"What. The. Hell." Sailor Perseus stared, open mouthed at the things that had just occurred. This had to be reality, Adira didn't think her mind could come up with these things on its own. "I'm not kissing anyone- why would I want to kiss her? Whats the point in that?" There was obvious disdain in her voice. In the back of her head, she agreed a bit at the lesbo comment. Perhaps the cat gleaned pleasure in watching others kiss? That was...disturbing to say the very least. Perseus would rather throw lametastic rainbow ribbons at people. Hell, she would feel ridiculous, but she'd rather throw sugary pink heart ribbons at people. "This is getting ridiculous. I'm going home." Regardless of what she said, she was too shocked to do anything but just stand there, eyebrows furrowed. It felt a bit like a classic scene in a horror movie; the entire audience is screaming 'RUN RUN RUN', and the main character just stands there.

A cat just kissed her.
A cat.
Sassolite was suddenly still and silent for the first time that evening while she tried to work out why she was tied up in a rainbow and why a cat, yes she may have looked human but she was still a cat just kissed ******** YOU CAT b***h!" Was the first words that came to mind once her brain registered what had just happened. She wasn't about to tell anyone about this, though if the senshi kissed her, she might warn the others to keep away from her. A senshi that kissed? A cat that kissed? There was something so not right about all this.

Even with three disapproving cries, ********* pulled herself back with an airy giggle escaping her lips.
"My, my! I did not realize that everyone here was such a prude about who gets their kisses!" With a hop, skip, and jump back, the silver haired circus cat was soon enough back at Perseus' side. She didn't hesitate to lean in close to the girl's ear and whisper something rather important.
"My kisses have no effect, but your kisses are special, Perseus. I know it might be a lot for me to ask, but you need to trust me."
Though Sailor Iris was in about as much shock about the situation as Perseus and the redhead, she still held firmly onto the agent. Some thoughts were managing to filter through her thoughts.
********* was a lesbian cat.
Now it made sense why she was searching for girls.
And what the hell was the point in kissing the Negaverse agent?!
When finished with her personal words of encouragement for the dark-haired senshi, the cat girl then hopped over right next to Iris' side. The yellow-suited senshi shifted awkwardly away, which only encouraged ********* to drift in closer still. With another playful wink at the Negaverse lieutenant, she teasingly mentioned "Awwww, and here I thought you would have preferred that over my Special Surprise."

She felt that this was not the first time she would be told to blindly trust someone about something in this new world. It was not a prospect that she particularly enjoyed. Adira liked to be in control, she liked to know things, and she definitely did not like kissing strangers. Why was she kissing a mental patient anyways? Though, that being said, now that she was sailor-suited, something felt inherently different about the girl in front of her. There was a vibe going off in the back of her head that kept giving her the feeling that this redhead was something bad. Something was off about her in a magical sort of way. It felt like evil radar or something. She would trust the cat though. It was dumb. It was irrational. It was crazy. But so was everything else that had happened that night. Maybe kissing would help. She wasn't sure how, but just maybe. Stepping in towards the other girl, Sailor Perseus all but stopped breather. She held her breath as she leaned in and gave the girl a kiss on the cheek. She couldn't bare to kiss her on the mouth, that would just be way too forward. "Kiss of Illusion." She breathed it softly as she pulled away, compelled for some unknown reason.The words seemed to echo a bit as they left her mouth, giving it a strange sound. And nothing seemed to happen. At least, on their end it didn't. What the lieutenant was seeing, however, was a different matter entirely. As a precautionary measure, Sailor Perseus took a few steps back, feeling a little drained.

Sass was still ranting and raving about a cat kissing her when she felt someone kiss her on the cheek. Her arm was still covering her eyes which she cursed but then everything seemed a little odd.
She moved her arm away from her eye and managed to hit her head. She looked up confused, her arm wasn't near her head. Yet she had clearly hit herself. She looked at the two senshi and the cat who now seemed to be far away or really close or maybe a little bit of both.
If it wasn't for the ribbon holding her where she was she would have probably fell down as nothing was making sense. Things she knew were closer now weren't and vice versa. She was confused, so confused and everything wasn't making sense. What the hell had that senshi done to her? What the hell?

