Name: Hyuuga Neji Age: Stallion Breed: Regular Temper: Driven Type: Naruto Cosplay Personality: History: Description: COming Where He Fits in the Posse: Neji is like the old Blais returned. In him there lies a deep need for vengence and to prove himself against his old herd's aristocracy, and at first he will only haunt the outskirts of the Elderwillow encampment. (after he has been found wounded by the two-legger Pathen, who then brought Amarine to heal him) Blais will eventually approach him, and welcome him into the fold... on one condition. He will have to give up his blood feud.

Name: Ryuusei Age: Mare Breed: Regular Temper: Righteous Type: Friesian-Arabian Cross About: Sei is the sort of person who strongly believes in what she fights for, even when it seems the whole world is against her. Despite her youth and tragic past, Ryuusei is remarkably mature and selfless. Much of this, in my opinion, is thanks to her father, Toujours, evidenced by the strong attachment Ryuusei has for him. Still, she is young, and when provoked enough, she has a tendency to attack with far too little care for her own safety. Personality-wise, she’s very honest about her feelings and she will show exactly what she feels, and say exactly what’s on her mind.

[Semi-private rp between Yei Umeko and Tai in a nearby clearing] -Please message Celeanor if you wish to join in ^^- Epine de Rose Considerable measures had been taken to ensure that she was looking her best. She could only put this down to the fact that she was becoming steadily more sociable and wanted to make an impression upon the pleasant beings (and not so pleasant beings) that often congregated upon the plains - granted, the clearings were not her idea of a perfect meeting place but it seemed that everyone else enjoyed it.
Therefore, she had slowly made her way down from the mountainside and towards the Clearings which, as per usual she paused at the edge of and released a gentle snort as she surveyed the long, lush grass that was in striking contrast to the coarse foliage that lurked in her home atop the mountainside...not that she was complaining, she absolutely loved her home but it was a mild observation. Celeanor While the term '"cabin" fever' may not be completely appropriate, Tai was certainly itching for a change in scenery. Celei had been gone for days on some spiritual journey he did not understand, leaving him in charge of their teepee and all of her precious pottery. Add to that, the teepee they called home happened to be the most secluded teepee of them all, deep in the woods past all of the others, nestled in the foothills of the higher mountains. And Tai, a highly sociable Soquili, was beginning to chafe against the bindings of his promise.
Flame was of little help, the older stallion and his companion Gully had taken themselves off as soon as Celei vanished into the woodlands. Fustrated, Tai had stayed in place for 3 whole days, until he finally had enough. Looking around, half hoping to catch of glimpse of red hair, the young stallion whinnied a farewell to the forest creatures around the teepee and cantered off into the brush, heading straight for the common gounds closer to the Kawani Village, where others were known to congregate. Epine de Rose She was stood down wind and thus as the male released his farewell whinny to whatever it might have been the faintest of calls caught her ears and after a few moments she swivelled her head round to fix her gaze upon the direction in which she had heard the cry amit from - needless to say, she was mildly curious as to how the being was coming from her current residence...she did after all live far up in the mountainsides just below the darkening mists - well her companion human was terribly odd in that respect.
Nevertheless, she did release a delicate sigh and another snort as she very quickly tended to her tail and mane, tidying them up as best as she could while savouring the delicate heat produced by the sun's light during the hours just before luncheon - in this light she looked even more red than before, even the red flecks in her mane and tail gave the illusion of her being alight with flame! Celeanor Picking up his pace as much as the dense wood would permit, Tai released another high whinny, this one full of laughter and good cheer as he leapt a fallen log with ease, flagging his feather adorned banner. The deep earth welcomed his pounding hooves when he landed, cushioning the impact so his pace never faltered as he came upon the clearing, racing into the open meadowlands with gleeful abandon. Epine de Rose Her brow quirked immediately as the soquili bounded across the clearing without any consideration for who might have been there. Nevertheless as she watched him whoop for joy at his apparently new found freedom she couldn't help but release a little giggle of appreciation for the liveliness of the unnamed stallion who had come into her line of vision.
Still, she deemed it rude to interrupt his apparent spurt of freedom and thus she remained silent and focused on observing him and his apparently lithe frame - considering his build which was so similar to her own she could only assume that he had been close to the mountains every now and again (more often than most at least)...that made a change.
Although she couldn't help but marvel at all the feathers he wore on his legs and mane. Celeanor Stretching low, Tai raced around the seemingly empty clearing, not at all chagrined that the others he had hoped to meet were absent. He relished the thrill of the wind through his mane and the dancing feathers, so he spun back on his hindlegs, his body wretching around at an impossible angle as he struck out with his hooves, tossing his head as he once again came to earth. Standing still for but a moment, his deep chocolate eyes surveyed the area, nostrils flared as he thought he caught a scent, but with a toss of his head he was off again, kicking up his heels with another whinny.
Until he passed one of the far edges, and a glimpse of red sent him to a immediate halt, hundreds of possibilities crossed his mind, but the one that stood out in the forefront of his thoughts was...
