Kimya retracted with a shiver at the display. Still, he lowered his head with a sigh and slowly approached her, bumping his head into her side dejectedly. So it was his fault that they came? Couldn't he do anything right? And he'd even made her bleed, to top it all off.

She chuckled. "Damn Kim, I didn't know you were so brave! That was amazing!"

His paws shuffled uneasily as he tilted his head up to look at her. Hesitantly, he smiled and stood a little straighter.

Keantha

"You were like 'WHAM! Oh no you didn't, bitches!" She grinned, bouncing around him, reinacting his pounce. "Dragons didn't see it coming!"

And just like that, his worries were gone. He held up a paw hesitantly to get her attention, but when she kept bouncing around he put it on her back to keep her still as he wiped the blood off from underneath her nose.

She blinked at him, then smiled faintly. "Thank you...you didn't hurt me, you know. It just kinda startled me."

He shook his head gravely. He had hurt her and because he had hurt her she had almost died. Looking at her, he couldn't stay mad at himself. Kimya swatted her rump with his tail and padded off for a place to nap.
