[Wolf smiled happily and bounced around the big white cat. She loved meeting new cats, and even though this cat seemed scary,
he was being nice to her. She recalled what her brother told her to say every time she met someone new.]

"I am Wolf, hear me roar!" she said as menacingly as her little kit voice could allow.

[She tried to roar, but it ended up sounding like a loud, squeaky meow.]

[Wolf's eyes lit up in excitement as the cat gave her a compliment. She used to not like her name because wolves scared her, but now, she accepted that it wasn't so bad.]

"Okay!" she said brightly.

[Shethen hissed and snarled at an imaginary cat, batting at it with claws sheathed. She didn't sound very menacing or scary, just like a cute little kit playing pretend.]

[Wolf bounced around excitedly, not knowing what to do with herself. She swayed her tail happily as she sat next to the cat.]

"What was your name again?" she asked curiously. "Isn't there anyone else around?"

[Wolf felt a shudder down her spine as he said his name. Bones. The very thought set her fur standing. But she tried to shake it off as
she noticed how fluffy he was. She gave into her earlier desire to feel his fur, and proceeded to rub her tiny head under
his chin, having to go on her tiptoes to reach him.]

"Why not, Mr. Bones?" she squeaked curiously.

[Wolf laid down next to him, purring softly and happily at the discovery of a new friend. But she couldn't help but still be curious about the other cats here. She wanted more friends like Bones!]

"But you'd protect me, won't you Mr. Bones?" she squeaked innocently, looking at him with wide violet eyes.

~A figure loomed through the dark covering of trees, agile and quick. Was it her dreams that had brought her here....again? The she-cat was remarkably unsure of how she could end up in such a place so suddenly, without any notice at all. The thing that unnerved her the most was the way that the shadowy trees seemed to beckon to her, that they seemed to welcome her like every other dark thing. Stormsong knew that she did not want to end up here when she died with every cell of her mind that was still sane. Her ice blue gaze swept across the dark atmosphere, almost emotionless, except for that disturbed-looking part that it always seemed to carry. With the lash of her tail, she tried to run away, but just....couldn't. Everywhere that Stormsong turned was yet another dark tree blocking out her escape. She could hear the voices of deceased cats calling to her, trying to guide her. Stormsong would not let them. A small shudder passed along the she-cat's figure, one that she tried to surpress but failed. Her eyes glared out into the distance. If this was some nightmare, then Stormsong wanted it to end. It was making her feel as if she were dead, even though she was fully alive.~
