Yua listened intently to the conversation and giggled a little at Maya's response to the Mizukage although it was appropriate she was so submissive towards him, that Yua could not help herself, she did understand why Maya was that way though being a higher rank one most show respect to their superior's. Yua listened a was a bit sad that the conversation had been cut short simply due to her presence, however she jumped a bit when the Mizukage said her name but then it registered what he had said. "Wait you mean i get to design my own puppet?" Yua said some excitement in her voice. She had not honestly put a lot of thought into what she wanted her own Puppet to do but it wouldn't take her long to come up with idea's for what abilities and designs she would want it to have, while Yua thought she examined Maya further her voice was soft and wonderful and her hair was a sight to behold it was a beautiful shade of red. Yua also noticed her nervous habit of tugging at the sleeve of her Kimono. She grinned a bit and then decided to focus more on her task at hand she could eye the pretty red head later. "Well i can certainly come up with a few designs and idea's is there really a limit to what a Puppet can hold or is it all up in the user's imagination?" Yua asked as she continued her thought process.

She listened quietly as the Mizukage spoke, noting that he was talking all business. That made it somewhat better for Maya, though she noted that the girl that had accompanied him was eying her as well. "Understood Mizukage-sama" She said with another polite bow before picking up her scroll and brush and strapping them to her back.
Falling in her place on the other side of the Mizukage she stayed a step back before deciding it was only proper to introduce herself to the girl who was with the Mizukage. Waiting for a pause in the conversation she politely interjected, "Hello, I am Maya Hanagawa." and tilted her head politely to the other girl. Maya was cautious, not wanting to offend anyone so soon after she got here. She supposed sometimes it was inevitable but being withing such a close proximity to the Mizukage she didn't want to seem like some sort of arrogant cur.
Yes, for now Maya would observe the mannerisms that were prevalent in the capital, and learn what would be okay and what wouldn't be.

Yua smiled a bit and blushed slightly as the other girl introduced herself and bowed her head, Yua wasn't sure how to respond so she did what she thought would be best. "Very nice to meet you i'm Yua Mizu, of the Mizu clan." Yua said as she walked along beside the girl, Yua could now get a better look at her she was ravishing, her clothes where so pretty, and her edict was wonderful. She was very polite and her name matched her well. Yua grinned and then decided to talk more. "So Maya, where were you stationed before you came her, also i have to say i love your hair." Yua said blushing a little more it stood out against her pale skin also standing next to Maya Yua felt very under dressed, but she would not be able to move properly in an outfit like Maya sos he did not let it affect her, as she waited for Maya's reply she also began to make mental notes of what she wanted her Puppet to be capable of but also question to ask Maya to keep the conversation going just in case she had short answers. Yua's best strength that she hardly ever used was her ability to multi task, she could hold six conversations at once if she truly tried, but for now she only had two things to focus on the pretty girl next to her and her future Puppet, the Puppet took a bit more president since it would be the one thing defending her in the field of future battles, But Yua managed to continued to look at Maya's eyes and think about her Puppet without showing much sign of it.

’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…
Erkamina thought about proving her worth for a moment, that was her goal as well, or rather the worth of her name- her father's name. How could he have read her so easily? Did she wear her heart on her sleeve for him to see? So many turbulent questions that she didn't notice that he asked her to follow him. She noticed his absence and shrugged, following the only pathway out of the building and noticed the two with a third. She jogged after, not running fully but more than a walk. She stopped and noticed the girl's name in conversation, what she could pick up, was Maya. "And I am Erkamina Kaiten..." She said quickly as she skidded to a stop behind the other two. "I was just thinking of some things and ran behind. Sorry about that..." She said to both Maya and the Mizukage after which she'd followed. "Sorry to make anyone wait..." She said more bluntly, looking at Maya for a moment. She had red hair, bright red, and dark eyes. Not abnormal by any means, other than the bright color of her hair. Erkamina touched her own black locks without thought, her eyes trailing off toward the side- the stormy blue pools seemed to take everything in- or at least what was readily accessible. The more she thought, the more it was strange that the Mizukage acted the way he did. Was it possible that he didn't know? If it was, then why wasn't he informed. So many unanswered puzzles made her head spin.
… Soon I will show the world the worth of that name.’

Maya noted as Yua spoke another girl, seemingly much younger than the rest, run up. it was not long after that she introduced herself as Erkamina Kaiten. Maya nodded, bowing her head slightly to the other girl who had run up before speaking "Pleasure to meet you." Hearing Yua speak up again, she turned her attention to the girl.
"I was stationed in a small village near the border before I was called back." Disregarding the compliment about her hair it was obvious that Maya didn't want to open up personally to anyone. At least not yet. Cautious by nature she always took time to observe and get used to her surroundings before jumping into anything. Maya also noted the blush that had graced the girls cheeks, but wrote it off as a sort of jealous admiration for her hair. Maya's hair although an unusual tint, was a somewhat common trait for her clan, although it still attracted a lot of attention from others.
Feeling somewhat uncomfortable with the attention her hair was bringing, Maya pulled her hood back over her head, concealing most of her features. She was thankful for the creation of traveling cloaks at times like these.
Maya wondered idly as the four of them walked what exactly the Mizukage was up to. Perhaps he had his eyes on these other girls for their future potential to benefit the village.

