Give me the spotty BBY~
Username: Risika Sifiris
Soquili Name: Male – Invictus; Female – Astrid
Number of Soquili Owned: None
Why do you want this basket?: Because the chemistry between Razi and Millicent is simply adorable, and having a soquili to cherish and channel the inner sarcasm would be a bonus smile
What would your future plots be for this basket?: I'd like him or her to be a generally laidback, lazy Razi number two, with his sarcasm, love for bets and search for amusement. While not precisely failing in the flirting department, his home experiences have not exactly been the perfect guidance, hence he/she would not be the best at it. That is not say that he/she is not competitive, when goaded or in areas of interest, he/she would definitely give it his/her all. Unfortunately, and to Millicent’s disappointment, running is NOT included.
Will you be around shop?: Been lurking around for some time, but is currently trying to open up and appear more stare
Will you RP this basket?: Haven’t really done this before, but I will try :’D
Prompt: 3 - For this, I'm assuming the soquili is male XD
RP Response: His had never been a run-of-the-mill childhood. Since the time of his foal-hood, his parents had been going at each other with verbal daggers drawn, having perfected it to an art. Their chemistry could be compared to firecrackers; put them together for an extended period of time and the sparks – and torrent of insulting words went flying. Hardly a day went by without there being something to nitpick about, whether it was about each other, or about events happening around them. He had been concerned at first, when he was younger, but as he grew he saw that they had a healthy dose of give and take, and it was best to leave them alone and sit back, relax and enjoy the show or face the consequences of transferred wrath.
Being the middle foal and having colourings the most similar to his mother, he had arguably been her favourite foal until she realized that while he had the talent for running, he was undeniably lazy, had close to zero interest in running and had inherited his father’s smart mouth to boot. As a result, their relationship was one of “let sleeping dogs lie”, where he participated in her tough training regimes and she left him to his own devices once he had satisfactorily accomplished her tasks for the day. It wasn’t that their relationship lacked love; it just came in smaller, different packages than the usual shower.
He came home one day after meeting his friend to the common scene of his parents bickering, with the occasional “flamgay” thrown out. His siblings, while being more similar to their father in the looks department, had quite ironically gotten more than the expected half of Millicent’s gene pool. In short, they were competitive mummy’s children who trained diligently to gain her respect. Noticing them standing at the side smirking, he decided they were up to something and trotted over, tossing his head while inquiring, “I can practically smell the fun rolling off your hides. What mischief are you up to?”
His siblings looked at each other and gave him a coy smile before the younger one blurted out, “We’re having a dare to see who can go up to mother and father and tell them we’re gay. Winner gets our secret stash of berries!” He tilted his head and regarded them, considering it. It was obvious that they were baiting him, knowing that he out of the entire family had a particular fondness for berries. Deciding it wasn’t worth the trouble, he snorted and went “No can do. Too troublesome for just some regular old berries and some entertainment.”
His elder sibling shot him a pointed look and offered “Double the berries then, with the super rare strawberry thrown in. What, or are you too chicken to do it?” That did it. Nobody accused him of being too scared to do anything! Turning his back on them, he shot back, “Ha! We’ll see who’s the chicken when I’m enjoying my berries, cowards!!”
He was back within minutes with his friend, having bribed the older stallion with the offer of one third of the spoils. Since he was going to do this, he would achieve it to the best of his ability. Leading the way, he adopted a flamboyant swagger and trotted up to his still-arguing parents, waiting until they turned their attention to him. He watched as his mother’s gaze travelled up and down his friend’s overly bright, prominent coat in distaste and a little grimace. Clearing his throat, he stated mildly, “Mother, Father, I have an announcement to make.” Pausing for dramatic effect, he continued, “It is with great pleasure that I would like to inform you that I have discovered the joys of being gay. Please meet my beloved. ” Sneaking a peek at his parents’ speechless, shocked faces, he ended the speech by leaning ever so delicately into his friend, nuzzling him affectionately.

Give me the spotty BBY~ Username: The Adorable Panda Soquili Name: Male - Ashton, Female - Elisia Number of Soquili Owned: Rose, RhinaWhy do you want this basket?: Because I always loved Razi's markings and his relationship with Millicent. And that in-thread interaction with Razi and Rose was funny :] What would your future plots be for this basket? Duh! <3 Will you be around shop?: I pop in every now and then but get lost in the pages most of the time haha Will you RP this basket?: If anyone RP's with me. I mean I will try to get him/her some RP <3 Prompt: 2 RP Response: Why does mommy have to be so harsh? though Ashton as he stared forlornly at the dirt. He stretched out a hoof and started carving swirls into the earth. Sighing heavily, he recounted what happened earlier that day. Let's see, Mom wanted to see how fast he could run.. Well unfortunately that was very fast at all. Snail's pace, really. The stamina of a sloth, he had. A rock could move faster than him. Maybe he was exaggerating just a little bit, but that's how he felt. Slower than Molassas in July. With his head drooping low, he closed his eyes, remembering how he fell pathetically to the earth, just before the finish line. He could still taste the dirt in his mouth... How come he couldn't run fast like his mother? It would please her so much! And that's all he wanted, to make her happy. Instead, he wasn't good at anything. No talents to impress his mother..Ashton continued to etch scribbles into the floor, now pawing at it with greater force. He was angry. At his mother for pushing himself to hard, but more so at himself, for being a failure. There had to be something he was good at... Stepping back, he took a good look at the floor, now torn apart by his hooves. But it seemed..interesting. He followed the lines, their connections..It was..A rendition of his mother. It wasn't perfect, but it was a pretty good drawing of her. And with practice he could make it better! Feeling his heart lift, he bounced in place, unable to keep still from the excitement. Little Ashton ran off to find his mother and show her his first masterpiece.

