I don't know if I actually have ever been creeped out by an enemy in a computer game before. They scare me when they jump out at you, but that's just because I'm jumpy.
But my boyfriend has a technique in Quake III; he terrifies me by jumping round corners with the gauntlet. That's surprisingly freaky.

I'm sorry, but the Killer Rabbit from the PC game Monty Python and The Holy Grail has got to take the cake in this competition!
It was so cute!!!! ...up until the point where it lunges at your neck and then starts tearing out your internal organs...

SweetAngelOokami I'd have to say the ghosts in Fatal Frame in themselves were pretty creepy. The women with their eyeballs poked out were probably the worst to me. They'd just pop out of nowhere screaming about their eyes. *shudders* The enemies in Clock Tower 3 were kind of scary, but most of it came from the fact that you can't fight them at first, so you are completely helpless and have to rely on hiding. And they pop out of nowhere. Its so nervewracking to be hiding behind a thin curtain and have a serial killer pacing around right in front of you saying "Alyssa, where are you?" You can't help but think "I'm right behind this flimsy little curtain that I can see you through...you are so totally going to find and kill me." sweatdrop gonk I got scared just reading the discription of the serial killers! I don't want to be in a situation like that. I would be scared of them pulling the curtain away and hacking away at you... gonk

Wonder Nerd hawaiigal hahaha, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who was scared of the ReDeads and the Dead Hand...I mean I felt pretty lame when I was scared of the ReDeads and not scared of the zombies of Resident Evil... Well, the Resident Evil zombies are kind of predictable, I mean, they shamble over, moaning, trying to eat you until you blow them to bits. Of course, there are exceptions, (chainsaws!) but they're kinda what you would expect from an M rated game. The ReDeads were completely unexpected for me, and they were unpredictable, since they stand still when you're far away from them. Oh, and you're kind of screwed once they freeze you. And the Dead Hand was not only unexpected, it was just plain disturbing. Oh yeah. I agree with you there. 3nodding

Wonder Nerd hawaiigal LadyLink Mistress Kaia ReDeads from Zelda...OoT Spacifically. I donno what it is about those things but...*shudder* Though in wind waker I couldn't help but laugh. whee They sound like elephants! heart gonk Definitely ReDead! Them and the ghosts from Fatal Frame... I played OoT when I was little and those ReDead freaked me out, and the noises they made too >.< I had to mute the tv to get passed them Omg, I had a similar experience when I was nine. Alone, in the dark, Hyrule Castle Town as an adult. I see them, and I'm like 'can you talk to them?' So, near the exit, I walk up to one. OH. MY. GOD. I couldn't move, and it was coming closer, and then it jumped on me and drained my hearts! Scarred for life. I'm still afraid of them. I didn't even have the sound on then. So when I was playing MM, I was scared enough to be in the Gidbo well, but the SCREAM! Every time you would talk to one. D: And the other thing in OoT that freaked me out? The Dead Hand. That guy was creepy. Seriously, the hands would grab you and he would come out of the ground and waddle over, and slowly lower his head. And when he died, his jaw would stretch alot and flop on the ground. It didn't have the same shock value that the ReDeads had, but it was pretty freaky. Totally the same! My dad got hooked on OoT before me, so I watched him play...never was the same since. I was afraid to go get the friggin Sun Song because I'm so health a**l and because of the ReDeads... What was even worse was when you're in Ganon's Castle...in the Shadow/Spirit part of it--not sure--and you're supposed to destroy the shield generators and they had a fake room...and the last thing you expect is a Floormaster to drop down and grab you--and it does...*shudders*