The simple slap of the Negaverse Lieutenant's arm against her head was sign enough that the attack worked. However, ********* was going to have to chastise Perseus later about a little something. That was later, this was now.
Rather suddenly, the circus girl leaped up towards Sailor Iris, which caused the blonde to jolt a bit, but as she'd soon realize, ********* went from girl back to a round tailless cat within a couple seconds.
"Oh crap!" Iris had to somewhat lean into her catch to make sure the cat didn't crash land on the ground.
"Alright, Iris, I want you to pull your ribbon back, hard enough to get this Lieutenant to spin around in circles. You do that, then we can escape together."
"Ungh... really?!" Obviously the yellow suited Scout did not approve of this plan. It was too peaceful. Not enough violence, not enough pummeling down the bad guys. "Yer plannin' f*ckin' sucks, cat!" Even if she didn't approve of the plan, Sailor Iris did as told, yanking the ribbon so when it released, it would hopefully spin the redhead around helplessly like a top.
"Perseus! Follow Iris!"
Apparently Iris was going to be leading the way. Since her attack was done, the yellow suited senshi merely opened up her hand which had the rainbow in it, and the rainbow was completely gone. Fortunately, there were street lights, so they weren't left in complete darkness, but it was a bit odd to adjust to the sudden change in light so quickly.
"Ya heard th'cat! Follow me!" Without hesitation, the senshi began to run.

She had just about as much clue as the negaverser did as to what exactly was going on. She'd kissed someone on the cheek, and now they were hitting themselves in the head? It was all very strange, really. Usually, she didn't like to leave things until they were absolutely finished, however it seemed that her explanation was fleeing the scene. It took her a split second to make the choice, running after the cat and rainbow senshi and leaving the stumbling negaverser behind. "Hey! Wait up! I want answers." It was not a question, it was a demand. This was getting to be the point of absurd. "What just happened? I want to know all of it." She was on a tirade now. It didn't look particularly like your normal rant, but there was a lot of pacing once the group had slowed down. Absentmindedly, she un-clipped the bracelet from her wrist and started contact juggling it around her right hand. It wasn't as good as a sphere, but it worked well enough to help her think. "If you are just going to thrust me into... whatever this is, then you had better explain to me why its worth my time!" Adira's time really was very important to her.

When the ribbon let Sass go she went to step forward and fell over, things weren't making sense to her and she stayed on the ground for a few minutes before her head started to clear and everything started to make sense again.
Was that the senshi's power?
Sass decided she liked being hit by balls of power more then rainbow ropes and kisses. These senshi were started to freak her out a bit. She looked up and noticed that the senshi's and the cat had gone.
"Damn it!" She cursed as she stood up and decided to head back to her dorm instead of chasing after them, she felt a headache coming on and she wasn't sure whether that was because of the weirdness of it all or the fact that she had hit herself on the head. Either way she was glad to be on her way home and bed would look so good!

It would have seemed as if Perseus was being ignored, but rather suddenly as they narrowly bolted out of an alleyway much further away, ********* voice commanded "STOP!"
"Yer such a bossy little runt, Cat!" Iris spun around and moved out of the way so Perseus wouldn't crash into her when she stopped. If there was one thing that was getting annoying, it was being ********* chauffeur. Another thing that had been a bit annoying while they ran was the new Senshi. Did she ever shut up? Either way, Iris leaned against a brick wall that formed the alleyway they just exited and just waited.
********* really couldn't reposition herself or anything, but her eyes easily focused in on the dark-haired senshi's face. "Lesson 1. When retreating from a battle, try to be more graceful about it. If it wasn't for the fact your enemy was disoriented, she could have easily followed us because you were asking so many questions. Voice is easy enough to follow at night. If you have questions, wait until we stop and are out of harm's way." This was just a fact. The cat didn't really make it sound like scolding, though that was really what it should have been.
"Now, about your attack."
Oh, this was probably the moment Perseus was waiting for.
"You should have kissed her on the lips, it is more powerful that way. Your kisses in this form should have no meaning, and you need to get that into your head right now. It will save your life one day if you remember this." There was a pause, but it was strictly due to ********* starting to lick at her good forepaw. When she was finished, she added more information. "You are Sailor Perseus, Senshi of Illusion. When you kiss someone in this form, you distort your opponent's perspective. Things that are far are close, and things that are close are far. Your job is to disorient your opponent, then either you or your teammate will finish the job."
"She doesn't look like she's ever had t'fight a day in 'er life." ********* could butter a Sailor Scout up all she wanted, but Iris didn't have to buy into it. In fact, looking the girl up and down, the tomboy could already tell that in a street brawl, this girl was already a liability, with the long bow and long edges to her "sailor collar." That combined with the fact this girl had to get in close to affect her opponent meant one thing. Impracticality.
"Just shut up, Iris."
"F*ck off, Cat!"
With a sigh, the manx then asked a question. "Alright, let me hear what you think just happened? Think back to what happened before we got there when you consider your answer."

