Hearing Jake's perfect timing inasking his question, Foust stabbed his right sword into the ground. Next, he slapped his forhead with the palm of his hand, and said,"Now is not the time, dude. Think of the situation, we have a dangerous being out here, and you want to ask those kind of questions." Foust wasn't trying to be mean, but given the situation, Jake shouldn't have asked a question like that at the moment. Now, using Jake as bait, was a good idea to Foust. The kid needed to learn the hard way, but he would still be safe. After all, Foust did ive the kid his word.

"Sorry Captain I have always been the type of person to ask a lot of questions" Jake became very serious for he was to become bait so to speak. "Since you gave me your word im ready"
Jake prepaired his weapon dusted off his clothes and bowed to his Captain and his V-C."He should be terrified that he is fighting squad thirteen" Jake then put his left hand on his sword and held it tight completely ready for battle.

"Alright, Captain, I think your plan will work well." Sayuri said as she raised her hand to her lips. She was planning courses of action in case the Semi-Menos changed its mind unexpectedly. I'm sure the Captains plan will work splendidly, but there is always a chance that the hollow will change its patterns....
Suddenly Jake asked a question, which snapped Sayuri's attention back to reality.My Shikai? the untimely question had an innocent objective, but it was untimely Jake-kun, if you don't mind could I tell you after we have cleasned the Semi-hollow?

"Ok then, let's get the show on the road. Jake, stay here, and don't hurt yourself. Sayuri, let's take it to the sky." Foust showed he was ready o commence the plan by seeming in a hurry. He usually doesn't care, but since it was Australia in danger, there was an exception. This was still instinct though. He didn't know why he wanted to protect this place so badly. Yeah he was entitled to protect everyone in every place, but he wanted to make sure Australia, remained safe always. To him, he thought it to be weird, but if he knew that was where he grew up, then he would understand.
Foust jumped up into the air, and used shunpo to land in midair. Once again he jumped again on the air to get even higher. After he was high nough that he could see anything coming from miles away, he shouted,"Sayuri, your turn to use shunpo." When he shoutd he sounded happy for some reason. Then, he started to think to himself,"I am glad Sayuri is my vice captain. No one else could fit better than her." Foust shook his head to snap out of his random transe, and gotready for the task at hand. He needed to make sure his spirtual pressure didn't go too high. If it did, the pressure could send Sayuri to the ground, and it wouldn't be pleasent.
Foust closed his eyes as a breeze blew against his clothes. His left sleeve and captain's top blew in the wind, and Arana picked then to speak," So Foust, I was just wondering. Have you taken a liking to your leiutenant? " Foust opened his eyes wide, and shouted,"What are you talking about?" Foust didn't realize he spok outloud, or that he was rather loud. Arana spoke again," Never mind, I think with that out burst I got my answer. Now let's get ready for battle. " "Hey Arana, don't change the subject. Ah fine, I talk to you later."

Sayuri watched as her Captain jump into the air and then called for her to follow. Right before she lept up she looked one last time at the sky. Captain Foust seems so happy. He seems to be at home here in Australia, even more at home than in the Soul Society... she thought dreamily before she made a large leap into the sky.
For a moment Sayuri seemed to dissapear due to her black hair and shinigami uniform, but when she stood still in the faint moonlight you could make out her figure."I'm ready to go Captain Foust!" she said as she drew out her zanpakuto."I'm sorry to say this, Captain, but I couldn't find any information on this peticular hollow. I don't know how strong it will be or if kido will work on it....."
Why are you saying sorry to him? Its not your fault that this hollows unrecorded! said an annoyed Awaihiko. Awaihiko's responce to what Sayuri believed to be her own fault caused her to sigh. Awai, you've never had to gather information before in your life, so you just don't understand....

With the moon shining on them both, it made them look like divine warriors. Foust turned to her, and got distracted for a second from seeing her in the moon light. He blinke twice in aw, and then slapped his forehead thinking,"Great, Arana had to bring up the leiutenant right when she apears here in he moonlight." Foust could hear Arana laughing in he back of his head, so he shook his head a few times. He was starting to it think his spirit was right.
"Let's go ahead, and start raising our spiritual pressure. This hollow shouldn't be able to resist this much power." Foust started to raise his spirtual pressure as if he was about to use shikai. It was almost as high as a few minutes ago, when he saved his little squad member. Foust made sure he didn't let it raise too high though. As he maintained his shikai like spiritual pressure, he looked around to see if there was any movement. He didn't sense anything either, so he figured the beast hadn't got to them just yet.

