"O-oh... I'm really sorry to hear that." Cassiy said sincerely, but it was the only thing she could think to say. It was awkward, hearing about someone's past life this way. But what was the most awkward was that this girl's home had been turned into a school. Cassidy thought it must be hard to have something like that happen to someone.

Cassidy shuddered slightly as the girl disappeared in front of her. She didn't know what to think about what the girl told her, but Cassidy knew she wouldn't be able to think straight until something else distracted her. Cassidy walked over to one of the windows in the library. Since the library was on one of the upper floors, it had a section cut out paneled with glass so students could see part of the lower floor. Cassidy stood looking down as every now and then students who had after school activities walked by.

screams were heard from the lunch room as shasta was standing there looking around.

Cassidy jumped and let out a yelp at the screams. Her first idea was to ignore the screams, but curosity and panic won over as she ran toward them. Cassidy still wan't used to being dead and what came with it, so she didn't even try to pass through anything to get there faster.

As soon as she realized people could see them, Cassidy grabbed Shasta's hand (ghosts were solid to each other) and acted on instinct. Running out of the lunch room and pulling Shasta with her, Cassidy ran far enough away and took many turns as to loose anyone who might have followed. When she tought it was safer where they were, Cassidy let go of Shasta's hand to catch her breath.

"S-sorry. We-... I just thought we n-needed to get out of there.. Fa-fast." Cassidy mumbeled, stuttering badly. Somehow the idea of the living seeing the dead was a bad thing. A very bad thing.

Lana sat on the ground by a pile of art work and picked one up. She read the message at the bottom. In loving memory of my aunt Lana. Died: May 3rd, 1990. She read the name and sighed. It was the niece she never got to meet. Her sister had been pregnant when she died and this was some of the old art work. She looked at the picture. It was a painting of a picture of her sitting in a window at home. She was staring at the sunset. A tear rolled down her face and she wiped it away. She heard a gasp at the door and looked up. She saw the art teacher staring at her in horror. The teacher looked very familiar and she knew that the living shouldn't see her. She looked a lot like her sister.

Cassidy looked back the way they had run from, but didn't see or hear anyone following them. That was good. "Wonder what they're gonna do..." Cassidy mumbeled more to herself, refering to the students that had seen them.

Lana disappeared from the art room and appeared in front of some lockers. She looked at the 2 ghosts in the hallway and waved.

Cassidy jumped slightly when another ghost appeared at the lockers. She waved back shyly, shyness being a trait that did not die when Cassidy did. Since Cassidy was still new to the afterlife, it was odd seeing people disappear and reappear.

Brian walked through the front doors, already lat for his first day of school. He still had no idea where he had to go. Luckily for him, he saw three students loitering in the halls.
"Um...Excuse me? I could use some help finding my way."
He spoke with a think southern accent, which made sense, as he was from Texas.