Celei! She's back! Along with a wave of guilt that he had left the teepee untended, so in a rather coltish manner, he ducked into the deep grass. Epine de Rose He couldn't have been that mature a stallion, in fact the manner in which he acted reminded her very much of her old friends who were only just reaching maturity as she was. She herself was relatively young but due to his height and mannerisms he appeared to be a bit younger than her, either that or he seemed to 'act' like he was a two year old just discovering his manliness for the first time.
It was only as he dove into the grass as though he had spotted her that she released a rich peel of laughter and shook her red mane, the tendrils of gold and orange flickering in the sunlight as she very slowly waded through the long grass towards the now hiding stallion.
"Am I really that terrible to gaze upon?" She asked curiously as she looked around for his exact location within the grass... Celeanor The laughter that accompanied his abrupt dive was anything but Celei's, and as he gazed between the waving grass stalks, Tai realized his error with a great deal of embarrassment. But now that his deep blush was turning his face a hue as deep as the mare's coat, he wasn't about to stand and apologize.
No no, apologizing while safely hidden was perfectly fine.
"No ma'am, not at all..." he said, the stammer in his voice giving his deep baritone a funny ring, as he peered between the grass cautiously, apparently unaware that his ears now pricked above the grass. Epine de Rose "You know, I can see you..." She cooed silkily as she crept forward and very calmly leant down to give the tip of his ear a delicate nibble to point out that they were perfectly visible to her despite his best attempts to hide - still, following this move she did back away once more to provide him with his personal space and gave another rich-filled laugh at the manner in which he was acting.
"Can you even see me?" She enquired curiously as she allowed her ears to perk and flick towards him in interest. If she were entirely honest he was one of only two stallions that she had ever seen adamant in attempting to avoid her and the only reason she'd seen the other one was because his hawk was yelling at him.
"Or are you just guessing that I don't look ugly, I could be a boar for all you know!" Celeanor Tai stiffened at the nibble, but couldn't resist a giggle as the act tickled him. "Hey!" he said, without any real force behind it as she backed away, but at that point he didn't feel the need to hide, and wanted to prove that he could see her.
So first his head, then the rest of him, rose from his crouching position, and with a shake he cleared a few grains of loose dirt and dead leaves from his coat. Looking at her now, he had to admit she was anyting but a boar, and snorted. "I don't guess at anything, and you are pretty." he said adamantly, flicking his golden tail. Epine de Rose
"Well now, that wasn't so hard was it?" She enquired softly as he rose to his feet and looked her up and down. Needless to say she was quite a bit taller than him and could only assume this was partially due to his youth...either that or he was naturally tiny in which case she would promptly coo and give him another nibble (degrading as that may be).
"And you don't look half as bad yourself, although I think you over did it with all those feathers." She mused as she stared at the feathers on his leg, tail and mane with a hint of amusement, she had always been perfectly content with her dream catcher!
"So, now that you have a face - who might you be?"Celeanor The young stallion snorted again, though he couldn't help but grin at her, he just naturally found eveything funny, even himself. "I'm Otaikimmio'tokaan, though Cele and Flame just call me Tai. And I like my feathers thankyouverymuch, Celei gave them too me, she said they were a gift from the creature that is my 'namesake'." he said primely, shaking his head to stop the tickling sensation on his ears from the said feathers. Epine de Rose She couldn't help but feel terribly plain in comparison and gave a sigh as she listened to the young stallion defend all his feathers, personally she would have been happy with just one or two and after a few moments she simply gave a shake of her head in with an unreadable expression upon her equine features - she really hadn't got a reply to his explanation for his feathers other than that he was overdressed in her eyes.
"They call me Yei Umeko," She introduced herself at last and offered a vague smile of her own and a shake of her long mane to brush the forelock out of her eyes so that she might see him properly, "Very few shorten my name but for those that do, they call me Yei." She added with a mild snort. Celeanor Tai's head bobbed politely as she spoke, the odd expressions that drifted across her face having little effect on him as the infectious grin was ever present across his features. "Well, it is a pleasure to meet you Miss Yei Umeko." he said, reaching forward to brush his nose aginst her's in greeting. Epine de Rose Oh goodness, her nose was terribly ticklish and as she felt the tiny whiskers upon his muzzle brush against her nostrils she took a deep breath and creased her face into the most unusual expression yet as she attempted to hold in a sneeze - it failed though and she lowered her head as her entire form shudder and then she released what appeared to be an outward splutter of air...well, horses always did have difficulty coughing and sneezing, this was the best she could do at short notice and her hooves couldn't reach high enough to touch her nose...well they could if she leant down but she wasn't really thinking logically at that point.
"Don't do that!" She chastised as she fought to regain her composure and eyed him critically before shaking her head and releasing another splutter, apparently she was being attacked by some sort of obscure sneezing fit, "Would you like me to nibble your ear -" Another weeze, "Continually?!"

