Angel of the Doctor
supercalisto
I just watched it and enjoyed it alot. I found it funny, exciting and a little sad ( when pond waiting all night for him broke my heart) I don't think he loves her just intrests him like most humans. I have high hopes so far. The only bit I didnt like were the snow flake eyes balls looked a bit crappy. And he didnt say "sorry" which i got soo sick of from the 10th doctor

I agree with you completely.
I felt SO bad for Amy when I realized how long she had to wait.
In short, the Doctor OWED her big time.
The eye was a bit...weird.
I wished he could've said sorry.

Nah I sick of him saying sorry all the time from the 10th doctor, say glad he didnt

About this whole millennium dome/O2 arena thing, it's obvious he made a jump after the TARDIS doors closed, because he was in London and ended up in a village in the middle of nowhere. If he jumped 50 miles or whatever, who's to say he didn't jump in time as well?

I thought I'd end up hating Matt Smith and cringed when they changed both the opening theme some and the logo. However after watching the episode, I'm not that upset and I didn't hate Matt Smith as I thought I would. Now I'm just more curious as to what they future episodes will hold. Sure the skyline might/might not have been off, but in the scheme of things I just think that's a minor detail.

That episode was pretty good. The Tardis is in good hands with the 11th Doctor.

Also To address the questions about the 14 years thing (And the statments) What this meant was when he came back the first time it was 12 years later then after the tardis was reparied he left then came back but when he came back the 2nd time he got the flight wrong and came back two years after his last visit. So that totals up to 14 years. My problem is if when he came back 12 years after his first visit and that was suppose to be 2010 dosen't that mean that he took Amy from 2012? or is it 2010 when he comes back 2 years after the Prisoner Zero events?

If this is a dream, the whole world is inside it.

I KNEW Matt Smith was going to do a good job. I knew it I knew it I knewwwww iiitttt : falls over: Sorry, I just finished watching it and I am having a serious geek/squee moment over here. I was a tad bit shocked when I heard the new opening theme, but I kinda like the new logo. I ALSO like the fact that the main character's name is Amelia (cuz that's my name) even if she does change it from Amelia to Amy. Whatever.
I am so excited for the rest of the season. I may or may not come back and edit this post to correct any extreme gushing, but man, this is RAD!

I thought it was a great start off episode...imagine if you've never watched Doctor Who before, and it looks good...even with the past 10 Doctors it's great.

the way the alien cops said Prisoner Zero was great and the giant eyeball was great, I was yelling EYEBALL!!!..gotta poke it all!

The only real way you can see it early is by watching in on YouTube (or some other video thing).
I did so by going to Wonder-Con and seeing the episode 2 weeks early. But, the convention has ended.

Yes! *points and jumps*...kidding, but yeah, that was exactly the same thing I assumed as well.

Michael Jacksons Corpse
Yeah he falls in love with her in the first 20mins.. well, 2mins. it's sad and THEY KISS later on.
What the heck are you talking about? I JUST finished watching it and there's nothing like what you're talking about.

She even asks him why he'd bring her, and he confirms her query that it's because he's lonely now. Not because he falls in love with her or nonsense like that. And she's engaged. neutral rolleyes

I still don't quite understand why so many people hate Matt Smith. I'm assuming it's just mainly because he replaced David Tennant, and if that's the case, I must admit, I think it's kind of pathetic. David was an awesome Doctor, but he's not the Doctor anymore, so get over it.

Unless the scene is deleted later on, he confirms it in episode 4. You get the idea he cares for her though or he wouldn't of seen the need to keep going back for her.
In episode 4, he looks at Amy and says something that hints he picked her up because he liked her but he didn't say he loved her.
They do kiss later on though but it's Amy who seems to be doing the forcing and you will understand why when it happens but you can tell that DW liked it.

Ah ok, well my internet sucks greatly so I will just wait another 5 days to watch it on BBC America, April 17 at 8 pm! I suppose that if I am a good girl my patience will pay off in the end, I am sooo ready for a new season of Doctor Who! Plus before the Eleventh Hour comes on accordding to my DVR schedule they are ahvin a short special on about the history of past Doctors.
