"Well, technically it is." Harold replied, "Do you know anything about greek mythology?"

Hazel racked her mind to think about what she did know and then nodded, "A little bit, but only what our teachers taught us, but what your saying is that they're...real,"

Harold gave a thumbs up, "Do you know Morpheus?"

The teen looked at the boy like he was crazy. She needed a little bit more time to process the info. She barely believed what was going on, but she nodded slowly to his question. "He's a God, right? I remember something about dreams....,"

Harold held up two thumbs up, "Yep, I'm a son of Morpheus, largely enhancing my hypnotic abilities. Soon, you'll find out who your parent was as well."

Harold shrugged, "Well, I never even met Morpheus. For me, it just seemed convenient that I had mythological powers. Some of them are pretty busy, so you might just get a sign."

Hazel turned away again, stombing off just to let loose. "Well, I don't even want that. My father left, it's his fault I'm here in the first place and he can just go chew dirt for all I care,"

Harold followed her, "Well, I don't really blame Morpheus, he has a very important job to do. I maybe would have been mad if it was a god like Mr. D... But anyway, you have to stay positive!"

Hazel almost turned and asked the boy who Mr.D was. Then she vaguely remembered her time at the Big House. "Yeah, that would be torture," she said, "I just...think it would be better not knowing,"

Harold nodded, "Well, I was ready for any explanation by the time I got here. I had been running from... certain things for years. I've seen several of my friends die."

Instantl the girl felt sorry for beigning up the topic. She often got angry, she knew that, but she still didn't like hurting her friends. "I'm sorry," she said, "I've never had any friends to worry about, people always....well let's just say I was the one who got hurt,"

Harold shrugged again, "It's fine. Making friends in bad situations is really the only way I've ever made friends. As they say, I'd rather make and lose friends than have none at all."
