Oh dear... It seems you're not going to get a terribly favorable reception in this guild, love. Let's see now...
Kurama and Hiei, whether or not they are a canon couple (which Togashi-san has denied as it is), do look rather good together, so far as yaoi fans are concerned. Both of them are young, aesthetically-pleasing men. As such, they are prime targets for the imaginations of yaoi fangirls (and boys sweatdrop ).
Don't get me wrong--there are hundreds of other bishounen in the series. It's just that those two are well known for having an extremely close relationship. Yes, Yuusuke and Kazuma are close, too, but they also have terribly distinct love interests. Keiko would probably knock Yuusuke into a coma if he went off with someone else, much less a man, and Kazuma is far too infatuated with Yukina to notice anyone else.
That, and he comes off as being a homophobe to me somehow... sweatdrop

I take slight offense to all the negative reactions to ahomosexual pairing. D: Sorry guys.
I'm not gay, I'm bisexual, so I can slightly see the girl's side-- but you all shouldn't try and be so defensive about it.
Personally, Hiei x Kurama was one of my first yaoi pairings I read. Though I don't quite get it (The uke VS seme part), I find it a cute pairing.

Hmm,if we are talking of Hiei and Kurama....Well,we are talking of them being together when we talk of Mukuro and Hiei and Kurama's regular friendship,we are hitting....'points'.
I know people critisize me for being here because I'm not really into this pairing,(Actually,I'm not really into yaoi....) But,as you all might have figured oyt by now,I have an obsession with Kurama,I see this everywhere,and I'll be here...'watching'...-watches-
I have made no point but...That's just me.

I don't like yoai at all, but I'll still come in here and watch and see if I might have to threaten to delete it if people is going to argue to much like
mrchikenlicky saying don't come in here unless you like this pairing and things of the sort. Lol.

Wait wait wait... You seem to not understand what I've said.
Let's go back and see where this went wrong, shall we?
In my first post in this thread, I gave an explanation for why we like the pairing in question. Then, in the second paragraph, I went on to justify the typical reasoning behind the pairing. After that, I stifled any possible arguments that could arise from saying that Kurama and Hiei's close relationship could justify them being a couple by explaining that it isn't the only reason for the pairing, adding in the parts about Kazuma and Yuusuke's platonic, brotherly relationship as an example for such an idea.
Somehow, you managed to twist aroud what I'd said to make it seem as though I'd been talking about the KazumaxYuusuke romantic pairing, which I hadn't mentioned at all. Period. I'd stated that they were not romantically involved with anyone, save for their designated love interests, who were later named as well.
In my next post, I attempted to explain my first post out, particularly the example I'd used with Yuusuke and Kazuma. I preceded to then ask you what about the pairing you specifically wanted to talk about, giving you the chance to give a narrowed down discussion topic. I used the term 'broad' to mean that there are many possible subtopics to discuss within the given topic.
