"Sure, why not!" Scarlet replied with excitement and a huge smile on her face.
"I'm sure we'll find our way back," she assured herself, though she had only been around this area. She had never been through that path, but she hope Rune does.

"What are we waiting for, then? Let's go~!"
Rune left the basket underneath the tree, making a mental note to retrieve it when they got back. Out of common courtesy, he led the way down the trodden path, not moving too fast so Scarlet wouldn't feel rushed. Soon enough, the forest loomed before them, and a mystical aura emanated from the air around them.
"It looks kind of foreboding," Rune commented. "But I know there's a special place deep within the glade," he added, seeing a worried look fleet across Scarlet's face. "I want to take you there, and show you how special it is to me." And how special you are to me, he silently added in his head.

Scarlet immediately stands up, and followed Rune.As soon as they were in the forest, Scarlet became so quite, that Rune was probably worried.
"Oh,no, I'll be fine. You seem to know this place so well, so I'll just trust you." She said,hoping that it will make Rune less worried about her.

Rune smiled at Scarlet, reassured of his instincts. They entered the forest, leaving the long stretch of flower fields behind them. The ancient trees surrounded them completely, even blocking out most of the sunlight. The few shafts that escaped the multitude of leaves shone dimly on the leafy forest floor, leading the two gladiers deeper into the forest.
"I think we're almost there," Rune said as he perked his ears up at the sound of rushing water. "Just a few more steps!"

Scarlet kept on following Rune, even in the darkness. She was curious of this special place that he wanted to show her. Upon hearing that they were almost there, she was relieved, at least they found their way.
"Well we better hurry, I can't wait to see the place!" Scarlet loves exploring, so seeing this new place would be wonderful.

"And we're finally here," Rune announced proudly as the towering trees slowly melted away into an amazing sight. A large lake spread out across in front of their eyes, leading up to a large waterfall that thundered onto the rocks below. Some of the spray was carried over by a slight breeze, settling onto the duo's fur.
Rune waited for a moment to allow Scarlet to absorb the sight. "It's breathtaking, isn't it?"

Scarlet was amazed, it's like, the whole darkness, towering trees, all just disappeared, from her sight and mind. The scenery seems to be as if it was taken out of a painting and placed right in front of their eyes.
"Absolutely, there's nothing else that I can imagine that is more beautiful than this!"

Rune grinned teasingly. "Even more beautiful than me?" Without waiting for her reaction, Rune turned tail and fled up a pile of rocks, laughing over his shoulder and telling her to catch up.
"Since it's getting pretty late out, why don't we spend the night here?" Once Scarlet had caught up, he gestured to a natural dip in the rocky cliff wall that resembled a cave of some sort. It was hidden behind the waterfall, but the entrance was shaped so that the thundering of the waterfall was deadened to background noise. "If you're ok with that, I can go and get some moss so we don't have to directly sleep on the rocky floor."

"Yup, much much much more beautiful than you," Scarlet replied, jokingly of course. She ran to catch up to Rune.
"Ummm...." Scarlet thought that Siti, her owner, would be worried about her. But then she remembered that Siti said that as long as Scarlet trust the person she's with, she wouldn't mind. "Yeah, why not!"

"Alright, then. I'll be back in a few minutes." As he was turning to leave, he said, "Maybe you can find a good place to sleep? Somewhere where it won't get too wet or chilly in the night."
Rune stepped out into the light again, looking around the bases of trees for some good moss. He found a good clump and used his paws to pull out a large amount. He then looked for other soft material, such as cattail fluff or shedded feathers. He saw a white ball sticking out from one of the branches, and he padded over, curious to see what it was.

"Oh,okay," Scarlet replied, while looking around for a good place.
She then walked around for a bit, then settled in a place where the water doesn't touch or splash to. She went on to tidy the places a bit, brushing branches and dust. Once all that's done, she sat, and waited for Rune to return.'Uh....he sure is taking a lot longer than I expected,' Scarlet thought, starting to feel scared in the dark place.
