"Ya! Like a bunny!" She hopped around, pushing herself up with both feet. She giggled, watching Hayden do it too. He looked so silly. She tried to hop around the tree, but slipped and fell. As she landed with a thud, and egg fell from her basket and broke up to show a carnage of cut up tissue paper and glitter. Her eyes began to water.

Hayden giggled a bit, but stopped as he heard a thump. He turned and looked to Freya, who was now flat on her behind and starting to cry. "Freya!" He hobbled over, noticing the egg and it's spilled contents. "Oh no... Your egg broked.... Are you okay?" He offered her a hand, frowning unhappily.

Serena held onto Thalia's hand tightly. They both held baskets in their hands. Serena's basket was lilac purple with fake white flowers around it. Thalia's was red and orange with lots of ribbons. In the basket was her stuff doll that she always carried around. "Mommy Shells said we gotta stick with each other." Serena reminded.
Sheepishly, Thalia nodded her head. She looked around at the other kids and hoped Scorpy, her stuff doll, was not too scared of the other kids. The two girls started to look around for eggs together.

Freya couldn't decide which was the bigger disaster, falling down or losing her egg. It didn't matter, it was too much for her to all process well. Tears started to fall down her face as small sobs pushed themselves forcefully out of the little girl's mouth. She made that egg look pretty, too. She hardly even thought about the two dropletss of blood on her dress from the small scrape on her hand, a mark from where she had tried to stop herself from falling.

"Uh-oh..." Hayden stared at Freya for a few moments, wondering what to do. "Imma be right back Freya!" He patted her shoulder and sat his basket down before he toddled off to find Blaise. "Nurse lady nurse lady! Freya fell down!" He called to her as he approached, now running.

"Yes, this is the right place.. And the Parent Meet-Up is right over there in the Gymnasium." she replied, pointing in the direction of the Gym as she smiled. As a small boy approached the table and ask for a basket, she could only giggle to herself, as she then picked up a basket off of the table and handed it to him. "There you go, there are eggs all over the field with all kinds of prizes in them!" she explained as she let him run off to play. She sighed with relief, things weren't so bad out there, watching the kids, everything seemed to be going well. Before Blaise could really finish her thought on how no one had been hurt, she suddenly heard a bit of a ruckus coming from near some bushes as a boy ran up to her. She jumped up as soon as she heard that someone had fallen down as she darted over as quickly as she could. Blaise knelt down to Freya. "Are you okay? Where does it hurt?" she asked, the first questions she normally asked to assess how bad of a fall one might have taken.

Gavin hunted for a while on his own and successfully found a few more eggs. Though without Keiran, he had to admit that he was starting to feel a bit lonely so he took his eyes off the ground and bushes and looked around at who else was there.
He only saw two other kids he recognized. There was Hayden who was with some girl he'd never met who appeared to be hurt, and Giovanni who seemed to have gotten tackled by another kid he hadn't met. He liked both Gio and Hayden, but he kind of wanted to meet a few new friends so he continued to peer until he spotted Cedric. He walked over with a smile. "Hi there!" he grinned. "I'm Gavin." Hopefully this kid wouldn't try to take his eggs like Kei had.
Keiran simply wasn't having any fun on his own now either, so he ended up doing the same thing as Gavin and peering around the field. The first person he spotted who wasn't near Gavin was Anox. He wasn't really picky about who his new friends would be so he toddled over and waved to Anox. "Hello." then he peered into Anox's basket and saw he hadn't found any eggs yet. "You jus' start?" He asked. Since Gavin had been taking all the eggs Kei was almost on the same page as Anox and he thought it would be fun for them to start on almost the same page.

Disgruntled serpentine curls bounced against Adeline's neck as the purple-skinned girl ran through grass, her chest rising and falling wildly as she tried to catch her breath. What was the point in trying to babysit her brother in a place like this? He was going to run off on his own anyway; but rationally she knew Theo was going to get himself into a lot of trouble if she didn't have a general idea of where he was hiding. Reaching out desperately, her fingers just brushed the back of the fairy's shirt when she snapped closed on it, forcing the toddler to come to a dead stop and continue flailing anyway. He was dressed in his usual stripes, unlike herself with the sheer, floaty yellow dress and big purple hairbow. It gave hint that perhaps she had intended to go to the ball, but chickened out.
"No, dumbhead, we're late! The eggs! Let-go-of-me." The bumblebee talked with an awkward, disjointed sort of drawl that was funny even for a toddler. It was even more baffling, seeing as the words were coming from an impossibly pointy mouth of teeth. Theodore became impatient with his sister, and whacked her with the Easter basket he had come equipped with. His lips were pursed under narrowed eyes, as if he were actually the one dealing with a younger sibling. "We wanna hunt-now!"

