The God of Punks got on onto his feet and stared into the ring at Landry. After a few seconds, he began to laugh, knowing that he had inflicted enough damage for now. He slowly walked up the ramp backwards, laughing at Landry every step of the way. He stopped at the top and stared into the ring, hoping with that Mike was stupid enough to try something.

Phoenixfire had looked on in amazement as Shanahan catapulted himself into the action from somewhere out of the line of sight of the ring or the announcer's booth, wielding his trademark baseball bat as he went for his preferred target- Landry. Something about Landry had tipped Shanahan off during their promo before PYB and now he was acting on whatever suspicions he had. Phoenix had no idea what there was to be suspicious about; Landry's motives seemed pure enough by her. Apparently they weren't honorable enough for Shanahan because he had just come out swinging that bat with a rebel yell before he began to tussle in the ring with Landry. Phoenix kept herself pressed against the barricade behind her, doing her best to keep out of the way until the scuffle dissipated and the two were going their separate ways. She slowly got to her feet and edged her way slowly to the ring and under the bottom rope to assume her place at Landry's side, assisting her teacher. If one thing was very apparent to Phoenixfire, the road that lay ahead of all three off them would be a treacherous one.

((Since it's been four days since the ppv has ended and Brody's last post, and the results of the ppv have already been posted, I hope it's okay that i'm writing and ending to this match so we can move on to the supershow.))
Landry turned and watched Shanahan leave up the ramp and Brody took his opportunity to strike, leaping at Landry and nailing a sledgehammer fist to Landry's head, hoping to bust him open. He called for a referee to check on him as Landry held his temple from the last shot, but there was no blood to be seen.
This time Brody stalked his opponent and the crowd could feel the energy rising as he set up for the Kill the Lights. Brody hoisted Landry onto his shoulder, but Landry was able to slip out the back! Landry set up beside Brody this time and hit him with a Half Neslon Facebuster, forcing Brody's face straight into the corner and busting him open.
The referee stepped in and stopped the bout at the first sign of blood and Landry's music played, much to the chagrin of Shanahan and the fans still skeptical about his motives. It was noticable however that a portion of the audience in attendance have begun to side with Landry for his ability to ward off Shanahan's cheap shot as well as win the match, though it was a minority still.
Landry climbed out of the ring with his hand raised, holding his head from the repeated shots he took that night. He went over to Phoenixfire and raised up her hand as well, showing he had not forgotten his promise to shair the spotlight with her from now on.
