Vance looked up at Tori eagerly as he wished to play more with the green girl. He squealed happily when they were allowed, and let Lucifel tug him over to the swings. "Yay! Let's swing really high!" He said excitedly. He had seen big kids do it, now he wanted to try!

Donoivan smiled nervously at that exclamation. Oh dear. Was it safe for Vance to try something like that He was such a small kid. He looked over at Tori. "Uhm.... I'll follow them over and keep watch. Don't want anyone breaking an arm." He chuckled softly, and wandered over to where the kids had run off to.
Donovan kept watch nearby. He wasn't confident that Vance would even be able to swing very high, but if he took a tumble, he wanted to be able to act quickly. He may have been new to this whole parent thing, but no matter what, he didn't like the idea of a child getting hurt. The swing set was on sand anyway. He would be fine.

Vance climbed into a seat, and waited for Lucifel to get in one beside him. He swung his legs back and forth, smiling eagerly.

Vance smiled happily, swinging harder trying to beat Lucifel at this swinging game. Ooh! She had help! Maybe Donovan would help him too?
Vance turned his head to his dad, still swinging back and forth. "Push!" He said pleadingly. Donovan smirked a bit and ruffled his hair. "Sure sure." He could do that much, right? "Hold on tight." He warned, not wanting to push the toddler off the swing. Vance giggled anxiously and gripped the swing's chains as tight as he could, squealing as Donovan pushed at the child's back, sending his swinging higher. "Again again!" He had to get higher!

After a few minutes, Donovan's cell phone went off. He continued to push the boy with one hand so he could check the number.
Oh! It was the men at his house.
It seemed like they were done their work, and wanted their pay. Donovan put the phone away, and grabbed onto Vance as he swung backward, pulling him off the swing. The boy squeaked and laughed, wiggling his limbs. "Eee! He got meee!" He laughed while wriggling in his dad's arms. "Sorry buddy. But it looks like your room is all done." Vance was a little conflicted. He wanted to play, but he remembered seeing a lot of cool things sitting at home that were going to be going into his bedroom. he wanted to see!

"Thanks for the lunch, and for playing with Vance, but I have to go." Donovan said to Tori and Lucifel. He set down Vance so he could say goodbye to the two girls before leaving.

Vance hugged the girl back. "Kay!" He replied, running back to his dad and gripping his hand. Donovan nodded to the two of them and waved his hand, turning and heading out back to his house.

"That was fun!" Vance said, looking up at Donovan, struggling to keep the older man's pace. Donovan didn't really consider this his idea of fun, his bachelor days still flashing before his eyes. "Mmhmm." He agreed to humor the boy, hoisting him up into his arms so Vance didn't have to try and keep up.