Adira Perses did not like being lectured. Apparently, she still didn't like being lectured as Sailor Perseus. The senshi put her hands on her hips and raised a critical eyebrow towards the cat, not saying anything until she was finished talking. Her posture throughout the entire thing remained stiff and impassive, a bit like looking at a painted stone statue. Her eyes flicked quickly to Iris when she talked, but she would talk to her later. "Firstly..." She stopped to gather her thoughts. If she had to wait for the cats impulses, she could wait for hers. "You had no right." It was a blank statement, and she stared at the cat, for the moment ignoring its steed. "Of course I have questions. You come out of nowhere, shoving me into this, this uniform and tell me that I am to fight? What am I fighting? What is the goal of this little magic trick? Also, my lips are my own and I will choose to use them when I wish to." Her voice was calm and cool, clipped in a business tone that the girl was used to taking. It made sense now, at least. The other girls reaction was because of whatever weird reaction her lips gave off. Weird. She turned her attention to Iris, Silver blue eyes boring into the senshi's across from her. "And you need to realize that not all fighting is done with fists." She could have expounded, but she felt at this point anything beyond the initial statement would be lost. She had a feeling that if Sailor Iris ever tried to win a fight without physical interaction, she would be a poor opponent indeed. "What I think just happened is that I got shoved into a terrorists uniform with no explanation and no chance to refuse. I also think that whatever that girl was, it did not include the words 'admitted psychiatric patient'. She may have been crazy, but she was coherent at the least." Her eyes narrowed at the little ball of fur in the senshi's arms. "I want answers, now. From the beginning." She would formulate more opinions later. A good lawyer never built a case without all of the facts.

Yes, ********* had just been scolded.
Her ears twitched slightly, but otherwise, there was no sense of regret that came from her. She listened, like a good cat would, pale green eyes fixed on the girl's pale blue ones. If anything, the words were obviously not just flying over her head.
Iris had shuffled to move, as if she was going to show little miss "I am better than you" just how much she could get away with not using her fists for fighting, but ********* quickly prevented it by digging her claws into the gloved arm holding her. Last thing the guardian cat needed was the head of a new Senshi rolling around on the ground.
Iris had never been known to keep her cool for very long.
"That girl was going to kill you, Perseus." ********* tone was calm, and she left a rather long pause there to let this fact sink in. Within this moment of silence, the cat's hind foot began to scratch behind her ear awkwardly, causing a slight jingle to break the actual silence.
"She would have taken your starseed... your very soul essentially, and you would have been left for dead. I somewhat imagine you like living."
Sailor Iris let out a sarcastic laugh at that point, since half the time she wished she wasn't in this Senshi business as well.
"...to get to your specific questions. You fight the Negaverse. That girl was a Lieutenant for the Negaverse. There are monsters all over the city called Youma, and they were created by the Negaverse. The goal of the 'little magic tricks' ...I do not know which one you specifically refer to, is to keep the city safe from the Negaverse and their Youma. Almost all of those comatose patients in the hospital are results of a Negaverse attack. I obviously can't force you to use your lips one way or another, but the sooner you come to terms with the fact your lips are a weapon in a sense, the sooner you can really start doing good in this city."
It was a rarity for Iris to say anything to agree with the guardian cat that was in her arms, but as she shifted her arms slightly underneath the pale feline, she mentioned "...th'very least, ya should be grateful she's takin' th'time t'tell ya this sh*t. When I got pulled inta this crap, I was left high and dry, didn't know what th'f*ck I was supposed t'do. This cat 'ere is a ray of f*ckin' sunshine compared t'the one that turned me inta this." It wasn't a buttery "I love you so much" tone, but more a plainly stated fact. Even though Iris hated all cats, ********* was on the more tolerable end of hate than Astraea.
Even in the midst of such a serious conversation, the tailless cat found a reason to laugh. A humored giggle escaped her, and she bumped her head against Iris' arm. "I will be sure to let Astraea know what you really think of her!"

