That sounds exactly like Rajan. Though she sounds much much MUCH more controlled than he is. Rajan would have to be the worst fighter in my group of fighters. Even his mom knows how to fight better than him, and her power is literally raw strength. XD

((Err, sorry. I guess I shouldn't be eating this right now should I? *pulls out a plastic baggy and puts the raw onion in and tucks away in pocket.* hehe, I'll try to refrain from that next time..... *Dries eyes, and hands out tissues to everyone*))

Lol, I read the profiles. But, if it has genitals, and no powers against her, it can be seduced? I had to laugh at that one after I was done making a strange face. I was not expecting that, even for a profile on a succubus. My character has her control, because she generally avoids meat. Originally she was supposed to just be a lycan, of the vampire bat strain, but then I though, that's just the same as a vampire, but with more fur.... So I decided to twist it up a little, making her part succubus, since her original description actually made her look like one. In the end though, she was still too blood thirsty, so I changed her vampire bat to fruit bat. She eats fruits and stuff, so can generally avoid the temptations of eating flesh and stuff, until things start to get really bad.... And bloody. I also looked at your profile pic of her true form. I once saw a pic that was VERY close to what Shera looked like, but that was about a year ago, and I have not been able to find it since. It was in my pictures too, but either got lost, or deleted. Now I got to find someone who can draw her for me. I tried, but for some reason, I can only get her face/head drawn. Her body is one of the most difficult things I have tried to draw so far, and that's without the clothes, like some of my other characters.
((Alleo for example, I drew during school, half out of my mind. My best ideas and arts come from when I'm not...... Me, per say. When I'm bored, I've been known to do crazy origami shapes without using a book, drawn really good animals, weapons, and vehicles [though not perfect I admit, but still really good] and even finish my work and go to sleep without realizing how fast I breezed through my homework. That really irked the teachers when I did that. But hey, I got my work done, right?)).

O.o Uh, I'll stop here..... I gotta stop going on and on like this. I also think I got a bit off topic here too. Heh, I'm terrible when it comes to that. Lol.

Cade The Imperfect
Danger zone project: Now this project is pushing hard into gray and dangerous territory simply due to its description, but once i examine i think you will all begin to understand how this make work. Cade is fighting Aiko in one of the forums, and i was thinking about having it play out to have Cade get thrown some way or another at a pool of water. I was thinking about having Cade simply land on the water and walk on it like a ninja, when this crazy idea came to mind, Imperfects drain energy from the world around them so could Cade not just drain the energy from the water making it so it doesn't move? in some way trapping it in time? Now allow to explain the basis around the idea (not sure if i can really get this to work but ill try) If Cade drained energy from the lowest levels to the degree that the particles didnt have heat or energy to move back and forth i would mean the water itself would not change temperature (maybe i have to check). But it would prevent movement due to the lack of the energy needed for the particles of water to act. In a sense freezing time for the water? Crazy theory i know? what you think?

((Interesting but temperature, flow of energy, and time compression are all totally different aspects of matter that can't be manipulated so easily just by altering a single aspect of them. Particles don't have to act on their own and only DO act on their own if they are vibrated, OR, if the temperature is changed like you stated..HOWEVER. It wouldn't prevent movement because the energy required to move it is in possession of any animate object. For instance...the energy that water needs to move is always..always supplied by an outside force. For example...gravity...in rivers or what not. Another example would be wind or any living thing that physically applies -motion- -torque- -friction- or whatever kinetic/elemental energy you wish to use to direct energy to the water. By draining the energy from water...what are you reffering to? 1 part hydrogen and 2 parts oxygen is all that the molecules of water consists of. The particles in water wouldn't require heat to move back and forth and couldn't be contained unless there was something able to trap every individual molecule. Ice is a perfect example of what I'm getting at. If you freezed time altogether however, that would be a different story. Although, if one could stop time then one could defeat anyone in an instant correct?))

