Rivlen so has this actually started or should we wait until tomorrow? confused  Once everyone has their roles you're usually free to begin playing; I'm not running this one so we'll have to get the OK from Ota, but I'm thinking it has.

So guys, Im kind of a noob to mafia, but with the number of players we have, how many people would be mafia, and how many would be town?

an experienced Mafia Moderator on the forum where I learned how to play Mafia said he tends to make the scum ~30% of the total players
30% of 13 is 3.9
so I'm going to say there's 3 Mafia Members
it's likely if we had one more person we'd have had the serial killer as well
but anyway this is mainly speculation based on things other people do and such
I have no idea how many Mafia members Ota might have put in the game
but I think it's safe to say that it's less than 5 for sure
