Indeed. It's a freaking glitch pokemon! (If it had an entry in the Pokedex, i'm sure it would be known as the Glitch Pokemon: A Porygon-Z gone postal!)
I have my own plan of attack for when I nab my copies of the game.
1st-Return to Johto: Start both games, viewing their respective openings and such. I'm thinking of choosing a Girl as the player for my HG just for the heck of it (Don't criticize me. I'm sure everyone who's played Crystal chose to be the girl even if you are really a boy. DO NOT DENY IT! I DID IT TOO!).
2nd-Starter Transfer: I'll use my HG version to nab each of the three starters and get them on my Platinum, so I can continue completing the National Pokedex on that game. I'll probably be using Platinum often even after I nab HG/SS simply because it's awesome in its own way.
3rd-Legendary Checklist: After I get far enough in my SS version, I'll start transferring my Legends over to it. And I mean every single one aside from those I have copies of/can nab on the game itself. Which means that Ansem will be staying behind on my Platinum, where he is most at home. Don't worry challengers. Since I have the special Arceus I'll be able to nab another Giratina to give you a challenge on my SS version. This does mean that the Masters of Darkness will be temporarily separated, though you can still challenge them after I return from my Hiatus.
4th-The Legend Continues: I'll progress through SoulSilver as normal, taking down everything that stands in my way. I'll be getting onto Wi-Fi to nab my Friend Code during this time, so expect it to show up at the Realm of Nothingness Arena.
5th-Special Events: When (Not if, but WHEN) they show up, I will be nabbing every, and I mean every special event HG/SS have to offer. Yellow Forest, Champ Path, Celebi, and Mew. I will not miss one. Even if I have to walk to a Toys 'R Us just to get one!
That's my plan of attack so far. Anyone else got a specific set of events they'll tackle 'em in, or are you only just gonna traverse Johto and get a whiff of the sweet smell of nostalgia? I'm sure we all will.

Nitrox Dragon Back from a weekend retreat and updating. Sorry people. Yokubo-chan, I'll put it up, but you don't get a Missingno as a reward. Oh wow, it was actually meant as a joke, but AWESOME! BTW when you trade a MISSINGNO to G/S/C it will say that you're friends remoriad is deformed.

Im getting HeartGold because i have the original Gold, so i would want to continue that!
and that guy was right, i did pick myself as a Gilg in Crystal! lol
i havent decided what of the 3 sinnoh legends i will get, but i think i will get Girintina just for the orb because i you cant trade the one in platinum!
Im getting the notch ear pichu
and im not going to rush through the game with my starter at lv 50 with my other pokemon at 5 or 10! im actually going to take my time and level them up individually even if I'm behind my freinds or not

Alright, time for my guess on the new quiz! Since with three hints so far, I'm not entirely sure about the place. Yesterday I had an answer, but wasn't able to put it up before I had to get off. Now, I have time, and with the new hint, I have an idea as to what place he's talking about.
Is it...the Sprout Tower? It's a building, Bellsprout are common there, but are all owned by trainers, and all of the dudes are Bald. So are there Pokemon, which is more that one way the place is Bald.
Did I get it right?

@Andy: I know. It was a different choice from the dude char., so I'm sure most people did just to be something different.
I'm also gonna get Giratina, because He's my fave out of all of them. What I'm gonna try and do is save when I get to the Sinjoh Ruins, and then try for a Shiny Giratina. Mostly because I already have an Ansem, so I figured "Why Not?", and have decided to try for a Xemnas biggrin .
I hope you've got Wi-Fi, dude. Cause that's where you can nab one of the Shiny Pichus (If you don't already have one). I'm thinking of evolving mine after I nab the Spiky-Eared Pichu. The Notches look more like additions to the ear that could signify Past, Present, and Future (If you wanna get deep with it), so I'm sure that if they decide to give it evolved versions in the future, they're ears'll look pretty cool. Imagine, a Raichu who has three curved tips sprouting from one of its ears. I can imagine a pretty cool one...
Good plan. With a level balanced team, you'll go pretty far.
EDIT: Also, I'll be gone early on sunday to pick them up. My Gamestop's opening up at 9:00 AM for the release, and I wanna get there to early for any festivities they have planned. To that end, I've told my sister that if she gets up earlier than I do and before 8, she is to wake me up using whatever means necessary. The Twisted gears in her head are turning from this, so I'm sure she'll get up to wake me up. It's gonna be fun!!!!!

@DarkShadow - I thought the notched ear pichu doesnt evolve, I read that on Serebii. If you bring it to Oak he tells you it can't evolve and that it cannot be traded.
Im excited for the new games, my boyfriend got gold and I got silver. I have to say I may be more excited about these then I was about Final Fantasy 13 on tuesday. Im even more excited because Im about five pokemon away from finishing my very first complete dex EVER and I should be done right before I start silver. Works out pretty good I would say haha ^_^

We dont get a midnight release here, but I got my copies through where I work. I will just pick them up before I go home that day. *SIGH* gotta wait the WHOLE day before I can even start.

@Vagrant: Unfortunately, no, it cannot evolve. Like you said, once it's taken to Prof. Elm, he gives you the details on it and lets all the pokemon centers know about it so that you can't trade it to any other game. I wonder how they'll get it to the 5th Gen...And I was mostly saying "If" it could evolve. The Shiny Pichu CAN evolve, however, so those who want a Shiny Raichu can rejoice. Just wait until after you get the Spiky Eared Pichu. It hasn't been tested (as far as I know), but it might not work if the Pichu's a Pikachu/Raichu.
@Nitrox: Dang! Common then Rare, Common then Rare...what place is Common then Rare? My first guess would've been Ecruteak (I think that's how it's spelled....), but then I saw the Bald comment. Lemme check the new hint.....
EDITS: Lengthy? Well, I'm gonna guess...hold on, spark of genius....maybe...I can't decide, so I'm going with both. The Tin Tower or the Goldenrod Radio Tower. Is it one of those?