Give me the spotty BBY~ Username: Pollack Soquili Name: If female Na'ila. (Means winner in Arabic.) If male Enzo (Also means winner, But in Italian.) Number of Soquili Owned: 1.5 Cult. Fully owned. Eyota. Co-owned.Why do you want this basket?: Because I loooooveee Razi and Milli. <3 I always have. And to have one of their babies? Eeee! Would just tickle me pink. Plus it would be a great chance for me to go outside the box with this little one. 8D What would your future plots be for this basket? Well this little one is gonna be more like it's momma. It'll be an adrenaline junkie! Always pushing things to the edge trying to get another high. This also means it loves pissing people off since it learn from early on that pissed off people are most likely to attack, Which is most likely to get it's heart going an adrenaline going. And who is a better teacher at this then Razi? So this little boy or girl will be a daddies boy or girl through and through! It learned all it's best tricks after him! 8D A future plot I could see is the baby breaks away from Razi and Milli. It finds a full grown kalona and bugs it until attacking. He or she will learn that kalonas are so easy to piss off when you are not a kalona. There for the foal will learn to love kalonas this could maybe get it hurt? This could be a great family roleplay for Razi and Milli both working together to help their hurt kid. Another plot I have in mind is that either with one of it's siblings or another competitive that it will have a "Enemy" Of some sorts. They will always be trying to do better then the other through out their whole lives. Another idea of mine is that the foal won't be on the best terms with it's mother. (Like down below.) It doesn't like her training. And because of this the foal will become the black sheep. I think this will be some fun roleplays to have mom and child fight each other through out childhood and through most of adulthood. Then maybe later down the road the two can forgive and learn how to stand one a other? And a looot others if I win! Will you be around shop?: Aren't I always? 8D Even if I'm not there talking I'm lurking. So yes. Will you RP this basket?: HEEELLLL YEAAA! <3 Prompt: 02! RP Response: (I'm gonna say the foal is female.)
Another day, Another day of hard training and scolding from momma. Na'ila didn't really understand what was the big deal with running, sure it was cool at first but DAMN! After a whole life of it Na'lia wondered how momma could stand the thought of it. Her tiny bronze legs shook with exhaustion. She was so tired! Momma had run her so hard today. Scolded her even harder then the rest. She was the black sheep of the group, unlike her siblings Na'ila didn't want to run! Even if it pissed her mother off to no end she just wanted to take chances, live on the edge! Be wild and free! Daddy was the one who understood her best, And even he didn't get why she felt the need to go jumping off of cliffs. Her heart ached at the thought wanting to go and do it so badly, just one jump and she was done! The little filly was going through withdrawals she could tell, her body was shaking and felt hot with the need to feel her heart pumping. All day she hadn't been able to piss of her mom and make her run after her all day, mother had learned all the tricks the little junkie had up her sleeve. She even had learned how to block her out! It just wasn't fair.
Shaking Na'ila cuddled up to her papa's bright side. Oh if she couldn't go jumping then Na'lia wanted to do the second best thing, she just wanted to spend a little time with her dearest daddy! Maybe he could teach her more "Trigger words." But the little filly's body had another idea. And slowly no matter how hard she fought it her eyes closed and her mind shut off into dreamland.
"FLAMEGAY! Get that little brat up! We have training!" It was the first words that the bronze filly heard in her half dazed sleep. Mamma poking her a few minutes before had already woken her up. But Na'ila didn't feel like having training today, she wanted to sleep some more then have a lazy day for once. "I'll...Make it up tomorrow momma... Wanna sleep." The young filly mutter out before rolling over onto her side and snugging closer to her sleeping daddy's side. The only thing that Na'ila could guess is that momma's yelling had woken up daddy because the next thing she heard was the angry booming voice of her father. "Shut the ******** up. God, Is all you do is nag?" Her ears flicked up at the words, as her eyes shot open. Ohhhh. Even Na'ila knew her momma wasn't gonna take s**t like that! No way. She would fight back, then daddy would piss her off again. And so the first fight of the day would start. "Then why did you make me have ******** children with you if all you think I do is nag!?" Na'ila whimpered when she felt a hoof come between her and daddy it dragged her back to the body it belonged to. It must have amused Razi to watch the two because unlike normally where he would keep going he shut up. When her back hit the tense powerful leg of her momma Na'ila looked up. "Hi momma...." She whimpered out softly. She was in trouble, again. Now Millicent was sure to go super hard on her why training. Millicent glared down at the filly before taking her foot off of her. s**t. Na'ila was already on her last straw and she just woke up! "Get up you brat."