Jake watched as his superiors almost disappered in the moonlight. "I just hope this works" Jake thought to himself. "I trust my superiors but im still scared of this hollow he seems very powerful" Jake began to wonder why he was talking to himself.
Jake got bored so he sat down and started to play with the grass. "Stupid hollow hurry up i wanna hurry up and go back to the barracks" He then jumped up remembering that this was mission. "I am definatly get scorned for this one" Jake thought. "Captain do you see the hollow yet?"

((I'm assuming we have gentai kaijo))
Sayuri stared out into the surround darkness with a determined look on her face. She wasn't going to let her squad members get hurt today, even if it cost her major damage. At her Captain's command Sayuri released her spirtual pressure to the gentai kaijos' limit. After she was done she looked over at her Captain, the visible part of her face smiling pleasently. I will do anything to please Captain Foust... she told herself. It seemed even her spirit was pleased at her determination
Hey Sayuri! Look alive, will you? No matter how determined you are, determination won't stop the hollows! Especially not when the determined person isn't even looking the way she is supposte to be! Alright Awai! I get the point! Sayuri thought to the spirit of her zanpakuto. After a few minutes Sayuri felt a large spirtual pressure heading towards the group."Captain, theres an spirtual pressure comming this way!" she yelled. The light from the moon reflected off her zanpakuto as Sayuri took a more agressive fighting stance.

Turning to the direction the hollow's spiritual pressure was coming from,"I see, get ready for a fight my lovely vice captain. My gut tells me this isn't going to go well." Foust's gut never steered him in the wrong direction. It was the same thing like when people follow there heart. Scanning the area, Foust couldn't help but seem worried. There was something odd about the spiritual pressure he was sensing. It was like there was a sudden serge in the hollows power. The spirtual pressure was even stronger than a minos grande's should be. It was hard to figure out what could be going on, but Foust lowered it down to two theorys.
The hollow could have evolved into a arrancar, thus explaining the sudden power serge. That was a common thing among the stronger hollows. They would either become arrancar or minos grande. The other theory was that there was more than on hollow. There could have been a bunch of minos grande coming there way. These ideas were the only explanation Foust could think of.
Turning to his vice captain, he began to think this was going to get out of hand. Looking down to Jake he started to think Jake would get hurt too. So many bad thoughts went through his head. Foust summoned a hell butterfly, and sent a message back to the soul society. It said," Please begin the necessary tasks for releasing the gentai kaijo. On my signal, I want it released. I might need more power here, so please this is an emergency."
Foust was so worried about his comrads, he began to think of turning to his, not yet mastered, bankia. If he used it, he wasn't sure if he could control it. His spiritual pressure could go berserk, and someone might get hurt. That his something he wouldn't be able to forgive himself for. Turning back to Sayuri," If things get bad, I want you to take jake, and get he hell out of here. I think things are going to get really bad, and I don't want you two to get hurt." It was easy to tell Foust was concerned for his squad's safety. Sayuri adnd Jake were like family to Foust, and were the people he cared about most. He would go the distance to make sure they would not die. " Foust, you are not alone, I will be by your side no matter what. You can say no all you want, but I will still lend you my power. " All Foust could do was nod his head yes to the matter.

Jake was still standing there all alone when he noticed that his Captain looked very nervous. He had never seen Captian Foust so tense and worried. Jake wasnt worried about this though he knew that his Captain would protect his squad no matter what. Jake knew this because he could feel that captian had felt this was his family. Jake had never had real family before but Squad thirteen was his family now anyway.
"Captain, I know you are nervous but i would like to say I belive in you." "You and V-C Sayuri are like family and i know you will protect us no matter what" Jake was hoping this helped his Captain. He was nervous as well but he knew how to hide his true emotions in real danger. referring back to when he was alive he did this a lot before he died. Jake then grabbed his sword very strongly and said "Captian if theres anything i can do to help let me know" Jake didnt think that there was much he could do but he would try.

