"Okay, this here, is the StormClan-BreezeClan border." The tom waved his gray-blue tail in the direction of the end of territory." StormClan hunts under the trees, in deep undergrowth. They prefer to eat squirrels and birds. I have no idea how they hunt in all that cover, I can't imagine how they even breathe," He continued. His sides were heaving and he was panting heavily.
...but I need someone to knock me head over heels.

We were given Four paws to walk, two eyes to see, two ears to listen...  Saltpaw[Saltpaw moved closer to the border. It intrigued her, she hadn't imagined so many trees in one place. It looked so full of life.] "It doesn't look so bad."
[Saltpaw was curious as to how they didn't trip with ever paw step but of course they were used to it. She imagined a StormClan apprentice looking over the border at the open moor. They would probably hate it. Being so closed in probably made them feel safe. Being out in the open would be their nightmare.]
"Are you alright?" [Saltpaw asked, looking at Jaywing. She had noticed his irregular breathing and felt a small pang of concern.] But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find...

"I'm fine. How are you faring?" He had stopped purposely to catch his breath. He glanced at his snow-white apprentice. Eh, she's not so bad.

We were given Four paws to walk, two eyes to see, two ears to listen... Saltpaw [Saltpaw was tired and her paws ached. If felt like they had fallen off somewhere near the SeaClan border. But the moment Jaywing asked her how she was doing, she straightened her spine and held her head high.] "I'm perfectly fine."
[Saltpaw padded up toward her mentor and sat, anything to rest her paws and legs. She fought with her breath to keep it even, not wanting to seem weak or inexperienced.] But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find...

Jaywing's breathing calmed. "Now that you know all the borders and their scents, we can head back to camp." He mewed as his apprentice settled beside him. It was now sun-high, the sun baking his fur, already sticky with sweat.

We were given Four paws to walk, two eyes to see, two ears to listen... Saltpaw [Saltpaw had barely caught her breath when she stood and nodded. She stretched her legs in turn before turning er head to look up at her mentor.]
"When Galestar announced that I be your apprentice, to be honest I dreaded it. I always thought you to be a grouch. But you're not so bad." [Saltpaw said with a flick of her tail. It was true, as a kit she had always tried to stay away from Jaywing. He was nowhere near as bad as Falconstrike, but he always had that same feeling, that deep inside his mind he was complaining or commenting in a bad manor.]
"Actually...you're a bit like Eaglewind..." [She observed, looking up at the sky now.] But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find...

"Oh, really? And just what's so good about my brother?" The blue-grey tom teased. His ears flicked as he heard a twig snap acroos the border. Jaywing's eyes narrowed, as he strained to hear, just what was coming from the StormClan border.
...but I need someone to knock me head over heels. ((Ehh...nothing to write. Writers' block! Gahh!!))

We were given Four paws to walk, two eyes to see, two ears to listen... Saltpaw [Saltpaw's ears swiveled toward Jaywing and she grinned. Turning toward him she did a mock dip of her head.]
"Yes, my mentor." [She said in joking way before standing. The short time they talked was enough to rest her paws and now she felt like she could do it all over again. She would have asked to race Jaywing back to camp, but she was still a bit sketchy with the territory. It would be embarrassing if she got lost.]
"Let's go then." [She said, turning and padding away in the general direction of the camp.]

[Spadepaw finally neared the border with Larkcry and Birdsong, looking around and trying her best to remember the scent of the new border.]
"So, which clan is this?"
[She asked her mentor, looking off. She flicked her ears. From the heather emerged a group of cats. Spadepaw froze.]
Is that one of the leaders that was at the gathering? She must lead Stormclan! Dear starclan...it must be the mighty Silverstar Doveflight told me about! I thought she was just a nursery story to make kits act more leader-like! She's so...amazing...
[She paused, giving her mottled chest some rapid licks to look presentable to the she-cat. Hopefully Silverstar wouldn't think too badly of a cat at her age just realizing the border, and that the stormclan leader truly did exist. She looked to thunderflight and instantly spadepaw's tail stump twitched in delight. The she-cat didn't look too pleased, though.]
Gosh, i hope thunderflight's okay...she's so nice, i'd hate if something bad happened to her.
[She leaned in towards her mentor.]
"Is that the stormclan leader?"
[she whispered. She paused as a third cat trailed far behind the two. A beautiful scarlet she-cat with a long, fluffy tail. A pang of envy hit Spadepaw as she looked at the extremely long and soft-looking tail flowing around in the air in a carefree manner.]
Lucky she-cat...a couple scars on her legs, but her face is scar-free and she has a tail.
[Spadepaw pinned her ears to the back of her head.]
Unlike me.

[I mewed with a sigh. I opened my mouth to speak.]
She deserves to know if she trusts this dearly in me...
"Well, Silverstar, i-"
[I froze, looking at the border to see three cats, one particularly catching my eye. A mid-apprentice, mottled she-cat with darling blue eyes, a stump tail, and two scars between her eyes.]
Spadepaw! What a coincidence!
[i smiled lightly, stopping mid-sentence to look at her. She had the wounds of a warrior, yet still at an apprentice level. The she-cat looked from me to Silverstar with an amazed expression.]

[She froze as she saw the StormClan cats emerging from the bushes. Birdsong tilted her head. She wasn't exactly sure how she felt about StormClan, but at least they seemed friendly. Birdsong dipped her head]