[clearing]
Golden brown ears flicked back momentarily, then another slight chuckle escaped Tai as he ducked out of the way of her sneeze. "Well I can't say I mind having my ear nibbled Miss Yei, but since you apparantly mind having your nose tickled.." and he paused to slide closer to her, chocolate eyes alight with mischief. "I'll just, nuzzle your neck then." But instead of her neck, he whisked his nose against hers again.

[clearing]
A deep breath prevented her from sneezing again and she gave a rather loud whinny of anger as he attempted to set her off once more. Her ears flattened against her head and in a brief rage she bounced forward and unceremoniously nipped at his neck as if to demonstrate that she did not appreciate the painful reprecussions of her nose being tickled - sneezing was uncomfortable.
"I'll have you know that I would appreciate the nuzzle to the neck but not my nose! Where are your manners?" She chastised haughtily as she drew herself up to her full height and seemed to puff out her equine cheeks.

Tai seemed to deflate almost instantly, his ears dropped and his tail hung low to the ground, and if he could have, the young stallion would have whined when she nipped him.
Instead he stared at the ground guiltily. "I'm sorry Miss Yei." he mumbled, much as a young human child would after a scolding.

"Awwww!" She couldn't help herself as she gave a very girlish squeal in response to his actions, she'd only ever seen a foal do that and as she watched him deflate and almost shrink to the size of a colt she couldn't help but giggle and step forward to give the stallion a tentative nuzzle - with a demeanor like that she could hardly hold a grudge for long.
"It's alright - just don't do it again alright?" She shook her head and gave him a 'critical' glance before offering one of her normal equine smiles, "I'm open to other games...just not that one."

Looking up at her tentatively, he finally matched her smile, and nuzzled her neck apologetically. "Ok, no nose tickling." he said, standing to his full height, though he noticed with a bit of chagrin that she was still taller then he was. "Miss Yei, if you don't mind my asking, where do you come from?" he asked with a touch more seriousness then he had shown earlier.