The ability to stop time is also a hot debate in many places. In my opinion, if one has the power to stop time, another has the power to resist that effect. Though on a smaller scale, what I think he may also be thinking is the kinetic energy from the water moving. You take that kinetic energy away, and the water can't move without further outside forces to make it move. So pretty much, if he can just stop the water from moving, (which he has powers over nature, right?) he doesn't have to "drain" the energy from the water, but just pretty much send out an energy of his own to keep the water from moving. Though as a visual twist, even if the water doesn't move, when he takes a step on it, it could shift under his feet, since his feet provide an outside force, but still be able to walk on it. ((Small rough example, in Naruto, they focus their "Chakra" to their feet, and use the energy to keep above the water, by adjusting the outage of Chakra used since water is in constant motion, an never consistent. Cade could do similar, only use like, an "Aura" or something, that just made the water pause making it seem solid, and he could walk on it, like it was sand or something. You know, like maybe he can walk on it, but it shifts under his feet like soft sand?)) Water is a very fickle thing to mess with. That's why one of my characters can use water in many ways, but the only way she stop it is by freezing it, or to walk on it, she can do something similar to the Naruto method, with the energy under her feet, but not quite the same thing, or since she can control water anyways, she can just use the water on the bottom of her feet and force it to float on top of the rest of the water. That way it's still in motion, and you don't have a lot of details to fiddle with. Any questions, and I think I can clear this up btw. So, was it too late to join this topic? I only threw in my opinion cause Velsieze brought it up, and I figured I'd say something as well since I was here.

(late to join the topic!? haha are you crazy, this topic is mean for discussions people will hope it and out and argue about ideas and concepts in here till the end of days. Cause frankly we are not going to feel the same way about everything. Like even the shadow realm and how it effects the material realm could be argued for hours to the extent of what is considered in the realm of "fair". But thats a whole other topic))

The reason i used the term "stop time" seems to be causing confusion as its seems to be taken to literally. When i mean pull energy from the water. I mean draw the heat, vibrations and basically what allows particles to interact which each other to cause moments. If this was done to water, using a "energy draw" to stop its movements down to the lowest level on interaction. In a sense I am stopping time for that water. Tho time itself has not been altered the water itself is no longer effects by any force outside, it would be aside it itself was outside of the current time frame. Its is a sense would be possibly even considered indestructible to mostly anything cause its cant be bent, shattered, evaporated. One could indeed transport its location and pick it up. But its partially frozen in time if the energy fro interactions in gone. Its a strange idea i know, that why i brought it up, Cause one could easily say it works while another could totally disagree. My problem which is is how do i use this without being like OK, i am a cheap b*****d you cant do anything.. kinda idea. I guess there is nothing stopping people from re-energizing the particles so arguable this power will have no effect on living beings that produce there own energy, certainly not combat related roleplay characters

And I quote: "what I think he may also be thinking is the kinetic energy from the water moving. You take that kinetic energy away, and the water can't move without further outside forces to make it move. So pretty much, if he can just stop the water from moving, (which he has powers over nature, right?)"

See? Like I said. Read more in my last post after this quote here. I talked about more than just stopping time. That was all part of me attempting to try to explain my opinion on this matter.

Here is the thing tho, Naruto and your post both suggest putting out energy. Cade has no intension of using energy and putting it out when its not need. After all his body drains energy from the world to survive if he start putting out energy like that and not save himself for bigger attacks he would mostly kill himself. Its why Cade doesnt often have long last battles and go straight for the kill. The method i want is through draining energy not putting out as i explained in my post above.

In essence, what you're trying to accomplishe makes sense if you drain the energy from the moecules of the water, since that's what makes it watery. When molecules slow down, it makes a solid, and to move, objects require energy. If you steal the energy from the molecular movement, then yes, you can walk on water. In theory.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 10, 2010 11:40 am

Yup. Drain the energy from the water. Take away the Kinetic energies that keep the water moving. Take that energy and use it for yourself. Naruto was an example of one way of doing things. Water is kept in motion through constantly moving particles. Those moving particles create energy. Kinetic energy. You take away their energy of motion, you got yourself a little extra power. I see how my post did lean on putting out energy, but to take away the energy that water makes while in motion, which keeps it in constant motion, the water then stays still, thus letting you walk on it as if you had turned it into ice, only not as cold and brittle as ice, and a bit cooler as well. I hope this is a bit better than my last post. Here again is my take on the subject, and my attempt at clearing things up. Sorry about any confusions and such.

Cade, I think where your getting confused with Ageddon's reference to Naturo is the fact that you're thinking she is referring to that exact method of exerting energy to interact where as I think she was simply trying to give an example relative to what she was trying to explain you could. She (as well as Caiyo and I) simply mean something like this:

Since your body is in essence, created by the elements, obviously water is one that can be absorbed and used by you. By coming into contact with the water, you can solidify it by having it's energy become part of yours, allowing you control over it. Were not trying to say you exert energy, were saying you directly control it.

So again, you are manipulating the energy directly, not exerting a force to counteract it like in Naruto.

Hope that clears up the confusion.

I thought I posted on this topic.. But I guess I didn't click submit last time. XD But I said that Amadeo's comment about magic earlier could discredit all scientific theories though. Maybe it can just be considered an ability of yours. If you would have said that during our fight; I wouldn't have argued at all. Simple as that.
