CrazyRob yeah i only remember having a few in the GCN version. i had to use them sparingly I never got them in the GCN version. I'm so sick of getting them in the DS version that I just keep one buried so no others pop up. However, does that burying characters and hitting them over the head work in DS because it sounds like it might be fun?

GohanWinner You know what ticks me off?
Nook does not stock shovels, axes or anything like that in my store. I got my axe from a friend, but it's no use without a shovel...
I'm surprised I managed to get a fishing rod and net.
Even though fish never bite, and there's no bugs around.
>=O Nook keeps stocking the same things in my version. It's always like shanty mats or cabin walls. I miss being able to do all the chores like in the old one. I know you can talk to people and do stuff for them, but I feel like I got more items when I did it on GC.

dburger CrazyRob yeah and you'd still have to lug around a controller wherever you go since it wouldn't be a true hand-held system with the controller built-in whee True 'dat, I hear you holla' playa. razz @Jin -- do you like the DS? It took me a long time to get used to, and I still am adjusting. The only game I have for it is Castlevania. 3nodding I love my DS *huggles DS* I easily got use to it..Actually I love any game that has to do with the whole touch screen thing...Though sadly all I got to play is Yugioh and Mario Kart DS and no way to get online with them.

What is with this "slim" trend? Slimmer iPods, slimmer phones, slimmer game systems... Am I the only one who would be afraid to BREAK this s**t?

Lady Leonardo What is with this "slim" trend? Slimmer iPods, slimmer phones, slimmer game systems... Am I the only one who would be afraid to BREAK this s**t? well that's just the way technology is. like getting more stuff into something smaller. just like how cell phones back in the day used to be giant and now they're little itty-bitty things. lol but nintendo usually makes quality products that are built tough 3nodding

Slims things have certainly made my life easier. I can walk around with all kinds of crap in my pocket now. xD A slimmer DS will benefit me muchly in school, as I won't have a huge hulking mass in my pocket! Also, it will benefit me when the new Pokemon games come out, as I'll have two DSes, to trade freely between the two games. <___<

I don't feel the need for super slim everything. I love my iPod mini, I don't need a super slim one. I love my cell phone, and my DS, I don't need super slim versions. And that teeny tiny GBA? WHAT the hell?! That just is a pain in the a** all around.
Small is not always better. whee

*L* I just told someone this about the iPod Nano and thought it applied here.
I don't need this thin technology! I want to know I can sit on my mini and know it won't break!

I like that my phone is smaller since it means I can carry it in my pocket, but I'm plenty comfortable with my DS being the size it is. I don't find it too big, maybe because it's blue it just looks slimming.

I would like my DS smaller.
Only because I have no room in my pockets and I hate stuffing it in my schoolbag. =/ Not that I can play in school anymore anyway... Darn losing my study hall! >=0
So yeah I haven't even played DS in a while. NOOO. crying
