Kaileigh

Kaileigh slowly stood up staring at the floor of the cell then slowly making her eyes go to the wall then following the wall slowly to were the door was. She did this slowly because she knew if she looked over to the door to fast she'd see again how small and closed off the room was she was being kept in and that would only add to her mounting anxiety and panic right now. She quickly walked over to the door making sure not to look at anything else the whole time. There wasn't much to see through the small window the door gave. Where the hell am I? she wondered starting to bite her lower lip. She slowly walked backwards till her legs hit the bed and sat down on it pushing herself to the wall and bring her knees to her chest. What do I do now?

“Excellence is not a singular act, but a habit. You are what you repeatedly do.”

Kagura thought on it and realized it was just as stupid and risky as her own plan. Well, maybe they could mesh them both and make something that could work. She nodded to Kay, not finding her age odd at all.

"Yes I do. I can control the wind and read imprints in objects. That's why I didn't try my power like you did. Your plan does sound kind of stupid and risky...but we don't really have another option beside risky and stupid. You did however, leave out how we get them to handle us. The guard that was here before...he was utterly confident. I could be way off with this since I haven't had nearly enough to watch him....but he seems easy to insult or get angry. That would be very dangerous for us. But if one of us were to taunt him I think he would rise to the occasion and do what we want him to do. Open one of the doors and touch us so we can shock him." The plan could work. If they got extremely lucky...among other things. "Also....I volunteer to be the 'bait'. I'm useless in an all out fight, but I present a weak enough target that he might fall for it and get careless. However....we should probably try and wait as long as possible. I know that we have to hurry...but there are many flaws with our ideas. Also, if I keep randomly shocking myself I'll get used to it. My recovery time will get faster and that can only help us."

Kagura didn't mind if Kay had a better plan. Quite frankly...hers sucked. But it was logical, rational, and she could pull it off. Probably.

Kay Georgiy
Now we just need a guard.

And so it would have to if that's how thing were going to play through. "Stupid and risky are my kind of style. The question is, how much of a shock can he take? But that's a good point. How do we get them to touch us... Guess we just have to wait and hope we get lucky. Nothing better seems to be coming to mind, so we're going to have to go with what we've got. Stupid or not. It was just a matter of getting it right first time, as there definetly wouldn't be a second.

((Nearly finished this chapter. We'll be done by tommorow night for sure.))

The Mastermind
I should have seen this sooner.

Something wasn't right. There was something that hadn't been accounted for in his plans. His fingers tapped away at the keyboard in front of him at a rapid pace, trying to find where the one flaw was in his schematics. There! Damn, this makes things more difficult. A slight change in plans are in order then. Hitting a few more keys, his voice sounded out in the main laboratory. "Miss Reikart. There has been a few....complications on this end of the research. I find the results of the last batch to be as disappointing as I'm sure you do. However, I have narrowed down the number of subjects that DNA need be taken from. There should be a list of their names and room numbers on your screen about now. These are the ones that we must concentrate on now." The list was small. Only eight names in total. Four of them were on this floor, the others on the next down. Kay and Kagura were on the the list, placed as a floor down, Jayna and Kayleigh on the other floor. Four other names were also on the list, but they were nowhere near as powerful as the four he had been keeping an eye on. Closing the comms-link, he sat back in his chair with a frown on his face. Even though the last batch of DNA had all but failed, it was still useful to keep a hold of. There was no end to the secrets it could hold.

((In fact I lied. we're done now.))

Chapter Two

In one of the other cells, one of the other Immortals had finally had enough. His control of electricity gave him a certain advantage in the containment of himself. Moving up to the door, he activated his collar by sparking his hands in the metal of the door and let it run. Rather that hurting him the electricity flowed into the door and wiring that it was connected to. Almost immediatly he broke out in a sweat from the powerful flow as he found himself struggling to direct it all. As alarms sounded throught the entire complex, all the doors of the cells opened with a loud 'Clunk!' except the one of the young immortal. He had managed to weld his shut and had started shaking from the strain of controling the flow into the door. A few seconds later and it was too much. He let out a high pitched scream before lighting up as his power reversed on him, frying him is a second. In his own loss, he had managed to let everyone else loose into the building. He had traded his life for the chance of freedom for the rest of the immortals.

((Now to gt things started. The collars are staying on for now, but they shall be going soon.))

Kaileigh Noriko

Kaileigh jumped up as her door opened and she quickly ran out of it not caring for whatever might meet her outside it. She just wanted out of that small space. Outside the room she held on to the wall allowing herself to breath out one of her fears before another might take it's place. Looking around all she saw were other prisoners running and a long hallway. She gave a small tug on the collar around her neck, it was staying. She sighed starting to run down the hall hoping beyond all hhope that she wouldn't run into anyone she would have to fight.

Kagura was staring dejectedly at her cell door when she could feel a rush of power. Then the door swung open with a crash and she found herself staring at the open space. The door was just..gone. She stood in the frame of the door, looking left and right before she ventured out. Then she kicked into gear and hurried across to Kay's cell.

"Kay...! How did the doors open? It didn't hit you did it?"

Jayna struggled to her feet as her door slid open. "What the Hell?" A girl ran past her, heading farther down the hall. "Hey, kid!" Jayna called, leaning against the doorframe. "Any idea what's goin' on here?"

Kaileigh stopped and slowly turned around worried it just might be a guard or something who wanted to force her back into the cell. But as she looked the person over that had spoken she quickly realized that it was another prisoner like herself, "I don't really have a clue what happened here. Everyones door just suddenly opened."
