the rules state that you can not vote to negate the vote of the person who voted before you so if I voted to make book 'A' worth 2 and then bob came and voted to make book 'A' worth 1 he would be negating my vote... Just to let ya know...

Negating the vote would have been:
Kitty voting for Order of the Phoenix
Against HBP
and then Avatar coming up next to
vote against Order of the Phoenix
For HBP
Or me voting for Order of the Phoenix and against Deathly Hallows after Avatar's votes.
See the difference?? No rules were broken, you just misunderstood.

Ok Icee, so I can vote like the following then...
HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban - 8
HP and the Goblet of Fire - 10
HP and the Order of the Phoenix - 13
HP and the Deathly Hallows - 4
I just voted to raise Order of the Phoenix by 1
and voted to lower Prisoner of Azkaban by 1
negating the vote of anticupid in regards to Order of the phoenix but that is what was done by avatar taking 1 from Order when 1 was just before added to it
and by you taking one from Hallows when just before 1 was added to it.
So my vote above is not negating the vote of the previous poster?

No because if you negated her vote that would mean you gave a point back to OotP and took a vote from Deathly Hallows.
How can you negate the vote of the previous poster if her vote away from DH is still there? Is it making sense?
(read the second rule again, it explains exactly what I've been trying to say)

meree Game play:
2.You may not vote in a way that would cancel out the vote of the person before you. You may still vote for or against the same person, but you can not vote for the character the last person voted against and then vote against the character that person voted for, if that makes any sense to you