Sayuri looked back at her captain, worry for him ran across her face. I don't want to leave Jake here, that is the same with me, but I refuse to leave Captain Foust! Even if I only help a little, I'll come back! Sayuri thought to herself. "Captain Foust, I agree to take Jake-kun if things get out of hand, but I'm going to come straight back here to help out! Captain, will you make a pact with me? Please promise me that you won't froget that we of squad 13 fight as a team!" Sayuri said this with a new kind of strength. Not from strength of the arm, but of the heart. She wanted him to know that as a member of the family that squad 13 is, she wanted to be there to help him in anyway possible.
Sayuri! Stop talking, something is comming! After hearing Awaihiko Sayuri stopped talking and concentrated on the darkness that laied out in front of her. I can't fight an enemy I can't see. Awaihiko, are you ready?Silly girl, I was born ready!"Captain, I'm going to release my shikai! Gather all Light and Shatter Darkness, Awaihiko!" This time as Sayuri releaced her Shikai the blade lit up the surrounding area with a bright silver light. Squinting from the sudden light Sayuri couldn't see properly. When she opened her eyes two Menos Grande were directly infront of her. H-how did they get so close without me noticing?!

Now looking downward with different emotions flowing through him, he said,"I promise." Foust could only say those few words at the time. He was short on what to say at the time, and felt it to say just that. Foust did have one other thing to say to Sayuri," Remind me to ask you something once this is all over then."
As his sweet vice captain released her zanpakuto, Foust smiled." Nice of you to join us, Awaihiko." Once his light shined around the area, the hollows appeared. There were two of them, and they had achieved the form of minos grande. Suddenly, Foust noticed they were still under the impression that Jake was the high spiritual being. Both of the minos began to charge a cero, almost in sync. It was as if they had planned a battle strategy. Foust knew what was going to happen next, and shouted to Sayuri," Get Jake out of here, now!" As he shouted, he pushed his body forward in Jake's direction. The minos grande(s) had just fired their red cero, and the blasts sort of fused together from being so close.
Using flash step, Foust appeared in front of Jake, facing him with his arms spread out to protect Jake. With his back towards the minos, he was now the target. The ceros put together hit Foust's back dead on. The blast had covered Foust entirely, but Jake could be seen a few feet in front of him. Jake remained untouched by the ceros, but Foust was still covered in it at the time. As the cero burned his back, Foust could only hope his vice captain could get to Jake in time. The cero finished, and all that could be seen was smoke, where Foust stood. As it cleared up, Foust could finally be seen. The back of his shinigami top was burnt completely, and the captain's robe was almost completely gone. All Foust did was stand there with his eyes wide open. From anyone else's position, it would seem undetermined whether, or not he was ok.

"I'll get him to safety, Captain & I'm holding you to that promise!" shouted Sayuri after the shock from the Menos(s) appearance passed. Never did I think about the chance of two Menos Grande! Sayuri thought obiovsly dissapointed in herself. She was about to shunpo to Jake when the two Menos began charging a cero simultaneously. No! They'll destroy him! Sayuri yelled in her mind. She rushed forward to grab him, but stopped when her captain suddenly apeared before Jake.
Dread filled Sayuri as the duel ceros merged and hit her captain directly on his back. "Captain!!"she yelled on the top of her lungs. Sayuri could still feel both Jake's and Captain Foust's spiritual pressure, which allowed her to calm herself for a moment before she used shunpo to get to Jake. "Sorry Jake, but I need to get you away from here!" she whispered in his ear before grabing him from his waist and bringing him to the top on a nearby tower. From the tower Jake could watch the fight all without getting hurt."We'll be back soon!" she said as she gently let Jake down and shunpoed away.

Jake was terrified as he saw the two menos grande shoot a giant cero at him. Then all of a sudden his Captain apperad in front of him blocking the cero with his own body. "Captain!" Jake yelled as the ceros hit the courages man in front of him. Jake began to say something but stopped after hearing his V-C whispering "Sorry Jake, but I need to get you away from here!"
Jake was then brought to a tall tower where he would be able to see the whole fight. After Sayuri had shunpoed back to the fight Jake had began to cry. Jake was devastated to see his new found family being attacked by these horriable creatures. Jake then screamed thinking that no one whould hear him. "I hate not being able to help!" Jake was furious because of the event going on but unfortantly he had sit there and watch this horriable fight.
