Chancey's eyes widened as she realized the battle was still continuing. With her Byakugan, she realized that the new Rock nin had decided to attack. "Attacking someone with their back turned is cheap!" she muttered. Not that she could say anything though, since she did attack the Wisteria when her back was turned. But there was no way she was going to let the purple mist hit her. "Poison!" she identified quickly. Clapping her hands together, Chancey formed a couple seals, then called out, "Teleportation Technique!" She vanished in a poof of smoke, and then appeared behind the Rock nin. Using her left feet to push off the ground, Chancey closed the gap between them. With her right hand, she aimed her index and middle finger towards one of his tenketsu. Her left hand was held in front of her in case he tried to attack.

"One of the basic arts of being a ninja is deception." The strike hit the anbu from behind, but suddenly the ninja transformed into a log with a cloud of smoke. It was one of the most basic but yet one of the most affective technique in a ninja arsenal. "Ninja Art: Substitution Technique." Yodai had been able to siwtch places with his doppleganger in the confusion after the his last jutsu.
Yodai's sword appeared behind the girl with his sword at her neck and a kunai targeted for her right kidney. "For now you are a bargaining chip, this is one way this can end peacefully. I rather not have a war."

"Owned by a log!" Chancey glared. A couple seconds later, she felt on her left a blade against her neck. She could see a kunai aimed at her right side. Trapped. "s**t!" she swore angrily. She hated being used as a hostage. It made her feel useless and weak. Anyways, in her opinion, hostages are usually girls with poofy pigtails and always squealing things like "kawaiii!". She definitely was not one of those.
Then Chancey remembered an earlier statement made by Wisteria. "We don't actually wanna kill any of them." she had told him. Usually, it wad against her morals to risk her life for something this stupid, but it might be worth a try. She took a deep breath, then with her left hand, she pushed away the Rock nin's hand holding the sword, then immediately ducked and ran in case in actually decided to hit her. If the he tried to use the kunai to stike her, it would of hit air, since she ran from under the sword. She spun around and faced the Nin, hands held out in front of her in a defensive position.

Maiko stumbled away from the poison gas, jumping to a roof in order to get away, but she feeling a little light headed from the bleeding. This was going to get worse if she continued like this. She looked at the Rock Nin that was moving to attack Chancey and for some reason her blood seemed to boil. He was going to try and take her as a hostage?
She jumped off the roof, several strand of wires held taut between her hands. She didn't need to kill him, but if she could wrap the wire around him it would be easier to do chokehold until they were knocked out.

 "I've had about enough of you three." Dispersing her attack at Rikujin, Wisteria quickly dashed away from the grouping and stood silent as she signed a new jutsu. Boar → Tiger. "Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld." This was a fairly powerful jutsu designed to trap anyone caught within its limitless range. By targeting the three Leaf Nin, Wisteria created a thick, gooey swamp around Yodai's feet, mere centimenters from them in fact. If anyone stepped foot within it they'd be caught. The radius of the swamp was a good 50 meters. Anyone within that distance of Yodai would be caught and stranded. Luckily for them the jutsu wasn't too deep this time however despite the fact that it was not deep enough to dround the young Shinobi it was deep enough to trap them efficiently.
"Children need to learn to play with their own kind. This is the business of adults and until you learn to fight like one I must seperate you." Her voice was as cold as steel on a mid January afternoon. While it was not Wisteria's intention to kill anyone today it seemed that she might not have a choice. Things were sour before the death of the Kage and now, it seemed that things were only getting worse and she was full aware that she had greatened the divide. "I promise you that if you choose to strike myself or my fellow Shinobi that I will be forced to teach you a lesson. Death is a prize for weak individuals. Be sure that I won't kill you. But do be aware that I may bring you closer to death than you'd probably like." Eyeing each of the four Hidden Leaf Shinobi, Wisteria made sure to hold the gaze just long enough to allow her words and attitude to sink in. She was serious, that would not and could not be mistaken.

Vol was shocked as the ninja took his hostage, but as she attempted her escape he saw his opening. Forming the hand seals quickly he made his move, and used this moment of confusion to try and catch his opponent. "Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Jutsu." He said quietly from his hiding spot, and attempted to trap the ninja in a genjutsu. If Vol's plan had worked successfully he would soon be witnessing his worst nightmare become a reality. Vol sadistically hoped he'd be watching his Kage die in battle, but scolded himself silently for the moment of weakness.
However he saw something unexpected from the corner of his eye, and hoped onto the side of the building as the ground transformed where he had just been standing. "Crap... without my eye that would've got me..." He thought to himself holding to the side of the building with his chakra, and panted a little. "Haven't used this much chakra at one time in awhile..." He panted silently.

