Trevor came to a halt as the wind picked up the kite, he reeled the spool in a bit before handing it over to Liliana so she could have a turn flying the kite. He stood beside her watching the kite fly around in the air and smiled it had been so long since he last flew a kite and he was grateful it was a nice day out to do so. He ran a hand through his hair before it returned to his side.

Lily caught up to Trevor as he stopped and gratefully accepted the kites reel. Her smiled was wide as she watched the kite dance about the sky, she was certain her eyes were dancing with it.
She looked to Trevor as he ran his hand through his hair and laughed slightly, "All that running got your hair running a muck?"
The question was tossed at him playfully as she handed the kites reel back to him. Her hand went up to her own head instantly in attempt to fix her now wayword curls and loosing braids. Running her fingers through the curls and twisting them about at the ends they were easily set right, but her braids were another matter. There was not much she could do for them, as they were kept closed with beads which caused her mouth to set up in a frown. She was very unfond of being messing and she fussed with the ends for sometime pulling the beads off.
"Sorry," she said looking to Trevor, "loose messy braids are rather annoying." she said as she began to unbraid them and fix the strands to curl. She did not admit, that she hated being messy and this was her real desire to fix her hair. If he hadn't ran his fingers through his hair she may not have even noticed.
She need a distraction.

Trevor shook his head "its fine, not to worry" he said "I tend to do it frequently as well" he said chuckling lightly and smiling at her a bit before taking the kite's reel from her and keeping a firm hold on it so he doesn't loose his grip.

"Thanks," she said softly as she finished fixing the last of her curls.
She looked up to the sky and noticed the kite seemed to falter and fall a bit. Lily figured the wind was going to die down soon and they wouldn't be able to fly the kite anymore. Pulling out her cellphone she looked at the time and frowned. Time had gone by pretty quickly and she wondered how much more time Trevor had to spend flying the kite. They hadn't even really gone for the walk he had originally suggested.
Lily looked back up to the sky, "I think the wind is about to die down. Do you still want to finish the walk before we parts ways." She looked to him smiling lightly, "Oh and do not let me forget to set a date for us to look at college options for you. I really would like to help."
He smiled continued as she looked to Trevor, waiting for his answer.

Trevor tested the wind by licking a finger and holding it up as well as looking around, "hmm..it does look like the wind is about to die down" he said agreeing with her. He tapped his chin lightly pondering over the answer.
He looked over at her before nodding his head "I think a walk would be nice, a brief walk but a walk none the less" he told her. He nodded his head saying that he would remind her "Not to worry..I'll remind you" he said returning a light smile.

Lily nodded and reached for the kite string as the kite dropped a bit lowered. She began to tug it down so it wouldn't crash when the wind died.
"Roll the spool," she said softly as she pulled the kite from the sky.
It was about a minute before she had the kite in her hand, and it was then she realized she did not have her books in her heads. She looked around widely and saw them several feet away lying in the grass.
"Whoops," she said softly, "I cannot believe I dropped them. Oh the library fee, not that I couldn't pay it, but I'd rather not tarnish my spotless record." She was talking to herself, but she was certain Trevor probably heard her.
She quickly went to retrieve the books.

Trevor nodded his head and rolled the kite's spool, making sure the line was rolled up enough for the kite to be held, he glanced around quietly and waited for her. He held the kite while she went to pick up her books "i'm sure, you won't ruined your record" he told her.

Lily laughed slightly heading back over to Trevor. "I sure hope not," she laughed out right then, "really in the scheme of things, it is not that important, just me being a perfectionest!"
Lily smiled at the boy, "Shall we go then," she said heading off knowing Trevor would follow.
"Let talk after school hook up," she said talking as she walked. She had not needed a remindered, as the thought was fresh in her mind, but there was no harm in asking for one.

Trevor chuckled lightly "I assure you, it won't" he told her with a smile while he held the kite in his hand and followed her. He pondered for a moment "an after school hook up...is okay with me" he said happy that she would help him find a college to go to after he graduated from highschool.
