Heyen kept his eyes on her, always worried for his employees. He shouldn't have to knowing that she could handle herself but he still had to by nature. Even though she was there to take orders from his customers Heyen could hear what they were saying as already went back to the kitchen to the end of the counter, and prepared his foods.
Though he couldn't be seen he moved fairly quickly, but time was always delayed because he had to wait for the beef to cook properly. He moved fluently, languidly as he retrieved their ale by the time Mitsuki came back. "So, have you found anyone that you took to your liking, Mitsu-love?" He asked her, moving quickly back to the kitchen to prepare the customer's sandwiches and returning to put them on the plate.
Others were already raising their hands, calling for Mitsuki. Such was a curse to have a beautiful lady to work for him..

Mitsuki laughed at Heyen's question and shook her head, "No Heyen," She said picking up the tray. "besides I'm already busy with Misora." she said, she could hear the roar of people calling for their orders to be taken and sighed inwardly. She walked back to the table with the two old men, and she smiled. "Heres your orders." She said and gave the two men their orders, then went to the next 3 tables with hands raised. She took all their orders with a smile and came back to the counter handing Heyen the orders.

"What a waste of beauty.." Heyen offered as others called. Some were regulars so he already knew of their choice of drinks. So he was already going around the display to get the selective beverages. Work was always a repetition but he never got bored of it. And he did have Mitsuki so his day was never so dull.
When Mitsuki came back to deliver the orders he already had the choice of wines, or beer, for her to take to selected customers. "You know, if you ever need some stress-relieving time you could always come to me." Heyen offered with a wink. "Many girls enjoy my time." It was an offer that was both serious, but not. He was never offended with being rejected since he did have a choice of other ladies. Sometimes that fact did stop some from coming back to him..which was when he used his abilities to draw them into his bed. But he would never do that to Mitsuki, out of respect.

Mitsuki laughed but smiled, "Thanks for the offer heyen, but I'm not that stressed. Besides I'm sure the girl at table 8 would be happy to." She said with a playful grin showing that she was joking. She picked up the trays gracefully, and walked to the tables giving out their drinks and foods. She took the next three tables orders and headed back up to the counter. "Seems like buisness is booming like usual. But its a bit quiet today. I guess that will change once it gets dark." She said placing the orders and empty trays down.

Heyen only snickered to her humor, but he couldn't help but take a glance towards a female on the table. Her appereance only made him blink. "My, Mitsuki - I may be a man whore but I have standards!" It wasn't that the individual was grotesque and lacked anything appealing but her current position, drowned in her need for liquor was what really turned him off. "Maybe when she sobers.." He added.
Using his quick-pace abilities he was quickly moving in and out of the kitchen to replace the empty trays that Mitsuki was bringing. He did not need to move so quickly but he truly had nothing to do but waste his time.
Time kept coming and going, and as the day was growing to evening the large orders were ending and smaller orders were coming in. The sun was beginning to set, orange hues pouring through the windows.
"I believe Mitsuki will be coming soon. Do you want to prepare a meal for the both of you? I don't mind taking in the orders." Heyen offered, pouring a glass of Merlot for a cloaked individual in front of him.

Mitsuki smiled, "Yeah, thanks Heyen. Misora usually likes your pasta con brocoli, and I think a roast beef sandwhich and a salad sounds good to me." She said smiling. She picked up the trays and delievered the food and drinks to the tables with a smile, then took the next 2 tables orders. She came back up to the counter and placed the trays and orders down.

"Alrighty, Love. I'll make it a priority order. Why don't you go to the washrooms on the side and clean yourself up a little?" He suggested as he took the trays to the back to the kitchen, where he was already working on their orders before coming back and remembering the orders that she brought back. Double-tasking, or even more, was nothing strange or difficult for him. The only part that was hard about it was waiting for the food. Many times while the wait he would give a quick full-scan of the tavern to make sure there was no mischief, especially in the rooms in the back. Most of the time people just lay there, unconscious because of the heavy drinks.

Mitsuki nodded and made her way to one of the restrooms. She swallowed a gag. She'd gotten used to the smell of alchol, but the washrooms where a different matter. She always wonderred why Heyen didn't hire someone to clean them, she'd never once seen a janitor. She went to one of the sinks and took off her gloves and washed her scarred hands and face. After she dried her face and hands she slipped her gloves back on and headed out of the washroom. Mitsuki walked back to the counter for the last trays she needed to dealiver before her break. She looked towards the door for Misora, "She should be here soon..." she thought to herself with a slight frown of worry.

The sun had already descended by the time they arrived at the tavern, and the streets were much less packed than they were in the daytime. Most of the convenient stands for produce or food were gone for the day in Northwest Sanctum. Nate and Misora had taken the Skyway to quicken their pace to the tavern, and he admired the view of Sanctum from above. It was always different than it was in daytime. Sometimes it was rather creepy. When they arrived in Northwest the Skyway stopped not too far from the tavern, "I know I don't have to tell you but keep away from strange people who slur their words, alright?" he forewarned as he opened the door to the tavern. Heyen's gaze quickly lifted when he caught scent of a familiar smell that was similar to Mitsuki's, and he smiled when he saw the little tree nymph enter with Nate. "Aw, how cute. Did you hold her hand on your way here, Nate?" Heyen smiled, as he looked at a few orders and disappeared to work on them.