She didn't even know why but on that day Na'ila felt like stretching out her legs in fighting. She was sick of her momma bullying her around all the time! Na'ila sat up on her butt preparing herself mentally in her mind. She puffed out her tiny bronze chest trying to look bigger before letting out a loud firm cry of "No!" It was a simple two letter word but hearing it brought out the most angry look to Millicent's face. It sent a cold chill down Na'ila spine, but still the brave little filly stood strong to her mother. "No? NO!? YOU CAN'- UH! Forget it! God you are just like your lazy a** father! GET YOUR a** UP!" Thats when Millicent went behind the filly and pushed her roughly on her back to get her up. It did push the filly up for a split second but then she fell right back on her butt. "I said no! I'm not doing anymore of your STUPID training!" She yelled back. Oh yes her mother's blood did run deep in her. Na'ila could hear her father snickering to himself in the back round, He finally piped up about the whole thing. Pushing even more of Millicent's buttons, Like he always did. "Whats wrong plain jane? Can't handle one little filly?" Razi's tone was laced with sarcasm. Millicent glared over her lean shoulder, The fire in her eyes could match that of one of the worst wildfires. "Shut the ******** up! I can very well handle one filly." Once again the strong mare pushed roughly on the filly this time when she pushed her up used her nose to keep her up. "You. Are. Going. To. Training! Or I swear I will disown you!" Na'ila felt cornered, There was no way she was going to go back to training but...She did want to be disowned! But momma wouldn't really disown her? Nah... Daddy wouldn't let her! Daddy loved her, And momma in her own weird way loved her too. With a wave of boldness washing over her Na'ila started flailing around. Bucking once she hit her momma right in the cheek with her back hoof. Millicent roared in pain. She brought her nose up quickly, Sending Na'ila who was still on her nose into a flip she landed face first in the dirt. "YOU LITTLE b***h! I gave you life and you repay me like this!? ******** you! I'm not taking care of your little a** anymore." Her momma screamed. Na'ila could feel a huge headache from the pitch of her momma's voice. She knew she'd done it now, Na'ila went too far with this whole thing. Scared she quickly scurried up and ran over to her father, Trying her best to hide behind him. Really she didn't mean to hurt momma! She just wanted to get off of her nose! "You aren't a child of mine! You are a little demon from hell!" And that was the last thing Millicent screamed before she stormed off. Na'ila saw her siblings that were hiding behind a bush come out and follow their mother. Na'ila felt sorry for them, Mother would take out her anger on them and train them super hard. She would have to find a way to make it up to them somehow.
A sob made it's way from the filly's lips as she looked up to her daddy's face. "I messed up big, Didn't I?" She asked in a shaky voice, Fear was clear in her voice as she spoke. Razi must have heard it because he sighed before gently nuzzling the filly under her chin. "Yes. But your mother will get over it. She's a hot head, Even you kids know that." Na'ila nodded softly. She didn't want to tell her daddy that even if her momma was a hot head, She had this sinking feeling that she really messed up things with her momma... And that things weren't gonna be the same again. She feared that momma's training was gonna be the last thing she was gonna worry about.

Give me the spotty BBY~ Username: Dragain Soquili Name: Kemp (meaning "warrior, champion, athlete" in Old English) | I might change the name if it turns out to be female since I'm not 100% satisfied with "Kemp" as a female name. Number of Soquili Owned: 6 (3 Regs - 1 co-owned and 3 Usdias - 1 co-owned) | Here are my darlings. (: Why do you want this basket?: Well, when I first saw them entered together back around the most recent hiring event, I thought that they were a last-minute-for-a-breeding-raffle couple and felt a little upset since I had friends in that raffle with couples who had been trying for months. xD Anyway, when I later realized that effort was actually put into this breeding, I felt a little ashamed for having jumped into the wrong conclusion. In fact, I think their interaction is quite entertaining to watch! Plus, I have enough of playing the good, sweet Soq and wish to challenge my own RPing skills~ What would your future plots be for this basket? Lol, surely something linked to his/her personality, but I'm not quite sure yet. >.> Things work better when I've played a character several times and had developed a muse in my head for that character. HOWEVER, I do have a few ideas; please read my RP response before reading this part or you will be confused since I did it in that order. xD
Great Expectations || Training under his/her mother, he/she did well. When he/she was young, all he/she wanted was to please his/her parents - however, as he/she grew older, all he/she wanted to please was himself/herself. Of course, he/she would still train under his/her mother to get that well-toned body and keep fit, but he/she had no plans of becoming a racer of any sort. He/she would confront Milli about it as a young adult and tell her about his/her own dream - to be the greatest player/pimp the world has ever seen. How will Milli (and Razi) react? Dundundun...! Giddy-up! || Kemp has a serious gambling addiction, and because he/she had always won, he/she is convinced that he'll never lose. So when he/she is challenged to a race, he/she accepted with the condition that the loser would be the winner's slave for a week (aka making it a bet)... And lo and behold, he/she loses for the very first time. Honeyed words || Kemp is a flirt, a player and knows what the opposite gender wants. Although not drop-dead gorgeous, he/she is smart and charismatic. However, all that playing around eventually cause Kemp to pretend to be gay to get some of the more persistent "toys" to leave him/her alone... And for a bit of entertainment. What a tangled web we weave! || Life goes on, but he/she accidentally got (someone) pregnant; although not wishing to be a parent (and due to lack of role models as a foal), Kemp would volunteer to keep the children (he/she will keep at least one, if the other wants the baskets too) since they are his flesh and blood. However, he/she would by no means be your ordinary parent - he/she would teach the kids how to be a player and pretend to be that perfect stallion/mare. Oops, I did it again! || Another pregnancy; since he/she had fun with "raising" foals, he/she is more than willing to assume responsibility. However, the mare/stallion refuses to let go and wants to assume responsibility too... By being his/her lifemate! Since lifemating is like a death sentence to Kemp, he/she will come up with his/her greatest story yet... Co-staring his/her child(ren) from the previous breeding. I will RP both parent and offspring if the owner(s) of his other children do not wish to participate. xD Will you be around shop?: Always had been, always will be. |D Will you RP this basket?: Of course! xD Prompt: 3 - Also playing offspring as a male; if offspring turns out to be female, she'll be more of a whore, but by no means a stupid one. RP Response: Spring morning - clear skies, slight breeze, singing birds and... Quarreling parents.
