Gale finally got bored and decided it might be time to explore the rest of the camp as he leap frogged his way down the climbing wall, till he hit the bottem a little hard for his liking " gods will I ever learn" gale growled as he wandered off looking for company.

Blaise1897 Jinx rolled her eyes and looked over at Derek. "So, how'd you end up here at camp?" She asked trying to change the subject. It must be hard for him to be a son of Ares and be scared of blood. She thought to herself and smiled lightly at Derek. Derek shrugged and remembered his life before he was taken to camp. "It's a bit of a long story, but I was living with my grandfather and monsters attacked. They killed him, and burned the house down." He fingered the watch on his wrist. "I ran after that, ran into a satyr and he took me here."

ΩJinx HansenΩ "I'm not a freak. I'm just me, so deal with it." -Jinx Hansen Jinx had a sympathetic look on her face. "I'm sorry to here that," she said and looked at the sky. "I was walking home from one my friend's place, which was across from my place. I was attacked by a harpy in the middle of the road, but a satyr saved me before I passed out. Then my dad and the satyr forced me here and saying that I'd have fun here," she said and she turned around so that her back was facing Derek. "I got this scar from the harpy attack." She pulled her ponytail out of the way so the scar would be a little clearer. A pink claw mark went from her left shoulder down to the right side of her waist.

Derek stared at her scar and wrinkled his nose. He'd seen many people at camp with scars from battles, and had heard loads of stories about how they had gotten them. But this scar had to be one of the worst ones he had seen. "How long did it take for you to recover?"

ΩJinx HansenΩ "I'm not a freak. I'm just me, so deal with it." -Jinx Hansen Jinx turned back to face Derek with a small smile and blushing with embarrassment. "I don't know how long it took for it to heal," she said and looked at the sky again and sighed. "All I know is that it healed and became a scar." She looked back at Derek and smiled lightly.((It's so short.))

Derek looked back down at the ground. The sun had fallen below the tree line, and all that was left was the soft glow of the sun along the tops of the trees and cabins. "I'm sure your mother was looking after you when you got hurt." He shivered slightly as a small breeze blew.

ΩJinx HansenΩ "I'm not a freak. I'm just me, so deal with it." -Jinx Hansen Jinx sighed and looked at soft glow of the sun, then shivered a little when there was that little breeze. "I guess she was," she said and looked back at Derek, she smiled lightly at him again. "Is it just me or is it getting colder out?" She asked and shivered again. Derek seems like he could be a good friend. She thought to herself.

Derek ran his hand over his arm and felt all the goosebumps that had arisen. They weren't all cause by the cold. "Maybe we should head back to our cabins?" He suggested, silently hoping Jinx would disagree with him. He didn't know why, but he would be disappointed if she agreed to part ways for the night.

ΩJinx HansenΩ "I'm not a freak. I'm just me, so deal with it." -Jinx Hansen Jinx shook her head a little. "No, I don't mind the cold," she said and chuckled. "I lived where it was colder than this." she smiled at Derek and then looked at the night sky. I'm not going to tell him where I lived before coming here. Unless he asks me. She thought to herself.

Derek nodded and looked over at Jinx. "And where exactly did you live before coming to camp?" He'd always lived in the central part of the U.S. It never got extremely cold where he had lived, but it did snow a bit every Winter.

ΩJinx HansenΩ "I'm not a freak. I'm just me, so deal with it." -Jinx Hansen Jinx looked back at Derek and smiled a little. "I lived in Saskatchewan, Canada before coming here," she said and blushed because she was embarrassed that he might laugh at her. "It went down to -27ºC plus wind-chill." She looked at her forearm to see that it stopped bleeding. At least my arm stopped bleeding. She thought to herself and sighed in relief.

Derek was taken aback about how cold it was where she grew up. He'd never experienced anything below zero before, and he wondered how anyone would be able to stand such cold temperatures. He looked down so she didn't see the surprised look on his face. "Do you like the cold?"

ΩJinx HansenΩ "I'm not a freak. I'm just me, so deal with it." -Jinx Hansen Jinx looked back at Derek and noticed he was looking down. "I don't mind it. Plus, if you live in Canada you'll adapt to the weather," she smiled lightly at him, even though he was looking down. "Do you like the cold?" She asked to see if he did because he asked her the same question.

Derek shrugged fighting back another shiver from the cold air. "It's okay, though it never really got cold where I grew up." He smiled and breathed in slowly. "It was always warm; sometimes too hot to go outside in the summer."