"Mmmm..." She murmured thoughtfully before turning her head in the direction of the mountain ranges a distance away from them. For a few moments she simply observed them and then at last she gave a nod and seemed to be rather certain of the words she wished to use, "Do you see where the mist just hits it's lowest point?" She began gently as she bobbed her head to just where the mists began.
"I live just there, close to that barren rocky cliff - my companion's teepee resides just under one of the ledges. He's never in that often but the teepee is well sheltered so I think that might be why he chose the location." She mused in an almost fond manner.

Following her gaze, he found himself a bit surprised at the location, for so long he had thought little Celei was a hermit! "It seems very peaceful, and very high up!" he said cheerfully, the beginnings of an adventure beginnning to turn in his mind. But before that... "Your companion, did he raise you like Celei did me?" he asked, more for curiousity's sake.

Calmly, she shook her head and offered a wry smile as she lifted up her right foreleg and pointed towards the tiny hairline crack along her hoof - it wasn't severe but it was enough to denote that she had been injured at some point in her life and it had otherwise left her lame for a few months at least until it was cured.
"He found me, I stumbled down one of the rock faces and when he was gathering herbs he saw my crumpled heap." She gave a giggle at the 'derogatory' term she had used and shook her head again, "He coaxed me back to his Teepee and took care of me until I recovered - cliche as it might be I decided to stay with him...he's very nice."

Tai nodded at her words, remembering the images of Flame when Celei and himself had found the stallion. Tai had been but a colt at the time, yet old enough to understand that his 'momma' Celei had to take care of the other soquili until the horrible wound atop the stallion's head could heal. While he could not relate personally, he did understand the mutual devotion on the sides of Flame and Tai's bonded, Flame appreciated Celei's help, and Celei was glad to give it, yet respectful of the mighty stallion who looked to her now.
"He must be if you say he is." the brown and gold stallion said, brushing aside the old memories in favor of newer ones. "Has he ever come down to the Kawani Festivals? Maybe Celei knows him."

She shook her head, as sociable as she might have been Achak was not and preferred to stay hidden in the mountains. In fact, he seemed to make it his duty to whole heartedly avoid any encounters with his fellow man as though he found it terribly uncomfortable - this fact had often confused the Soquili herself but she couldn't question it, it was his choice after all.
"Nay, he's a solitary creature - he seems to like the company of creatures in the mountains but doesn't like other humans...I'm not really sure why." She confessed with a furrowed brow which she quickly removed from her face, she had always thought frowning was not a delightful thing to look at.

"Ahh, I see." he said, looking around curiously for a moment, then back at Yei. "Say, do you think he'd mind if I visited him? I've been stuck around my teepee for the past three days, so.." he paused, unsure if this was the proper way to ask for an adventure.
"Well, do you think he'd mind?" he added redundantly, his tone almost pleading for something to happen other then the usual grind. Tai wanted to explore, to chase things, to be chased, and to flat out have fun with this red mare he was already labeling 'friend.'

"Well -" She paused thoughtfully and took note of the pent up desire to explore in the stallion. She wouldn't take pity on him but she could understand his desperate need to do something other than stand around the same area repeatedly, even she needed to explore and Achak very rarely stayed too long in his Teepee himself.
"I don't see why not." She mused at last and gave another one of her friendly smiles, "Of course that does mean you have to walk to the very edge of the mist - they say it's haunted by spirits up there." She cooed silkily before giving an unusual grin.
"I think that Achak reckons my coat colour is because the spirits in the mist wanted to paint me like fire to warm them up!" She announced proudly.

Tai's expression changed from one of longing to an intense need to meet the challenge presented so playfully, so he grinned at her fearlessly. "Oh I don't mind the spirits, and I doubt they mind me! And if they took the time to paint your coat so beautifully then I doubt they would mean us harm." he said, his chest puffing out slightly with youthful optimism and arrogance.