The loud remarks and scary faces his parents made at each other would have frightened him... If this had happened when he was a newborn. However, Kemp had long acknowledged and accepted the unusual relationship between his parents. In fact, he would probably only worry if he wakes up one day to peace and tranquility! He couldn't help grinning at the thought as he yawned, unfolding his legs from beneath him as he stood up. After stretching his limbs, the young stallion made his way towards his parents; there was a bet he had to win. As he passed by the two adults, he flashed them a smile as he chirped, a little too happily, "Good morning, mom, pops~"
It started a week ago; during one of his parents' usual battering, his siblings had dared him to do something... No, bet for him to be unable to do something. They knew his weakness, after all, that he would never, ever be able to resist a gamble - good or bad, small or big, risky or not. He might never admit it outwardly, but deep in his heart, Kemp knew it; he was absolutely addicted to gambling. The moment someone uses the words "I bet you-" on him, a new game would start! Maybe his mother's harsh training and constant nagging when he was younger had something to do with it, but he had never lost a bet... Or rather, he would do anything to win a bet.
"So, I met this amazing Soquili a week ago - brains, speed, body. Whoa, this Soquili has it all! So different from all the ladies I've met - and picked up - so far... In more ways than one." He ignored the urge to grin, instead, chose to shake his head in disbelief, before looking up at his parents again, "Every time we meet, my heart would thump in my chest so much, it would hurt - I asked around, and the ladies told me that it was love... So! I have decided to change from my flirtatious ways! I will no longer be a player... In fact, I think I shall ask him to come home with me tonight!"
He paused, resisting the urge to laugh at the look on his parents' face - for once in his life, not a single word from either one of them! He had never really felt love from either one of them or felt that his parents loved each other, but to hear that they produced a homosexual child together? It must be quite a shocker to this pair of unconventional parents! Besides, the young stallion knew that the opposite of love is not hate - it is indifference. Although his parents might not love him, they are by no means indifferent towards him... This would be fun.
"He is the most amazing stallion ever!" He continued, giggling like a little girl as his parents watched on - he could still see that they were doubtful, and that would not do! Giving a wistful sigh, Kemp continued with a dreamy look in his eyes, "I can't wait to bring him home and for us to be official mates! I know its only been one week, but he makes me feel so alive! I'm sure he's good to... You know, cuddle up to at night as well."
His bet with his siblings was that he would be able to convince his parents that he's gay - it was a childish, immature and stupid bet... But a bet nonetheless. Being a rather notorious player among the ladies, they decided that it would be impossible. However, Kemp was confident that he would be able to pull it off - after all, to get a girl, he could fabricate stories so fantastic, nobody could ever poke a hole in it! Compared to whispering sweet nothings to various types of girls while playing the 'perfect guy', what's lying to his parents? Thus, for the past week, he had been giggling excessively in front of his parents, making sure not to bring home any girls like he normally would and looking like the world was made of rainbows and flowers.
"Anyway, I now realize why I was a player... Only a male could satisfy this love-shaped hole in my heart, and this hole somewhere else, I might add!" He exclaimed suggestively as he giggled again, winking at his parents, "Anyway, I'll let you meet him tonight! I'm sure he'll be happy that I've finally came to terms with my own feelings!" With that, the young stallion ignored his parents' shouts while prancing away quickly, a smirk tugging at the edges of his lips.
He had so nailed that bet.

Give me the spotty BBY~ Username: Bardess Ookami Soquili Name: 'Lan'dara if female 'Lan'Dro if male. Number of Soquili Owned: [Please link them if you can~ A teepee or sig will do fine] Pachu'aWhy do you want this basket?:I would love a chance to join this family and rp with them. I have tried talking in the shop thread several times, and honestly find myself intimidated. Having people who are in the shop that I have a right to talk to, that I can rp with might help me finally get more then a toe in the door. Plus the personalities of the parents make me feel that the rp would be quite fun indeed. What would your future plots be for this basket? A lot would depend on how the family rp goes, as I believe that should shape her more then anything else, but without that, to go from what I know of the parents, and the prompt response, I think she will be a little like both parents, even as she tries to be different from them. She would try not to be competitive, but she would be in her heart. She would try to be very picky with who she picks on and teases, but without (possibly) realizing that her father is selective as well. Will you be around shop?: I certainly hope so! Will you RP this basket?: I would love to! Prompt: 2 RP Response: 'Lan'dara knew that she was a disappointment to her parents. She knew that it should bother her, bit it didn't. It was hard to be bothered by it when she did it intentionally. She knew her mother wanted her to be the best at something, anything, and cries when she was younger that she just wanted to have fun fell on deaf ears. So she had seemed to relent, to pick something to strive to be the best at. A wicked grin flirted with her mouth as she remembered her bold declaration. "Fine, I have to be the best at something? Fine, I will be the best at having fun!" And she had done it just to tick off her folks. Maybe her mother would loosen up, maybe her father would stop provoking their mother so she could. So she was the best at having fun, or so she claimed. She'd run a race and stop just shy of the finish line, to go and inspect a flower off to the side. Whatever the contest, she'd work hard to get right up to her goal and then just... wander off. She did want to find something real to be the best at though. She did. But not because she wanted to put all others in the dirt, but because she wanted a reason to be proud of herself, and though she'd never admit it, she wanted her parents to be proud of her too. However, she still hadn't found her one best thing, her passion. So she continued to play the buffoon. There was so much less pressure when no one had any expectations....

