I limped into down the stairs and on the last step I turned to my friend with a frown, "hey your coming right?" I asked suspicious of his motives. I tightened my hand into a fist to make the shaking stop. -I still have the urge for another fight, and yet I feel like collapsing all at once...- I spoke in my head but kept a straight face

Demarris chuckled a bit to himself, sighing a bit as he fiddled with the tools he would soon use. surprisingly, despite his voice his visage was that of mid twenties at most. "That is a bit insulting... but i suppose you could say that. i made the conditions clear; he never specified it as a fight to the death, so therefore i was unwilling to reach my maximum potential. although i came close... ish." He gave another hoarse laugh under his breath, tilting his head some at dark. "And your fascination with the battle quickly rose throughout it's progression... did i go beyond your expectations?" He stood from his perch on the bed, the blood still flowing from the wound through his leg but he did not so much as limp. He began to examine the damage dealt to the room, intending to fix it in his spare time.

I turned and walked toward the girl looking at her in the eye for but a mere second before looking back down and walked past her into the kitchen. I leaned on the counter nearest to me and looked at my wounds. Something seemed off. Did the armored man realy make these cuts? His weapon seemed like it would do more than just cut me up. Then I remembered the moment that time seemed to have stopped and the burst of solstice that came after. The amount of energy that was released at once was intense, could that have been the cuase of my wounds? I pondered on it for a few seconds but shook my head trying to forget. "I should clean myself up a bit..." I unbuttoned my bloody shirt and wiped the blood off. I was a little hesitant to look at my scarred body but still checked that my wounds were healing, "Vampire regeneration.... how convenient" I sat down in a chair and relaxed my shoulders as I sighed "was that win a fluke?" I asked myself and saw my hands "Tch..."

Demarris shook lightly with his silent amusement. He allowed his hands to graze the walls, sometimes the floor, as he took an interest in the nature of Dawn's power, in case a rematch occurred in the future. you could tell a lot about an attack by the shape, size, even texture of the cut or crack it leaves in its wake... "Your intuition is fairly accurate, sir... You should definitely rely on it as often as you can. As for this castle, i believe i may stay for quite some time... but not permanently, unless i do finally find my master here." He gave a small smirk at the sounds of his own words, sighing a bit to himself.

He Gave Dark his full attention for a moment. "As for you... you seem to be a very troubled, if not paranoid individual. Rather reminiscent of another acquaintance of mine, now that it comes to mind. for one to find what they call home, they should first set aside their worry for their troubles finding a path to it. that is what a so-called family is for, and the satisfaction of making a man run for the sake of others should not belong to anyone. i would not think about it too much if i were in your position... It is unhealthy. Unless you have anything further to inquire, i have work to do. i believe the woman who stormed up here will be unhappy with her ceiling, my floor." He then returned to the task at hand...

"Your welcome." Miki said with a sigh as she prepared a bowl for herself.

*Naigi pounded on the door with both his hands* someone? Oi! I know someone is in here, I hear teh noises! *he proclaimed, he put his hands down to his sides, awaiting a response, or at least he hoped for one* come on, I'm bored nyaaaa.... *he whimpered childishly*
