something that would either make him MORE hyper, freak him out, or put him to sleep.
The Dragon movie might wind him up some but... at least he'd know there were no real dragons right? And he'd already ridden a Yoma apparently so, where was the harm.

He was -so- going to want a dragon after this. Or perhaps spend another evening mourning Sparky the Ravedragon. Man had he loved that thing.
"Sounds great!" Demy was grinning and nodding his head enthusiastically, which was typically a very good response. He was, however, quite thankful once they had their order and he could plop down into a booth by the window. It was there that the pant finally subsided.