Why do you want this basket?: I'm so into the family's story, it amuses me XD (as lee saw with my continuation of 'Hush little baby'). I would love to be apart of it. I also loves the riri and the lee x3 hehe. What would your future plots be for this basket? I wanna be the very best, DUN NUN NUN Like no one ever was. DUN NUN NUN To catch beat them is my real test, To train them kick their a** is my cause! DUN NUN NUN
......*coughs* sorry, got caught up in the moment there... Tori would be proud to wear the dulled-out colorations of her mother, instead of the flashy colors of his/her father and siblings. She/He'll do whatever it takes to be #1 at everything, just like her/his mother. His/her attitude would be very win/win, abit snarky. If she/he loses to something, she/he doesn't sulk but accepts the defeat and will try again until victorious.Being the best is how momma raised her. She/he will not be a quitter in any way. Quitters are for horses like her/his father, who she/he pretty much dejects. Tori thinks who the hell bets offspring? Is her father that much of a loser that he had to bet a mare to carry his young? Ugh! But momma had lost fair and square, and Tori is proud of her for keeping her end of the bet. Will you be around shop?: Yup! Will you RP this basket?: Yessum! Prompt: 3 RP Response: The squawking of anger soon filled the air, as the sky momentarily darkened as a flock of nesting birds took wing. Their peace had been disturbed by the rolling rumble of a couple arguing within the brush. Arguing was nothing new between this couple as the female insured her voice was dominiate in this conversation, in both volume and her choice of words. The golden female, a new mother of 3, was once again giving her bright orange counterpart, the new father of these same 3, a good ol' fashioned tongue lashing. He deserved it, for his ungodly bright markings that had infected 2 of the 3 foals. The young filly sighed in annoyance, as her vivid blue eyes followed the living cloud of angry birds into the air. How she wished she could just up and fly away from this thing she was forced to call a family. Where was the family part in all this? Momma and Flamgay were always fighting, and her two siblings were to bright to look at, let alone play with.
Tori was lucky and thankful to the heavens that she had inherited most of her mother's beautiful golden coat. Her two brothers had gained the bright orange coats of their dad. The one who's coat was mostly black and orange could be tolerated, his coat a little easier on the eyes (but not by much) then the second orange and white brother. Tori stuck her tongue out in disgust and focused herself back toward the clearing, rather then daydreaming. Winners didn't daydream, winners did what they wanted and made sure they were the best at it.
A flash of bright orange and white, standing out against the dark green foliage, caught the filly's eye and she rolled them but she stayed in her position, pretending to see nothing. Her stupid brother was trying to outdo her yet again, but his brain cells hadn't quite picked up on that he could not camouflage. Hide and Seek was a real snore fest because of this reason. 3...2......1 Tori thought to herself, quickly jumping out of the way as her brother came flying out of the bushes to tackle her. He missed, a frown forming on his face. "You'll never get me." Tori hissed at him, with a hint of cockiness in her voice. " You stand out to much like Flamgay. Compare it to trying to hide the sun at night." Her brother growled at her and replied, " Well, I can't give up. You looked like you were pretty deep into dreamer's land watching those birds. I'll get you one day." Tori growled and stomped her hoof against the dirt. " You'll never get me, but try all you want. You just making a fool out of yourself."
Her eyes flickered again to the bushes, as her other brother came walking out toward them both and taking stand next to the other male. " Ugh, it's painful to look at just one of you...let alone when you both sit so close..." The golden filly averted her eyes into the treetops, hoping that maybe if she didn't stare directly at them she would get to keep her sight. One little ear pivoted toward the sound of her brothers whispering but she couldn't make it out. " Hey! Don't share secrets without me!" She hissed at them, again stomping her hoof but still looking away from them. " Shut up!" Her black and orange brother grumbled at her, and then a wide grin lit up his face. " We have an dare for you, sister. It'll make momma and poppa stop fighting."
A dare? Her brother sure knew how to get to her. She slowly moved her eyes over toward them, raising one eyebrow and stepping closer. "What kind of dare? And what's in it for me if I do it?" Tori was interested, it sure would make the day go by faster. Both her brothers were grinning now, making her more eager. They exchanged glances and giggles, causing Tori to grumble, " Well! Spit it out!" Another glance and more giggles, finally one of her brothers spoke up. " We want you to go tell momma and poppa your gay ! And they have to believe it too! If you do it, we'll leave you alone for a whole 2 days."
Thought entered Tori's mind as she considered the dare. She couldn't go back on it now, and 2 days free of her brothers would give her time to rest her eyes and have time to think to herself. Practice at racing or find some other, less vibrant, foals to best. She grinned and nodded. "Fine! I'll do it. But 2 whole days, you can't talk to me or nothing! I don't want to see you!" Her two brothers snickered and nodded in agreement, before the three of them followed the thunder of voices that were their parents.
Tori entered the clearing alone, while her brothers hid in the bushes watching. The filly knew she was noticed when all became silent. Her mother glared at her for interuppting, and stomped her hoof impatiently. "What do you want, Tori? If your not dying, then it can wait. Mommy and Flamgay are having an adult conversation. Millicent shot a cold glare at Razi as she spoke his nickname. The orange stallion huffed, " Don't call me that in front of the kids. Don't call me that at --" He was quickly cut off as both Millicient and her daughter spoke in unison, "Shut up, Flamgay". Millicient smurked smugly at Razi, and went back to giving her daughter attention. "Tori, hurry up. I have to finish with this stallion before my eyes bleed out of my head from his stupid colors. Shouldn't you be practicing? Go chase boys or something!" At that, Tori took a deep breath in and said very casually, " Boys? Ew! Momma, I will never ever ever go near a boy! I much prefer girls."