They could rip someones soul out of their body? That seemed like a power that humans should not have. It was the kind of thing you read in ancient Egyptian fairy tales, the god Anubis punishing those who did not respect him and his domain. Ancient Greeks had similar stories of Hades. But modern day humans? Seemed the entire world had turned into some twisted fair tale. "So the terrorists on the news aren't the real terrorists then? These elusive Lieutenant's are?" Apparently, they were better at hiding from cameras then. Or, more disturbingly, they had people on the inside to spin the videos. It was an interesting new take on things, at the very least. The girl couldn't help but crack a smile. "My lips are a weapon." It was ridiculous. The statement was just that, a statement. She sounded amused. The senshi provided more insight though, which she was reluctantly thankful for. She would prove to Sailor Iris just how good she could be, and then someday? Someday she was going to beat her in a fight. And then she would see. "So there are more magical cats then?" It was an interesting idea. The world was crazy, clearly, but she had to live in it and she might as well make due. "Why me? Why was I picked to do this?" To have these powers, this name? Its all she could really wrap her brain around- why, why WHY?

"Looks like you got it, Perseus!" The spotted cat had seen a mixed bag in her time when it came to dealing with Sailor Senshi. Some picked up quickly on certain details, and some were less than cooperative. Perseus might have been reluctant, but when given the facts, she seemed rather able.
There were still a few questions, and *********, as usual, was willing to answer as best as she could. "Yes, there are other cats out there. Guardians, we like to be called... not cat..." Obviously this was directed to her momentary steed.
"Yer still jus' a cat t'me..."
With a shake of her head and a sigh, she then went to the ever famous question. "Why not?" With a big smile, she laughed in a rather carefree fashion before seriously attempting the question. "You were born with this potential. Every Sailor Scout was born with the potential they have. It isn't something a cat gets to pick. It was there to begin with. All I did was help wake that part of you up."
Despite the answer being an honest, meaningful piece, the yellow-suited senshi had to point out her opinion again. "Ya sound so damned corny, cat."
"*********," the feline attempted to correct.
"Cat!"

"So why can you be a human too? Is that like your senshi form?" Guardian cats, while weird, kind've made sense. Protective animals and whatnot. But Perseus didn't get the logic behind having them be human. If they could be at least partially human, than why didn't they take that shape all the time? It seemed like it would be easier. "*********, what is the reason behind all of this? Why is this fight happening?" There had to be one. People didn't just break down into killing and fighting for- oh, wait. Yes, people did that every day. People were flawed and violent. But usually people had an excuse as well, and Perseus was curious.

"Yeah cat... kinda curious 'bout that one too..." Iris kicked one leg up behind her, shifting her weight slightly against the wall she was leaning against. Why the hell wouldn't the cats be people if they had the choice? It made no sense, especially since a certain cat could wander around without the assistance of a certain Senshi of Rainbows.
"Dunno!"
It was an honest answer at least. "I just know I can't be like that too much. When I am like this, I am incognito. When I am as I was earlier, it makes it much easier for the Negaverse to sense me. And I don't really want them catching me." Despite keeping such a cheerful tone, the cat's fur puffed up slightly. Obviously this was not a very fond subject for the Guardian cat.
"Eeesh... calm down, furball!" The blonde didn't do anything to help with the "calming down" factor, as most cat people might have. In all honesty, the Senshi of Rainbows was tempted to flick the manx's head to snap her out of it.
Even with her fur still on end, the cat still attempted to make her way through the new Senshi's questions. "There is an evil... a selfish woman who is trying to claim this planet as her own. She is trying to force the world to be hers through force. She is the one who is in charge of the Negaverse."
