Not wanting Elizabeth to get the wrong idea, the princess pulled out the object Jack have given her in return though it was hard to say just where it had come from. "He gave me his own treasure, so that no one can say we are not friends," she smiled as she showed the piece of eight to Elizabeth. "I am not sure what it is, but I cherish it all the same."

Elizabeth froze when she saw the angelic pull out the small string of beads and trinkets and show it to her. 'Jack didn't.....but he did....she must mean much more to him then even he would admit to himself...' the pirate thought to herself, quickly composing herself.
She patted the small piece of 8 and gently pushed it back to Aurora, "I've known Jack for some years....and never have I known him to give up something this precious and close to him to anyone. He wouldn't even give it to me, even if I ordered him, he would weasel his way out of it." Elizabeth said, knowing she now had to find Jack and have a talk with him, needing an explanation.
She also felt a small pang of jealousy. She kept her piece guarded fiercely and never even thought to ask Hector about his. Did this mean the two didn't really love each other as much as they thought? She would have to talk to her mate as soon as she could.

She tucked the piece of eight safely away, loathing the mere thought of losing it, though again it was hard to tell just where it went. The words that had been spoken echoed in her head and she felt her heart swell with hope. "Jack is very good at turning things in his favorite," she grinned thinking of how he had somehow managed to get her to try rum, something she would have normally never even imagined.
"Elizabeth, talking with you has made me feel much better. Is there any way I can thank you?"

Pushing her thoughts back for another time, she gave Aurora a warm smile, "There is no need to thank me, I am glad we met and could actually talk. And if you ever do need to talk, about anything, you can find me and I will listen." she said.

"I will remember that. And if you should ever need anything, I would be happy to help," she smiled. With her mind less so occupied by worry, she now realized that Elizabeth had been quite right about the cold and the inadequacy of her dress. She gave a small shiver, "I think I should head back to my den."
She gave her new friend a brief hug then curtsied. "I hope to talk with you again soon, Elizabeth. It is quite nice to have a female friend," she grinned.

Elizabeth had to stop her giggle when Aurora admitted to be cold. She was surprised to get a hug, but she hugged her back, "Thank you Aurora. You be careful going home." she said. She patted her shoulder and then made her way to the water, sliding in, "Take care!" she said, waving a paw before diving down and disappearing under the water.

Aurora smiled, "I will. Be safe, Elizabeth." With that she gave a small farewell wave of her paw and then turned around. The warmth of her den sounded very inviting now that her mind was somewhat eased from the many thoughts that had been preoccupying her as of late. It helped that she now had a friend to talk to though she hoped soon she would see Jack (the girl is hopeless).
