"What the- It's getting away! Follow it quick!" Hinata directed, almost running off before noticing a familiar double-ended spear. Glancing at Alder, she saw that he had released his shikai, and was telling everyone to grab on without a care for his own safety.

"Keep it for yourself, Alder-san," she said, nodding to the spear hovering by her side. "Two will be better than one if you are attacked. Well, I'd suppose it would be discourteous for me not to take the enemy seriously. And right now, when I really do need speed... Chime, Harikaze."

A gush of wind engulfed her momentarily, before she emerged, her katana replaced by a rapier-like blade that shined an almost blinding white in the weak sun. Grinning, the Vice-Captain returned to pursuing the hollow. Her speed increased threefold by her zanpaktou release, she had little trouble keeping up by running at full speed. She could catch Shockster if she flash-stepped now, though she wanted some other officers to have a chance to release their zanpaktou before she went in for the kill.

"Surround it, everyone, leave it no means to escape. I would suggest positions on top of buildings, so it won't break our defences by jumping again. I'll head up in front to stop it. Don't worry, EVERYONE will get the killing blow." She gave a thumbs-up to the rest of her team.

Hinata scrutinised the street before her- judging the distance needed for her to flash-step in front of the hollow, far enough for it not to notice her immediately, though still close enough to aim an attack if it stopped too soon. She leapt, then shunpo-ed in mid-air, landing atop a tall building on the street corner.

A dramatic entrance for all our squad members! ))

Jumping to avoid the quakes and waves of impact, Hibiki just barely got out of the way of the fissure the creature opened in the road. A bit shaken, he realized Nephele was scolding him at the top of her lungs in his head, and was probably the only reason he'd jumped when he had. Lucky reflexes.

As others called their shikai out, Hibiki almost reconsidered he want to take out Nephele. They surely wouldn't need that much force. However, his own zanpaktou was not a force based type, nor offensive. It was heavy in a support ability. Thus, he could still call it without thinking this was overkill. Lucky him, because Nephele was beginning to buzz with frustration in his hand.

As Alder sent the spears around, Hibiki, like Hinata, ignored the one sent to him. Instead, he raced after the hollow at his top running speed, wishing he'd learned shunpo instead of perfectly fencing for a moment. Raising his blade high in the air, he shouted, "Let sparks fly, Nephele!" A thin bolt of lightning originating from nowhere discernible shot down from the sky above, and hit the blade as he called out his release phrase, still running after Shockster. His sword transformed into a needle thin rapier with a swirled and elegant guard, and bright golden sparks showered off the entire blade like a sparkler.

The hollow was going alarmingly fast, but in a generally straight line. This was good, because his path was predictable unless he were to bowl through obstacles like houses, which would slow him down anyways. I need to get closer... above him... Forming a plan best he could for the split second. Hibiki lunged forward suddenly, stabbing his rapier into the ground. "Grounded Thunderclap!" A rumbling boom, and the force from where he had planted his sword shot him into the air like a launching rocket.

Coming up just barely over Shcokster, Hibiki wasn't close enough to strike, but that wasn't in his plan anyways. He swung his blade around erratically in a circle in the air above Shockster and shouted to the others, "Take advantage guys! Where ever these sparks hit will be paralyzed for a few seconds, catch him while he's slow!"

He kept shooting past and above the massive Hollow, but he'd spread a good number of sparks to fall to it in his wake. Unable to stop himself Hibiki crashed head first into the slide in the playground ahead. "Uuugh..."

Instead of grabbing hold of one of Alder's spears, Telemachus sheathed his zanpakuto and began sprinting after the Hollow. After a few steps, he fell to all fours and flashed onwards. It wasn't exactly a Shunpo, but he was faster than most other Shinigami, running on all fours as he was. As he neared the Hollow, the leopard-man leapt the last distance, drawing his short blade as he soared at Shockster's back. He slashed at the large creature's tendons at the back of it's knees after Hibiki's rain of sparks and Alder's own attack.

(I think it'd be fun to roleplay with you again, Mock. I agree with that. Of course, I'm going to try and bug you to show me your Bankai.)

Shockster

Running blindly in a straight line, Shockster did not notice the orange-haired shinigami releasing his puny sword until he was right behind him.

"Hehe, trying to catch up with me, pesky little flies?" he sneered, raising a massive arm to swat the shinigami away. It was only then that he heard a rumble of what seemed like thunder, and the shinigami was propelled from the ground so fast that he appeared only a blur of black. He was swinging his sword around like a lasso, and from the blade a shower of sparking, golden energy fell onto him, searing where it touched his skin.

"Is that all you can do, silly little fly?" Shockster roared, annoyed that they had the nerve to burn him but not to come close and attack properly. Still running, he was about to punch the shinigami out of the air when he froze. His arm would not move. As much as he strained, the little sparks of energy dancing around it seemed to immobilise the limb. Howling in anger, the massive hollow bent to jump and squash them all, only to realise his left leg had been likewise trapped. His eyes bulged from his disfigured, mask-like face.

Forced to skid to a halt to avoid toppling into the ground, he thrashed with his remaining arm, attempting to crush the shinigami wielding the lightening sword, who had planted into the children's park.

Peeling his face from the plastic of the play structure, Hibiki could already feel a headache coming on. Left hand rubbed the back of his head, as he turned and instantly remembered the fight as he saw the massive hollow's arm thrashing in his direction in attempts to squash him like a bug. "Why me?" Hibiki gulped, knowing all too well his rush to get to his feet was likely in vain. This was gonna hurt.

Then, as he was bracing himself, the floating spears returned to the vicinity to help him out. Note to self, buy Alder a drink when this is over and done with. Taking advantage of the time the spears were buying him, Hibiki was up, but not out of there. His shikai was still in effect, so why run? Jumping up from the slide, Hibiki aimed to land on Shockster's arm, and jumping the sawing spears, swung his rapier to stab deeply into the shoulder. If he hit, the electricity in his blade could hit a pivotal point in the nervous system, a joint, and maybe even knock out the arm for good. All he had to pray for was to keep his balance.