Basket in hand, Sorrel wandered through the grassy area designated for the egg hunt. Unlike Adeline, it was clear that the blue-haired girl had intended to go on the egg hunt from the start; she wore a simple outfit of a t-shirt, shorts, and a pair of clunky sneakers, all clothes fit for running around outdoors for a few hours. Her eyes were focused intently on the ground as she scanned it for any hint of a brightly-coloured Easter egg; she already had a meager few in her basket, but it didn't seem she was going to be stopping any time soon. In fact, she was concentrating so hard that she almost walked right by Adeline and Theo - only the sound of the straw basket hitting the purple-skinned girl broke her out of her trance and she looked up, startled. When she caught sight of the other girl, however, her eyes brightened.
"Adeline!" Sorrel exclaimed as she altered her course to walk towards the other two children. "Hi! Are you -- oh." Upon catching sight of Theo, she paused, more startled than anything. "Who's that? He looks like a bee."

Freya sniffled as she showed a scrape on her hand, some skin that had rubbed off, but nothing serious. It did, however, sting pretty bad for the young girl. What stung worse was what her eyes focused on next, her broken egg that she had made pretty herself. Her own work too! In fact, she couldn't even think more on the topic, all she could do was sit there as the tears steadily dropped from her face.

"Yeah, I know about the eggs, but you're not allowed to just go running off without me. You'd probably get lost and cry." Adeline spoke with a sort of irritated sneer, having been dealing with her little brother's sass for a long time already that day. As the urge to whack him with her own Easter basket rose, and her fingers itched against the wicker handle, her concentration broke as Sorrel called out to her. She was initially worried that maybe it was someone from her past that she didn't remember, but she seemed pleased that it wasn't the case. She offered a tiny wave with the basket-laden hand.
"Oh, hi...Sorrel. This is, uh." She paused, squinting at her toddler brother. "This is my brother. You can call him Theodore."
"THEO! My name's-Theo!" The kid actually yelled right at Sorrel, as if it were her fault that his sister gave the wrong name and she was an idiot because of it. He was staring at the new girl with a critical eye, head moving wherever his gaze happened to wander. He ended up staring at her hair for a moment, grinding his teeth in obvious thought. With a huff and a sudden burst of energy, he wriggled out of Adeline's grip and immediately lunged forward toward a shiny purple lump of plastic not too far away, his arms held out like the wings of an airplane as he made a heroic buzzing sound effect for his escape.

Upon being introduced to Theo, Sorrel smiled at him despite his staring and leaned forward a little, opening her mouth to utter a greeting. However, before any words could leave her lips, the toddler was yelling at her like she'd done something wrong. She blinked rapidly a few times as she leaned away again, taken aback. "H-hi Theo," the girl said anyway, sounding as startled as she looked. Then she cast a confused look in Adeline's direction, as though making sure he was always like this, that it wasn't just her he talked like this to, when the pixie made his escape.
With an exclamation of surprise Sorrel half-leaped towards him with one arm outstretched with the intent of catching him, though he was out of her reach far before she could have gotten hold of him. "Wait! Where are you going?" She stared after him, not entirely sure what he was doing or if it was okay for him to be doing it, but poised to start running after him if Adeline moved to do so. Apparently she hadn't seen the egg he was after yet.

The look that Adeline was shooting exclusively to Sorrel was one of exhausted annoyance, the corner of her mouth twitching after Theo finished yelling as if trying to keep from scolding him. It was a hard thing to do. She was in the middle of conveying her answer of, "Yes, he does this all the time." through looks and gestures (she even mouthed the words, 'He's so annoying.' at one point), when the pixie weaseled out of her grasp and went running. It took her by such surprise that Adeline was reduced to simply staring at her empty hands. It took her a minute to recover and start following him, nodding at Sorrel. "I kinda have to keep an eye on him...or else...well. I think you know. Sorry he's dumb."
In the meantime, Theo was having a swell time ignoring the two older girls as he sped along. He made it to his target destination, circling the egg like a basket-toting little predator, then snatched at it. He turned his back to the two girls and cracked it open in secret, checking what was inside. ...Chocolate. That wasn't what he wanted. He shook the piece of candy out onto the ground and put the empty container into his basket, continuing on as if nothing had happened.

Hayden followed along after Blaise and stood back while she worked on Freya. "Aw your egg..." He shuffled over to it and started to put it back together again, which failed miserably but he was trying.

Seeing as though Adeline wasn't chasing after him, Sorrel relaxed her tensed posture and started just walking beside her after the other girl's little brother instead. She stared at the back of Theo's blonde head as he waddled on, completely dumbfounded - either because she hadn't met many toddlers before, or because she hadn't met toddlers like him before. Either way, it took her a moment (and a shake of her head) to recover before she turned her head to look at Adeline.
"It's okay, I don't think he'd listen to anyone very well." Even though she didn't have much experience with people like Theo, she still understood that he would do what he wanted, when he wanted, and wouldn't hear a word about it. She wasn't about to blame his big sister for it.
Then, a flash of orange caught her eye, and she walked backwards a few paces to squint at it. Sure enough, it was an egg - no, not just one egg, but a few. It looked almost like someone had accidentally spilled the contents of their basket while they were walking. Score! "Hey, I found some eggs!" Sorrel pointed towards the pile, directing the other girl's gaze towards them; she spoke in an undertone, subconsciously trying to be discreet, like it was a secret between the two of them. Her face broke out into a smile and she started walking towards the cluster.