A cord had been struck. Her father's jaw dropped open, and Tori watched as her mother's eye twitched. Millicent snorted loudly and shook her head. " What.Did.You.Say?" Her mother had turned around to face her full on, more anger on her face then the small filly had ever seen. Tori swallowed and repeated what she had said. " I'm going to go out and find a nice girl that I'll love and grow old with and be happy with. I don't need --" Sharp hooves came crashing down near the filly, causing Tori to stumble backwards in shock and fear. Her mother stormed over toward her angerily, spitting curse words into the air. "You stupid, ********> child. I ought to kill you were you stand. No living child of mine will love the same gender. It's disgraceful, disgusting, disturbing and I will NOT have it in my blood line! This type will not be tolerated, if you are like that then you cannot be a winner! If this is how you feel, you are no child of mine, you are no winner and never will be and you shall DIE !!" With this, Millcient spit at the cowering frame of the filly, and reared up to deal the final blow. Tori shut her eyes, trembling with complete fear. Her stupid brothers wanted her dead!
The hooves never came. Slowly, Tori opened one eye to peep at what was going on. Her father had checked Millicent, causing her to loose her balance. The yelling and screaming match started again, and Tori saw her two brothers come out of hiding to stand in front of her. "Wait, Momma! Wait!" One of them shouted loudly, and the mare whirled around to face them again. "What do you stupid children want? Don't try and save your sister. She chose her fate, we cannot have anymore losers in this family!" Her brothers stood their ground and shook their heads together. "No momma! It was a dare! We dared her to do it! Really we did!" The anger did not live Millicent's face at this, but the look to kill did. At this she screamed at them, "GET OUT OF MY FACE YOU STUPID CHILDREN. GO DO SOMETHING USEFUL!" She charged at them, nipping at all three fleeing tails. Tori scrambled to make her shaking legs work and fled after her brothers. No more pranks like that, ever again. She would be a winner for her momma, the best there ever was. Tori would not disappoint her again.

Give me the spotty BBY~ Username: heartspoint Soquili Name: Sabine if girl Kael if boy Number of Soquili Owned: 1Why do you want this basket?: The family story sounds interesting and it looks like it will be a neat soq. What would your future plots be for this basket? Finding the perfect mate and interacting with it's family. Will you be around shop?: Yes Will you RP this basket?: yes Prompt: RP Response: Sabine was at wits end. This never ending cycle of her parents fighting was nerve wracking, her patience was at an end. She was expected to be the daughter of a Champion with certain expectation and rules placed on her shoulders. Sabine was supposed to always head these rules. “ eat no later then dusk or you’ll become slower the next morning. If your slow you will not win and there is no point if you don’t win,” Her mother would daily recite. The was a point when anyone would break and this was it. This night had been especially hard. Dad had come home in one of his smirky moods. With a smiling face he had vocalized insults towards Millicent all night long. Her angry replies had made the hair on Sabine’s neck rise. Razi shook his mane in laughter as Millicent yelled gay slurs at him and screamed at him for bringing risqué coloring to her children. Lee whispered annoyingly into Sabine ear, “Bet you can’t stop them. Mom's the champion of argument and nobody and nothing could stop her.” Sabine gave it some thought before she walked into the battle fray. Every so slowly and timidly Sabine walked into the middle of her parents. Millicent screaming paused for a minute. “Sabine what do you want don’t you see if busy go back and prepare for tomorrow’s morning run,” Millicent said in a exasperated voice. “No I’ve been holding my feeling in for such a long time. I shall be know as the Champion of secrets but now I need to break my silence. Enough is enough..“ Sabine raised her head proudly. The Truth is I’m gay and unashamed of it! Millicent sputtered “ You can’t be none of my children are gay and if they were they did not get it from my side.” Razi said nothing but he lost the twinkle in his eyes and was no longer smiling. Sabine glared at her parents. “ Get over it. I mean I could be gay I’m not going to look at only 50% of the population to find my soul mate. That’s just stupid! I want to find the mate that completes me. That can complete my sentences and knows my favorite type of food. I don’t want to find the perfect mate but the perfect mate for me. One who is not only my lover but my friend. I want real true love. " Sabine turned and stared straight into her Mothers eyes. "Why must you label everybody into categorizes or place dad into the stereotypical view of being gay because his eye makings while they make his eye pop do look feminine or that his coat is colorful. "Sabine smiled sadly while she looked at both her parents. “See the real me accept the real me without putting rules and boundaries on me to make me fit some kind of stereotypical cookie cuter image that you have labeled as perfect in your head. Just simply accept me for me." Sabine tuned away from the puzzled expression of her parents and walked away from her family. She had won that bet with Lee. But she had not lied instead she had reveled a secret she had kept from her parents as well as herself. However done and said she needed to evaluate her relations with her family and think hard on some important decisions she would need to make in her life.