Sorain had not planed to have so many people with him today however so was the situation and so he would deal with it. Sorain reached inside of his pocket and pulled out a small scroll about the side of a pencil. He untraveled it and read it over once, making sure he had grabbed the right now. "I need to speak with Maya alone to brief her, in the mean time I want you two" He said, directing his attention to the two genin, "To complete this mission before returning to my office for further training. It is a D rank mission, something that should not be too difficult for you to do at your current levels. If you run into problems just seek me out. Yua, think about your designs while away." He said, showing no sympathy for the fact that he was sending them on a mission without their leader. Him and his brother never had a squad leader, not once, and they turned out just fine. "Maya, come with me to my office, I need to talk to you and explain your assignment in further detail as well as discuss your living arrangements."Quote: Rank: D Fetch -Overview: A astute collector of rare artifacts has found some ancient puzzle box. Dumbfounded by how to open it after many extensive prolonged attempts he has finally caved and called out for help. Looking to scrap up some extra spending money your team gladly accepts the challenge. ---Step 1: A small dusty box with pictorial carvings of different Kanji lay upon the box, one named for each element of Chakra and one final side empty of any markings what so ever. There appears to be no hinges, yet it seems each part would move somehow, you just can't figure it out for the life of you as you hold the object and stare down upon it. ...Count: 100 lines ...Check: Check (Int(x2)+ Buffs vs 100) ...Requirements: Only one member needs to succeed the step 1 check. One member attempts this at a time, each time one fails it gets 20 harder. It may only be attempted twice per member. ......Rewards: -Success grants each participant 150 Ryo Notes: May only be completed once. Quote: If you have questions or need help just contact me IC or OOC

’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…
Erkamina stared at the description of the mission for a second before nodding and putting her hand in the ‘thumbs up’ position. ”Shouldn’t be a problem. We go find this collector and figure out his puzzle.” She said confidently while putting her hand in her pocket. She sighed and looked at Yua with a raised eyebrow. With a bookworm like her this should be a piece of cake for the two to figure this out. And Erkamina held back a lot of her intellect in the Academy by being a trouble-maker and acting a fool. Secretly, her intelligence was pretty high, for a genin anyway. Although it could, probably, be higher. That was probably why she didn’t remember about the lake’s depth. That aside the two girls could probably do this mission without a captain. Not that the fact they didn’t have a sensei bothered her, in fact it gave her more opportunity to shine as an individual. And that was her first and foremost dream. The second was more of a plan than a goal. She read over the description again and nodded at Yua. ”Well, how do you rank your puzzle skills?”

Quote: make the INT, check after you have rped the 100 lines. also i did not expect you to know what it means, by the time you finished with the 100 lines I was gonna pm you on how to do it. This marks the first day of training to use the system. But for the sake of this situation I will go ahead and explain The check you must make is (Int(x2)+ Buffs vs 100) This means take your INT stat x2 + any buffs to INT that you may or may not have(i doubt you do) vs 100. Example: Player A, int is 20. They multiply their int by 2 which gives them 40. They notice that they have an int buff that grants them +5. They add the two together giving them a 45. Now that you have determined what your number is (45) player A may now make his check. 45vs100 You would subtract your number vs the number yuo are trying to beat (100) 45-100=-55 You would then divide this number by 10 leaving you with 5.5(rounded down to -5) What this means is you have a -5 chance to succeed this check. To calculate this simply subtract the 5 (or add -5 same thing) from 50(which is your base average) leaving you with your final number of 45. You must roll 45 or less to beat the check. To do this roll a 1d100. ( 1, 100 sided die) and roll. Player A rolled a 40, which is less than 45, which means that player A would have succeeded the check.

Quote: Dragon in your case your check would be 26v100. Because 26 is your int stat x2 and you have no buffs. 26vs100 = 26 -100 = -74/10 = -7.4 (rounded to -7) 50 - 7 OR 50 +(-7) = 43. You would need a 43 or lower to pass the check. So simply put the steps are Stat x 2 + buffs Subtract from the vs number divide by 10 add to 50 roll

Yua smirked at Maya's response listening intently, she was a bit sad when Maya pulled her hood back up to hide her feature's but she said nothing, then the Mizukage handed her and Erkamina a scroll with a mission on it and gave them instructions to meet him at his office when they finished, Yua wasn't sure about it until she read that it was a puzzle mission and not something involving combat. Yua grinned and nodded as she walked along with Erkamina towards the objective. "My puzzle skills are fair but i will need to examine this box, it may take me a while to figure it out unless the man has information on the box." Yua said as she let the younger girl lead the way towards their destination, once they arrive Yua smiled and the man seemed happy to see them since they both where wearing the headbands it was obvious they where ninja, and why they where there. "Thank goodness you've come i am simply confounded by this device, i'm sure that two mist ninja such as yourselves should be able to uncover it's secrets. The man said as he lead them inside to the box it was sitting on a lone table there was nothing else around it, it was almost like the man had enshrined it there, but Yua said nothing and simply began to examine it. Quote: The Int check vs 100 is us trying to solve the puzzle, you must be able to beat 100 with your Int roll. I'm not doing one yet so i can draw out more lines for us to beat the mission.

