Lacrimosa at least had manners enough to keep eye contact on *********/>+ 10 respect points on ********* mental tally sheet.
Metis had at least a score of 100, and Iris had a score of maybe negative 10. It was such a wide spread with the scores.
She settled her rump down, then started off with "Questions..." The cat's tone was very pleasant, so it would be a bit disappointing when she ended the statement with "...will be answered after this."
Apparently the manx wasn't done yet. With a gentle laugh, she pointed out the obvious. "Now, we can't have you running around like that for the rest of your life, yes?" She lifted up a paw and gestured as best as a cat could at the pink outfit the tanned girl wore. Her paw settled back down on the concrete and ********* continued to talk rather casually about the situation. "Just think of yourself as you normally are, and you will change back."
This was obviously an invitation for Lacrimosa to do such. To make certain Metis did not get the wrong idea, the cat turned to the blind senshi and pointedly mentioned "You should probably stay the way you are right now, Metis. It will be more helpful right now."

She took the hand offered to her happily, giving a grin. "Of course. Though I think that might be my line," she added with a wink. It was Lacrimosa's Sakura Rain that drove the beast into the building, after all. Her hand fell back to her side, brow perking as she listened to the two. Now what was her question? It was going to have to wait it seemed, though with ********* gentle turn to another important subject, her curiosity would just have to hold on a bit longer than expected.
The explanation for how to henshin down hadn't even invited the idea that she should do the same - she was out in the city, without her cane, without Raja. Reverting to her usual self would have undoubtedly brought more problems than was necessary, unless someone was willing to escort her back to her dorm. So when the feline added her note for her to remain as Metis, she only nodded, hands clasping behind her back as if to say "I won't do anything." Her gaze then flicked from ********* on the ground to Lacrimosa's face, rather excited about the idea she could meet another senshi when they're a civilian.

Normally are huh? Seemed a simple enough explanation on how to revert back. Though it still took her a moment to focus enough to do so, as she was curious what Metis looked like in civilian form and why she couldn't do the same.
When she finally managed to revert back it was nothing special, the fuku faded and she was once again Melody Klein. She was almost disappointed that there wasn't much to it. Almost. With a small sigh of relief she smoothed down her school uniform skirt then turned back to the cat.
"Now about my question." Questions? She should likely ask about the cellphone, but suddenly it didn't seem so important. "This will sound weird, I know it will.. But earlier this afternoon I could feel that monster. Since I woke up in the hospital after the supposed organ ring incident I could feel them. After I transformed into Lacrimosa I couldn't."
She wasn't complaining, not at all. Because she enjoyed the lack of buzzing in the back of her head. "Do you... know why that is?"

The tailless cat was a good listener. She listened with her eyes as well as her ears. Of course, ********* had not gotten the girl's civilian name yet, but that could wait for a little bit. However, the question sounded completely foreign to the manx.
She was too new a cat to really know all of the details about any organ ring incident. It had all taken place and was wrapped up neatly before ********* even set paw in this city. It was a pity, because it sounded rather intriguing.
If she had a tail, it would have flicked as she spoke, but instead, no tail meant not tail flicking. "That is indeed a question, and a doozy of a question, that's for sure!" Fortunately, ********* was no Astraea, for the spotted feline offered a small chuckle to signal that the question had been okay to ask.
"I don't think I can answer that one so well. I only just recently arrived." Well, that was one way to put it. Magically popped into existence usually was a hard one to explain. "The only thing I can think of is that maybe something had happened to your starseed."
For a moment, pale green eyes shifted from the tan girl's face to the sky, as if pondering the answer.
"It is a strange ability, to sense Youma though... um... I'm sorry, but I your name again?"

Copper waves etched with silver reverted back to their normal, non-accented versions, and Metis took in this time to examine the figure before her. The school uniform struck her first, familiar in its tell-tale figure and design. So she went to Crystal. Her expression was light, happy to see she might be able to finally speak to a classmate about this other aspect of her life.
She listened as the blonde asked her rather interesting question, brow furrowing in confusion. How was it possible for civilians to sense the youma? It was a little disheartening to hear ********* didn't have the answer to that mystery - did anyone?
Her empty eyes traveled up uselessly, focusing her mental sight on the girl's face. And blinked. Not once, not twice, but quite a few times. That hairstyle she'd thought she recognized before was all the more obvious now that she was standing face-to-face with her. She'd seen it only once, fighting that youma with Sailor Polaris. That voice? Metis couldn't stop the utter shock and bewilderment on her face from shifting to pure and utter joy. "Melody!" The name was out of her mouth before she stopped to think about - oh hey, she can't recognize her while she's suited up. Or... could she?

She wasn't surprised the cat didn't have an answer, hadn't been expecting her to have one honestly. But it had been worth asking because she would have ever known otherwise. She gave the cat a smile, though it was tinted slightly with a bit of sadness, and nodded all the same.
She went to introduce herself, as that seemed more appropriate then asking about star seeds (what ever those were), but was cut off as another voice called her name instead. There was surprise as she turned to face Sailor Metis, utter confusion visible in bright browns. Her head tilted.
"Yes, that's my name... But how do you know it?" Oh she hoped that didn't come off rude, she wasn't trying to be! She'd offer apologies if the other thought so.

Apparently the girl was named Melody, but Melody What was the question now. The cat was just as surprised as the newly introduced Melody and turned to look at the blind Senshi.
********* was not about to hide the facts. "Well, logically this just means she knows you when she is not Sailor Metis. Obviously, you aren't Sailor Lacrimosa all the time, so she obviously is not Sailor Metis all of the time."
She gave a firm nod (accented with a slight jingle), then added "However, if she wants to share her identity with you, it will have to be saved for another time. I need her like this right now for our patrol."
Indirectly, ********* was trying to train Metis as well, but that didn't need to be mentioned at the moment.

