Science is a lie? Don't even get me started on this one. Believing science is a lie, religion or not, is ignorance. Pure, uncorrupted, ignorance, plain and simple.

If you want, you can go hang out with that republican lady who is a senator of like oklahoma, she's wiccan too I believe. She thinks the earth is 8,000 years old, and made a fool of herself on national television. That's what happens when you believe in religion over science. You can't prove myth, there is 0 evidence, however, science can be proven, always, all the time. I'm not saying I'm a scientologist, I'm not, but saying you believe in nothing of science, makes me want to stop talking to you, possibly forever. Ignorance is a plague, and it's a lot like the chicken pox. You see it very clearly, and you just don't involve yourself with anybody who has it.

WRONG. Conspiracy nuts say the world will end in 2012. Not Science.

Um, can I clarify something?

NYX, is a primordial goddess, not just a goddess. That means she's more of the persona of the night, like how Uranus is the persona of the sky. She doesn't side with anyone, and is independent. She is the night, married to Erebus, the primordial god of shadows. She's motherly and mysterious, and in myths, is stronger than Zeus, who is intimidated by her. Nyx, Erebus, Gaea, Tarturus and Eros(according to some myths) sprung from either the Cosmic Egg(another myth), or Chaos itself.

HEKATE is the goddess of witchcraft, the dark side of the moon, crossroads, magic and ghosts. She was born after Nyx, but not that much. She was born from Perses and Asteria, being the granddaughter of Coeus, the niece of Leto. She was first served and adored by the gods on Olympus, before going down to Hades, where she served guided souls to their places of death, like the Elysium for an example. But after, she was driven for power, and used her witch powers to make 'zombies' of Ancient Greece. So she was banned from Hades, and forced to go to the moon. In revenge, she created the empusai. She is the mother of Circe and Medea, and is supposedly quite strong. Even if she isn't as strong as Nyx, she ties much with the nighttime.

The two goddesses are much alike for their tying of the night, and for their more mysterious personalities.

(And heads up, Raven Bloodrose, because Urania was the goddess of astronomy, tying up with science. And wikipedia ain't the most reliable thing in the world)

It isn't gonna end in 2012? O_o
Oh, well...WE'LL SEE WHEN THE WORLD ENDS!! AND WHEN WE ALL DIE WE WILL SEE WHO IS CORRECT!!

I think that in 2012 all of our tries to contact the aliens will somehow reach a species and it'll just be like when the Europeans came to the Americas. Didn't work out so well for the Native Americans, now did it? Yes, when they arrive they will use up all of our resources and sell us, humans, off as slaves. Just because the world will end doesn't mean the human race will. We'll just grow up as slaves serving otherworldly creatures.

That...or the Mayans just didn't have enough room on their calender. Either one.

Science is based on facts, it is necessary. There are no facts saying the world will end in 2012. People have said that the world was going to end on 6/6/06, and these same people said that Ronald Reagen was the devil. So they don't have a very good reputation for being right.

For the thing about the world ending in 2012. The mayans predicted that the world as we know it, would change, so it could be something small, like the earth moves differently for a day. Many scientist blew it out of poportion

Actually, I want to clarify something. The Mayans believed that on December 22 2012, the earth as we know it, would change.

They didn't say how. They didn't say aliens were going eat us, nothing like that.

Most people take it as a bad thing, the people who believe in it anyways, but the Mayans didn't say it was bad

The global economic depression could end, we could find an inhabitable planet, a cure for aids could be found. A countless number of good things can happen.

If you think time will restart, I don't understand what you're saying, because as I've said before, I don't speak ignorant.

Time will never restart. What's lost, is lost. Time is one of the few things that cannot ever be recovered, and can not ever stop. A classic and brilliant example, is a newborn child. What will happen to a newborn child in 2012? Will he just go from a 1 year old, to a newborn baby again? You watch things grow, you see things die, nothing is changing. Sure, every like 100,000-1,000,000 years, there is an ice age. Not like the one that occured after the dinosaur was alive, but the one that occured probably about 10,000 years ago, when the first humans barely managed to survive. But even that isn't the resetting of time.

Some people don't even think about what they say, from that, post, at least while you were posting it, I can't help but think you're one of those people, at least for the time while you were writing that post, because if there is another reason that you think something like that, please, let us know. I want to learn about the religion that believed that the earth was going to just rotate backward 25 quintillion times, and reset from scratch. Ridiculous. Science is all theories? Have you taken a look anywhere? Do you think god threw light at us? Like...did jesus hop down from heaven, walk down the stairway to heaven, and just toss edison the cotton filament? No. Did god invent cars? No. Did he put us into space? No. Did he give us any technology used to save lives? No. Science isn't theories, it's in everything around you.

KK sweet, so believing in science in everyday life is wrong in your eyes, but reading witchcraft books isn't? Next time, instead of waiting for your response, I'll just shake my magic 8-ball, because there is more logic behind the "try again" than there is behind your argument. Thanks.