Give me the spotty BBY~ Username: Mameha Otome Soquili Name: Caradoc (Male) - Nolan (Female) (Temper: Proud) Number of Soquili Owned: 7.5 The group (Clef - the Celebi - is co-owned) This is counting my WIP custom from Vance Why do you want this basket?: Seems like it would be an interesting family/plot to be a part of and get to know. Also the colors and markings are quite fancy and interesting together. Who knew orange and bronze would turn out such lovely baskets? What would your future plots be for this basket? Good question...I think I like the idea of this little one being the youngest and striving hard to be proud and competitive like momma. Being the smallest though, s/he struggles and fails quite a bit compared to whatever the siblings are like. Hey, eventually they'll succeed and hopefully be the apple of mommy's eye. A foal can dream... Will you be around shop?: Yes, I hang around in silence quite often but I'm there oh yes. Will you RP this basket?: When I can and get the chance. Family RP wouldn't be a bad thing for me. Prompt: #2 RP Response: (RPing it as a male, even if by chance it is female in the end. Same difference, ne? Also, I hope I'm not butchering Millicent too badly D8 I hate trying to include other's characters in sometimes.) It had always been like this with their family. Father was in and out of the picture with travel, mother was always around to nurture them...at least until she could dump them on their heads and be done with the little leeches. The only problem with that was, no matter how she tried to be rid of them, she still wanted them to be the best damn foals around. Nothing was going to change this state of mind and she was going to train and run her children ragged until they understood success. Caradoc knew what their mother expected of them and he tried. His siblings just seemed to go along with it, making breaks to get away and get some time off from their crazy, success driven mother. Not him, oh no. His weak legs carried him until he could go no further. His ears listened to every nagging word she said to him. He ate in the short breaks from running and record breaking attempts. He slept in the few scant hours of the night he got. Caradoc was ran until he collapsed from exhaustion each night and woke for early starts the next day. His mind rarely wandered to the world around him. He barely noticed the open plains and the sounds of the rushing river and streams. If anything, he would always watch for wild herds to thunder by, aiming someday to outrun them completely and prove he was strong enough to run with the best of them. Only this was proving to be more and more difficult each day with the short hours of rest he got compared to his siblings whenever they ran off for breaks. At first he couldn't believe they would skip out on such a thing, but it was getting to the point where going off to relax a bit more was looking more and more tempting each day. 'No...' he thought, 'I mustn't disappoint mother...I want her to love me and keep me close even if it costs me.'

Give me the spotty BBY~ Username: JetAlmeara Soquili Name: Pazi - Meaning 'My gold' which I think suits the personality I've come up with for him/her and also goes rather nicely with Daddy's name heh. Number of Soquili Owned: 4 teepee * Cheveyo is also expecting a basket, but I am giving this basket to a friend with no Soq as of yet so I haven't counted it in my Owned Soq. Why do you want this basket?: Because this is probably one of the more intresting 'family' relationships I've come across and gotten the chance to try and be a part of. Plus I mean look at the basket..come on now who wouldn't try for it? What would your future plots be for this basket? I foresee the foal having a lifelong obsession wih trying to get his mothers affection, knowing that his mother would only accept the best he/she will constantly be trying to excel...unfortunatey for him/her they have also inherited thier fathers love of messing around with others for his own amusement - sometimes this helps in the competitive field when it hinders the competition and sometimes it just gets him into trouble. Pazi will mostly likely be one of those characters whose always trying to obtain greatness but never quite makes it for some reason and ts doubtful he'll ever truly achieve his mothers affection - but he'll keep on trying and will probably seek out his father for advice and have a life long love affair with finding the perfect 'good luck charm' to combat the obvious bad luck that keeps him from winning. (Because clearly its not related to his talent - he's perfect) Will you be around shop?: Honestly I lurk in the main thread, or post randomly in the mornings when its slower. It moves rather fast for me t keep up with in the evenings but I am on Gaia and I will drop in upon request *nods nods* for thread RP..and I'm always up for Guild or IM or PM RP as well. Will you RP this basket?: Of course! Prompt: o2. Quote: Your mother, Millicent, is a competitive female. Whatever she does, whether is be her passion, running, or a battle of words, she always strives to bring her A-Game and come out on top. Failure and disappointment are NEVER an option, not even when it comes to you. Because she holds these values high she has tried to instill them in to you and your siblings. Even if you don't run like her, whatever talent you hold, you must do your best and try to come out as the best. Do you really want to always be the best, or are you in it for the fun? What values do you hold high and how does your mothers fit in on your chart? Or maybe you don't care cause you are a lazy a**? RP Response: (useing a male persona just for ease of reply) Hoofbeats drummed a rhythmic beat upon the ground, the wind whistled in his ears, his mane streamed out behind him. Each stride forward was a perfect replication of the last - sheer grace and power in motion! Victory was so close he could practically taste it...just a hairsbreath away and his competition strides behind. Finally...finally he would achieve the goal he'd been trying for for so very long - could imagine the glimmer of pride in his mothers eyes. It would be esquisite, wonderful - the greatest thing since green grass! And then... He stumbled. His wandering mind had failed to notice the tree root arching from the ground in his path, his flailing hooves failed to regain thier stride and sent him crashing to his knees, nose digging a slight furrow in the soft ground. A colorful flash from the corner of his eye alerted him to his competition's achievement. Pazi lifted his head from the dirt just in time to see the rainbow hued beast cross the line. Shattered! Everything shattered! The gleam in his mothers eye turned to one of scorn and victory - well it slapped him in the face and laughed. Shame burned across the colts features, how could he have not seen the root? So stupid! He chastised himself mentally for the mistake "Always keep your focus, always!" He muttered to himself, repeating the mantra as he climbed to his feet. He didn't even look to see if his mother had seen - she always seemed to see his failures. Was always dissapointed in him. Someday, Pazi promised himself, that would change. Someday he would come out on top - someday he would become the son she always wanted. She had made it clear since birth that there was no other option and Pazi had taken these ideals to heart, his constant failure chewed him up inside, a churning pit of shame and anger made even worse because he believed these failures were not related to his potential or talent - they couldn't be...look how well he had been doing before the stumble! - no it was simple bad luck and lack of discipline that kept him from his destiny. He couldn't do much about the bad luck but he could train the lack of discipline out! He would too, stalking away from the field without so much asa by your leave to the winner and everyone watching Pazi promised himself he would train day and night, would train until he could barely walk the next morning until he achieved his goal. Then he would win. Then his mother would be proud of him - and maybe she would stop blaming his faliures on his fathers blood too, and while he was at it it might not hurt to look for a good luck charm a well.

