Naturally he wouldn't be that lucky. The elite frowned as the Pikachu was released and scanned it as well. It was a pretty average Pikachu, and this one seemed to be trained better than the others considering it seemed a little more advanced in level.
"Focusing most of your training on one Pokemon is a bad idea." He told her irritably, then released his next Pokemon as well.
What emerged was his dark Tyranitar. The rock beast roaring fearsomely as it was let out of its confines.

Kofuku didn't waste time gawking at the Tyranitar; that thing was huge and it rather freaked her out. Instead, she took advantage of it's roaring to dive right into attacking. "Gizmo, move! Use Thunder Shock!"
The Pikachu was fast on it's feet, finding itself able to move a lot quicker on the training floor than in the desert sands. Once he got himself within range, Gizmo let lose the attack as he continued to run around the larger pokemon.
Kofuku knew that it'd be looked down on that she had only really focused on Gizmo, but granted that Hiromi wasn't really her top notch fighter and probably never would be and the fact that Nina had just finally 'broken' and Hercules hadn't even started to warm up to her, Gizmo had been the only one who actually trained decently when he wasn't busy getting himself stuck in places that were far too small for him. Still, as Seth said, it was no excuse. She had a lot of work ahead of her, and she was going to be focusing her efforts on not only leveling, but also new, more powerful attacks. At least this terrible beat down that Seth was just finishing serving her had offered a purpose; she finally opened her eyes to reality and she knew what was going to happen if things didn't change.

Seeing the light of understanding appear in Kofuku's eyes, Seth gave a pleased smirk. It was about damn time. He didn't do these beat downs just to throw his weight around and show off. There was method behind his madness, and he wanted her to learn something. Now that it had dawned upon her, she could finally start working on becoming a more valuable Rocket. Perhaps this hadn't been a complete waste of his time after all.
The Tyranitar flinched slightly at the thundershock, not doing much damage. Still, at least Seth hadn't thrown his Steelix at her.
"Stone Edge," the elite commanded.
The Tyranitar snarled, just as a shower of rocks fell from above and down towards the Pikachu.

And that was the end of the battle. Kofuku held her pokeball out, calling her last, now fainted, pokemon back. Placing the ball back on her belt, she looked up at Seth, waiting to see what other harsh comments the Elite would have for her.
"I think... I understand now, sir." Her voice shook a little as she spoke to him, remembering the last time she had told him she had 'understood'. That had not gone over well.

However, there was no harsh comebacks this time.
"Good. Next time I expect to see improvement."
Seth recalled the Tyranitar and placed the ball back on his belt.
His blue gaze leveled on her for a moment, before he turned and proceeded to leave. His work was done.