Well didn't she feel like an idiot. A blush flared upon her face, apologetic smile peeking out as she glanced between ********* and Melody. Her own little nod stated what the cat said was true - Metis did know her when she wasn't Metis. Telling her she was a classmate, however, didn't seem like the smartest thing to do at the time. It was starting to occur to her saying anything at all had been a potentially bad thing to do.
After hearing the patrol was apparently to continue, she held out her hand, grasping her phone out of the apparent subspace it was apparently stored in while in senshi form. "You have your cellphone, correct?" To Metis, it wasn't a question of if ********* gave it to her, but rather, if Melody still had it on her person. "You can use it to scan me and get my number, then you can call me whenever you're free. I can answer your question then," she added with an embarrassed little wince, still not believing she'd just blurted out her name like that before.

Her own blush of embarrassment formed and Melody gave a quick bow of apology. Of course it would mean Metis knew her outside of senshi-dom! Oh boy, wasn't she just making the best of impressions all ready.
At the question involving her cellphone, the blonde blinked then patted around for it. Finding it in her skirt, she pulled it out and looked at it. "This thing?" How in the world could it scan some one and get numbers?

If it wasn't obvious that the cat was somewhat anxious to get going, it would soon enough become even more obvious. She began to lift up one forepaw, then switch to the other, switching back and forth between the two as if the ground was really hot.
"Metis, show her how to use that cellphone, and then we need to get going."
No, not a want. They needed to get going to finish off that patrol.

Metis was only too happy to move along to a new topic, nodding to ********* as she stepped towards Melody. She was unable to see the other girl's blush, though the bow did bring up a sheepish grin to pop up. She flipped open her own dark phone, turning herself so that Melody would be able to see the screen. "This is the main menu," she started simply, moving through the options as the soft digital voice directed her around to the scan menu. She didn't bother to say 'go to the scan menu' due to the presence of the voice, but did add in, "Then you just hold it up to the person and there you go." Upon trying this, she rose a brow to hear nothing from the phone to say it was scanning Melody. "Seems you can only do it when the other senshi is powered up." Useful to know.
From there she returned to showing her some of the other functions, mainly the map screen and how it was used to track a single senshi at a time. "You'll need to call them first before you can track them and they cannot be in their civilian form if you wish to track them. Calling someone as a civilian is perfectly fine though." She paused, wondering what other functions she might have forgotten. The mechanical voice kept chiming in as she fiddled around with the phone, showing at least the location of the contacts list and various other little things. "That should be it. Anything else I'm sure you'll be able to figure out with a little bit of playing with it." Nothing else that she could think of required someone else who was henshined up, anyways.
She looked towards *********, hoping the cat would speak up if Metis really was missing something important. She'd tried to keep things short and sweet and fast, seeing her so impatient to get back on patrol. Not that this was in any way a problem to the brunette - the youma attack had sped up her pulse, but she wasn't necessarily drained and yearning for her bed yet. A little more looking for other scouts and ensuring people were safe never hurt anyone.
Usually.

As Metis showed her how to use the phone, in which she managed to successfully get the other senshi's number stored in the database, she thought she understood how it worked. If not she could always just mess around with it as was suggested and prayed she didn't break it. If only she had a tech savvy friend she could trust with this information to help her.
With no questions needing to be asked about the cell phone coming to mind, though she knew she'd likely have some later much to her dismay, the blonde smiled and put her cellphone away.
"Thank you for your help, and showing me how to use it. I have your number, so I can always call if I have questions?" Tilting her head, she flashed a smile to the senshi and then to the cat who seemed impatient to leave. "I should probably get going and leave you to finish your patrol. My roommate might get worried if I'm out any longer, I told her I'd be back at a certain time."

"Good work Metis!"
None could accuse ********* of being a stickler when it came to offering well-earned compliments. Iris might attempt to make such an argument, but in all honesty, it was because the tomboy rarely earned the compliments.
If only, if only!
Since the official introductions were done, the cat's feet stopped their strange little dance. Her green eyes were upon the tanned girl. "It was wonderful meeting you, Melody, and we will both see you again, I am certain. Maybe next time we will have time to chat!" With what one could assume to be a feline smile, the cat then suddenly began to lead the way, leaving very little time for Metis to offer her own farewells.
There was work to be done. The city never slept, so ********* and her girls never had time to really rest.

She gave a quick little nod, grinning. "Of course! I'd be happy to help anyway I can." She might not have been a technical wizard, but she'd certainly try. Metis was quite pleased at the moment, that's for sure. To see a friend of hers become a senshi, it wasn't something she'd experienced before - to be able to talk to another scout while not in a fuku about everything, now there was a thought.
As ********* said her farewells and turned, Metis for a moment paused, watching the glittering yellow aura before turning back to Melody. At least she also had a place to go, so they didn't have to be rude about running off. "We'll most certainly talk later, I can promise you that." What would Melody say when she realized whom the black and teal suited girl was? A part of her couldn't wait. Still all grins, she bobbed her head in a little good-bye, lifting her hand to wave as she used the other to send the phone back to the subspace. "Bye for now, Melody~"
With that, the brunette focused on where ********* had gone, and quickly followed. Boots clicking against the ground, it wasn't long before she vanished after the feline. Sure she could look forward to seeing her friend again later, but for now, there was work to be done.
Work that she thankfully - generally - enjoyed.