Mitsuki was surprised to see Nate come in with Misora but smiled none the less, she leaned over the counter and called out to Heyen, "I'm taking my break now, is my food ready?" Misora smiled as she enterred with Nate and grabbed his hand, "I know that. Mitsuki told me that a few years ago after she got the job." She said quietly, then dragged him to the counter. "Mitsuki, Nate said he wanted to talk to you so I brought him here." Mitsuki stood up straight leaning back from the counter and smiled at Misora, then at Nate, "Well good evening Nate, what did you want to talk about?" she asked. She knew Misora was one of his favorite students and a friend. He had had chats with her before and Misora usually talked about him.

"Coming right up!" Heyen called from the kitchen, answering Mitsuki's question. "Good evening, Mitsuki. It's good to see you." He smiled, taking a seat near the counter and placing his organizer down. Both Mitsuki and Misora were special, or at least he thought so. He's only spoken to Mitsuki a couple of times back when Misora enrolled, but that was long ago. Until know he hadn't devoted his time in direct conversation. "Here you girl, ladies." Heyen greeted, putting Misora's favorite dish of broccoli pasta next to her and Mitsuki's own orders beside her, both fresh and still warm. He filled two glasses of lemonade for the two of them, and left a pitcher there as well. "And what of you, Nate?" Heyen asked. "I'll get a steak, rare. Keep it small, I'm not too hungry, and a glass of sprite." Heyen nodded to his request. Before the Incubus left he had looked over a few orders, taken some from the tavern and back to the kitchen. I admire his stamina.. Nate thought before turning to Mitsuki. "I just wanted to speak to you about Misora's powers. She tells me that she can make notes when she plays her violin, and it got me thinking. Misora is still very young so her best powers probably have yet to come out. And I was wondering if you would consider trying to have her sing and play for plant life."

Mitsuki nodded and smiled, "Thanks Heyen." She called. then looked back at nate still smiling, "I think I can do that," she said, then her smile faded away, "though it will have to wait a few days until I have a day off." She added and sat down. Misora looked at her pasta with hungrey eyes, "Thanks Heyen!" She called, and sat down. She eagerly started to eat her pasta. Mitsuki took a bite of her salad then swallowed before looking back at Nate. "Misora already has violin lessons, so I might be able to talk her teacher into an outdoor practice. Is there anything special coming up, or anything that I should know about?" She asked, then took a sip of lemonade.

"Anything special.." Nate repeated. If he could find the right kind of stimuli he could help Misora with that. But first.. "Tomorrow the class will be having a representation of their skills. As far as I know Misora does not have any offensive capabilities but that would be the least of our worries if my theory is correct. I don't know if she's practiced on using any form of energy, but I would think that that's what the notes that she releases from her violin are." He paused and subconsciously reached for a glass of sprite that was left next to him. He hadn't even seen Heyen put it there. He took a sip before looking to Mitsuki again. "You know of it right? An internal source within the body that allows one to perform unnatural things. It could be that their starting to awaken within Misora, but I'm not sure. I have seen her play but I have never seen those notes before so I don't know how she channels her energy, without it be by will or subconsciously."

Mitsuki nodded, "Right. I've only seen her do it twice at home, but her violin teacher has told me of it happening a few times during the middle of songs she already knew, so its probably a subconscious connection to her original home. Though I could be wrong." she said then smiled, "Well if that's all the business we have to talk about should we move onto a less serious topic? Like how Misora talks about you almost every day?" she said a bit playfully and took another bite of her salad. Misora was already halfway done with her pasta and swallowed a large amount in her mouth. "Thats because you always ask about my day at school." she said a bit defensively. Mitsuki laughed, "I know, but it doesn't change the fact that you do, or how you said it defensively." she said smiling playfully. She took a large bite of salad and swallowed. "Only because you were implying somthing that wasn't true." Misora said and pouted a little. Mitsuki laughed again and grabbed Misora in a hug, "You know I'm only joking, I'm sorry sweetheart." she said smiling. She then reliesed that Nate was still with them and looked at him a bit embaressed, "Sorry." she said then smiled "So, Misora tells me you never sleep, but Heyen isn't in a bad mood so you can't be a vampire." She said joking around.

Nate had quickly turned his attention to Misora with a teasing smile when he heard that he was often spoken. Of course these girls had more to say on the subject than he could. In truth it made him embarrassed to know that he was the subject, never being one in that kind of predicament. The moment Mitsuki embraced her half-sister Nate only smiled all the more. They must have been deeply involved in their two way conversation to remember that he was here. Mitsuki was probably shy in public display of affection. Her rosy cheeks then said it all. "I'm a teacher, and a human. So my lack of sleep isn't entirely surprising granted I have to not only study but find ways to help these kids of mine. Many with unique capabilities..and them some. And it isn't only this class but others that I have to look over so studying them.." He paused, finding it uncomfortable in saying it like that, "Let me rephrase, learning about them is what keeps me up all night. It's simply fascinating." He turned towards Heyen, rather continuously given the unparallel speed that that Incubus had. "..And why? Does Heyen have some problems with vampires?" "Nonononono." Heyen quickly spoke, already between the three individuals. "I loathe them. Detest them and which them all dead. Especially that young man.." He scolded, remembering the earlier man who came in with Dark. "Yo, HEYEN!!" A patron called out from across the room, knocking the incubus back. "Excuse me." With that little said he dismissed himself from the party to get back to his orders.