Erkamina nodded and took the lead, she seemed to have instinct as to where to go to find this man and she knew the details well enough. "I think we should look at it too, I was just asking because we may have to try to think of it as a puzzle and try to piece it together." She said while still in transit, adjusting her headband so the Mist symbol sat perfectly in place on her forehead. She heard the man speak and seemed to be truly confused, and grateful for their presence. She listened to his words and followed him in, seeing the box alone on a table with nothing around it, save for seemingly-random objects on the walls of the building. On the top of the box was the symbol for fire. "Look Yua, it's the Kanji symbol for fire. I wonder what it means..." She said as she cocked her head to the side, trying to get a better look at the object. From the side angle she could see another symbol, this one for Earth. "Wait- Earth, Fire... They're elements..." She saw another, wind. "May I hold the box? It may be possible to see more if I were to turn it over and look at the bottom and back." She asked the man, pointing at the object in hopes that he would hand it to her so she could get a better look at it as well as feel it to see if any trick hid just beneath the surface. As a shinobi you should always know to look beyond the appearances...

Maya watched as the Mizukage pulled out an all to familiar scroll for the other girls. She waited quietly, observing the others as they discussed the objectives with themselves before turning her attention back to the Mizukage, listening to him.
She nodded curtly, "Understood Mizukage-sama" was her only response as she followed him through the city. She remained a step behind him, but was careful to observe her surroundings. There were still traces of things she remembered from the once familiar town, but things over the years had changed so much there was a lot to see. She made notes of restaurants she wanted to try, and shops she would like to venture into sometime. Of course though her Priority was keeping a wary eye out for any sort of danger. She was careful to note street ways and roads so that she would be able to traverse mist easier on her own. 159/xx

Sorain and Maya traveled through the country until he was satisified that she had seen the streets enough. With their next step both of them dispersed in a cloud of mist, reforming them in his office where he continued his stride forward and around his desk where he reached up his sleeve, pulling it down and removing his long robe bearing Kirigakure's symbols as well as small symboles respresenting the previous kages, including an indented serpant for the 5th. Sorain placed the robe on the back of his chair before removing his hat and laying it down on the table then taking a seat and folding his arms in over his chest, "Please have a seat and listen intently, It is not normally in Kirigakure policy to release information such as this however given the situation and your appointed rank I suppose it seems fitting. First things first, you are being permanently reassigned to the capital to be part of the Kirigakure ANBU squad - First Division. What this means is you will be part of my personal squad of body guards if you will. Your main assignment will be to generally be of assistance to me as I see fit." Sorain closed his eyes and sighed, "The reason why you were chosen... Was because of your medical no how." Sorain held out his arm and unwravled the blue bandages that went all the way up to his shoulder. The skin underwards show signs of decay the moment that the bandages healing touch left the skin. " My body is starting to reject the Youth Immortality Skill, I fear that I will not be long for this world in this form unless a drastic change is made. Until then I would rather not walk around as a droopy decaying mess. In your file it says that your brand of medical know how should come in handy in that regard. If you have any questions for me now would be the time to ask because immediately after this conversation we will be heading to the dojo for you to show me an example of your abilities. After that, provided the genin have finished the assignment that I gave them we will be beggining their first Chunin Exam training regimate. I will be there and as such you will be there."

The man nodded and lifted the box up into the air to hand it to Erkamina. "There are more symbols on the sides but none on the bottom of the box it is a true mystery." He said as he waited for Ekamina to take the box from his hands.Yua examined the box while it was in the air she had not noticed the kanji on the box and was thankful for Ekamina's great eye at spotting it as the man raised it she noticed the symbol's for wind, and water, it was odd The puzzle made little sense if you combined the four element's you basically got flaming dirt, Yua tried to solve. She pondered more on it but her mind was divided between the task at hand and what the future held she had to think about her future puppet, her ally, and tool on the battle field. She was more concerned with the puppet than the puzzle, she was thinking of attachments and what shape she would want it in, what weapon's could she channel jutsu through the puppet how far would the strings go, there where so many questions she wanted to ask and practice she would have rather been there than anywhere but for now she had a job to complete and the faster it got done the faster she would get to work on the things she was truly concerned about. Yua sighed and looked back at the Puzzle again wondering why this guy collected these strange things if he was not a shinobi himself, then why worry about the past and artifacts that usually had shinobi origin. But she had no right to question his life style, she was an odd one herself, also she had almost no read on what kind of person Erkamina was, she hadn't really spoken to the girl and their introduction had been awkward at best, she really should try to talk with the girl more but here wasn't the place and Yua was sure she wouldn't want to have idol chit chat in the middle of a mission she examined the box further but said nothing she was waiting for Erkamina to get a look and see what she thought of it.