Maiko was in mid air as she she saw the Kage form a giant swamp in front of the other Rock ninja. She knew she couldn't move in anyway to not land in the swamp, so she had to improvise. She clapped her hands together and produced a clone, using it as a stepping stone to jump onto a nearby roof. She watched as her clone landed in the swamp and disappeared in a puff of smoke as she looked at the Kage.
So what if the three of the ninjas fighting now were Genins? It didn't negate the fact that it was the Kage who started this first, causing distruction in their village. While she knew killing either of them would incite a war it didn't justify her actions.
She stood up and looked at the Kage, "We may be children, but we are children of this village! Inheritors of the Will of Fire! If I have to be beaten down for defending the village I love, so be it!" She pulled out two kunais, tying one wire to each of them as she readied herself for any other attack.

From behind her, Chancey saw a swamp coming closer and closer. Forming a couple seals again, she called out "Teleportation Technique!" and vanished in a poof of smoke. Seconds later, she appeared next to Vol on a roof top. "Hey." she greeted with a tiny smile. She took this time to check the cut on her back. The blood on the jacket was dry and the cut seemed to have stopped bleeding. "What should we do now?"

Maiko secretly smiled as she noticed Vol and Chancey didn't get caught in the swamp, but she perfered to keep her distances in case the ninja tried to get all of them caught in an attack. She could guess that they were going to plan on what to do now, and the swamp didn't make it any easier. This ninja had a different fighting style then his Kage and with his ability to breath poison could easily spell doom for them if they weren't careful

As the crows circled Wisteria, they began to shoot at her. Dive-bombing, over 20 crows seemed to rocket at the Tsuchikage. As they came closer, the crows transformed. They changed their appearance to that of shuriken. Though they wouldn't cause actual damage to Wisteria, the mental effects of the genjutsu would be taxing if she didn't break it in time. She could have tasted the intention in his eyes had the gaze been held a second longer. His reaction time was fast but so was hers. "Genjutsu? Oh come on Rikujin! I thought you could fight me more honestly! But I suppose if you really want to win then you have no other option." A slightly twisted, insincere smile bloomed upon her lips only to wither away seconds later. 'Him and those god forsaken Genjutsu. Hmpht. To be expected of course as it is not my forté.' Quickly she clasped her hands together holding her two foremost fingers. "Kai!" Focusing with intensity Wisteria "released" herself from the Genjutsu for the time being however she hadn't exscaped unscathed. Blood dripped down the length of her left arm and upon inspection she could visibly see several lacerations. "Damn him." Standing firm now Wisteria collected herself and took in a large breath of air that made her belly protrude slightly. Releasing it in a single gust she signed a new Ninjutsu.
Rat → Serpent → Horse → Dog "Shinkūha: Vacuum Wave!" Taking another generous breath inward Wisteria spun on her heels releasing the breath in the form of a blade of wind that traveled at high speeds. The powerful wind based attack made her winded but only for a moment in which she quickly recovered her breath. That attack itself was C-rank but rank didn't really determine strength of an attack, that was the Shinobi's job.

Vol's shadow clone looked at Chancey for a few second before speaking. "Well, we have to focus on keeping her partner busy so the Hokage can fight fairly... Besides, you of all people should be able to see me." He whispered with a wink knowing her Byakugan would be able to pinpoint him in the area. The shadow clone then looked around the battlefield calmly thinking. "I'm not sure about what exactly we could do not being able to do any close range combat with this swamp crap..." He mumbly aloud to Chancey still thinking, and gave her that to think with.

Chancey nodded when Vol mentioned the clones. She glanced around the area and focused her Byakugan on the real Vol, hiding on top of another roof. “Cheap b*****d,” she teased. “Using clones to fight for you.” Glancing back at the swamp, she examined what had happened so far. The swamp was like a moat around the second Rock nin. “Hey, what if we somehow pushed the other nin into the swamp?” Chancey suggested. “He would have to get rid of it to save himself!” She tapped her chin pensively, trying to think of other ideas. “Or, we just fight him from our safe spot on the roof and lead him away from the swamp.” She mused. She turned to look Vol in the eye. “What do you think?”