Give me the spotty BBY~ Username: Azael_Rose Soquili Name: Keme-Zeke; Secret (Native American) Strength (Hebrew) ((The name is unisex, and personality is the same for male or female))Number of Soquili Owned: 1 Soquili and 1 co-owned Usdia ; TeepeeWhy do you want this basket?: For another new character to role play. :3 What would your future plots be for this basket? These are just a few ideas of course; A Secret- Keme takes more after his father being a tad on the lazy side so he will often clash with his mother's competitive nature just on pure principle. But when she's not around, he's training in secret. Maybe his mother would find him one night and the two could start to bond over it. Peace Maker- He often takes on the role as middle child and plays mediator to his siblings. Perhaps one day the other two get into a huge fight and Keme then goes back and forth between the two trying to mend things. Not the Prankster- If jokes and gags are his sibling's cup of tea then Keme-Zeke is the perfect target. Generally he doesn't mind the occasional prank but maybe the latest one isn't too nice, making him more wary and not such the easy target anymore. Growing up is Slow Going- Though he's always had a more mature attitude compared to most foals, it's taking too long for him to grow up and meet new soquili. He finally decides to take a trip for a few days to "find" himself. This trip lasts longer than anticipated. Along the way he will find himself the company of a mare that is very similar to his mother. Whether it develops into more will be part of the rp process. Back and Grown- Now grown into a young adult, he visits his family to surprise them with how much he's grown. (And not just size) He's also decided to follow in his mother's footsteps and race. Distraction of the Heart- Keme's racing career is off to a great start and he shows enormous potential until one day he locks eyes with a certain mare. Suddenly he's off his game and struggling to get this female's attention. To him it's love at first sight, but maybe not for her...which causes more problems. (He even goes to his father for advice) It takes a while but Keme's back in the saddle so to speak and gets back to racing. Retiring- After suffering a major fall during an important race, his ankle just isn't what it was. He finally makes the pain-staking decision to retire and undergoes a bout of wander lust while trying to figure out what he will do for the rest of his life. Family Training- Keme has finally realized it's time to settle down and focus on his family (or creating one). He's also discovered that his skills are not wasted when he trains young foals and adults to race. Will you be around shop?: Yes, not as much until I get my new computer but I'll be around. Will you RP this basket?: Most definitely! Prompt: #1 RP Response: (Rped as male but can easily switch to female if necessary)It always amazed the young foal when he would watch his parents interact. He was surprised that the two were still together with all their bickering. Though he could see most of it was in jest and meant no harm to the other. But it still bewildered him. He wondered if every couple did this. Would he do this with his own mate, he would often wonder while looking upon the near by couples in the clearing.
He observed the other soquili preening each other, and neighing softly to the other. It was such a contrast to his own family. That's not to say there wasn't love. If there wasn't then surely the two wouldn't even be so close. Keme sighed at his own thoughts and finally settled on the idea that he would know the real reason once he was a full grown stallion. Though privately he vowed not to find such an "out-going" mare as his mother. He didn't think he would be able to survive two of them.
In the distance he could hear his mother's brash voice calling all the siblings back. He quickly stood and loped over to her, fearing she might be ready for another of her lectures if he didn't get there fast enough. Luckily she let him off with a warning, then before he could give a response his father shot off a remark. Keme-Zeke cringed and the two were back at it again - a small argument by their standards.
Keme just walked off aways to lay down in the green grass. He just smiled knowing that this was his family and it may not have been perfect but it worked.

Give me the spotty BBY~ Username: musicaloner7 Soquili Name: Female;; Cerie Male;;Arric Number of Soquili Owned: o Why do you want this basket?: It is quite lovely, and I find it's disposition with it's parents is quite interesting. I'd also like a chance to finally get in on the Rp around here... as I've been wanting to for quite some time. What would your future plots be for this basket? Honestly, I have no clue. I'd like if it could have the little one meet all different walks of life. Perhaps to see those who accept failure as a part of life. Will you be around shop?: If I'm not ignored, sure. But if I am, then I shall keep to those who I am aquainted with and Rp with their Soq's. Will you RP this basket?: Of course. Prompt: 1 RP Response/b]:
What a complete waste of time. That's the best way to sum it up. All they ever do is constantly bicker and fight. Nagging at each other like immature siblings. Constantly acting sophmoric and unruley. This was no way for parents to be. Not at all. What kind of example were they setting for us? ...or... is this how all parents were...? Either way.. it was quite unpleasent.. and I dislike it. If this was what having a family meant, then I want nothing to do with it. The endless intensity, and walking on egg shells is enough to drive anyone batty. The only reason I can think that they would enjoy one anothers company is because of their need for the on-edge kind of life. Always trying to one-up the other. Like a pair of rivals. They have nothing else that gets them vigorated like the snipping at one another. It's their favourite hobby. But I find it rather sad that their own foal can hold more dignity and self-control than grown adults. Perhaps my basket was switched with another family nearby on accident... but then again, my features are the spitting image of both of them equally. But a foal can dream, right? One day I'll get out of this mess, and see the world for myself. Enjoy the pleasent things in life, such as eating fermented apples, and sweet sugar cane. The trainquility of a morning in the forest without the whining and complaining of two grown children. Father and his instigation of mother's childish behaviour, and the way mother can't seem to realize that he feeds off her frustrations. ....*sigh* if only she could step outside of herself to see what he's doing, then maybe, just maybe, she'd see what a fool she makes of herself by continuing to fuel his behaviour. But alas, you can only fall in line of bad behaviour, or rise above it. And I, choose to soar.
