Went to 8 o'clock mass this morning (my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary), and I have to say, the absolute worst part about church is GETTING UP EARLY.
After that it's the patronizing priest and nasal singers. But that might be a localized complaint. I come from a small town where stepping one toe out of line is call for severe judgment and dislike. And that's from my grandmother.

I would have enjoyed Church more if it was more active and hyper like black churches. Every time I ever went, I would just nod off.

Perhaps you are investing more meaning in this term than it actually has.

I hate everything about church. To pick my top grievance, I would have to go with watching indoctrination. Watching them wall off the minds of the young when they have so much potential is evil.
The discrimination is a close second. I really hated going to church. Church folk are supposed to be there for you and support you, no matter what. It's supposed to be a community that's there for one another. My church was no such thing. I was better off with the bullies at school than the bullies at church.
Hatred of science is pretty high on that list, too. You know, I'd better stop before I get into a rant.
