Aiji grabbed Nicki's hand and pulled him up ((if he was still sitting)) and began forward in a cross between a playful run and fast walk, pausing every now and then to look behind to make sure they were still there, just like an eager puppy.
After about fifteen minutes Mikhali and Aiji stopped in front of a large green house. There were no other houses near it, which was why it was chosen, and there were two boarder collies romping around in the front yard and a little girl watching them from the window, who appeared to be around four years of age. When the twins saw Aiji and Mikhali, they promptly bound up to them and licked their faces before turning into their human forms, one a boy, the other a girl. They continued to bark excitedly until they remembered to use their human voices and said, "Yay! Onii-chan! We-ru-come Home!! ((they're impersonating ethnic Japanese who can't speak English very well... >.>;; ))" Aiji laughed and hugged them.

Nicki stayed back. He felt slightly awkward and wasn't really sure what to do. He was starting to feel like he should just turn back into a cat and go back to his alley. As nice as Aiji was, would he really be welcome in a house full of dogs? Not only that, but he felt akward walking on only two legs for so long, and not having his tail.

Aiji looked back as Nicki slipped his hand out of his own. He could sence something was wrong... "Tori, Milfie, this is Nicki." He smiled widely. "He's gonna stay with us. Oh, and he's a cat."
"We know," the twins chorused, giggling. They weren't shy at all, but acted like they were and walked towards Nicki, hands behind their back. Then, with out warning, they latched onto his legs, on on each, and said hapily, "Ride! Ride!"
"Ack! How many times do I have to tell you not do that to guests?!" Aiji said, but he was smiling.

"How'd you know I'm a cat?" Nicki asked, extremely confused because he had hidden his ears and tail. He was really shocked when the twins each grabbed on to one of his legs. Unable to think of anything else to do he turned into a cat and jumped away and scurried behind Aiji. He wasn't used to dealing with so many people.

The twins tapped their noses and giggled. "They could smell you were... There's a different smell to someone who is a cat rather than someone who has a cat. Not to brag, but dogs are known for our noses while cats have their night vision." He giggled when Nicki turned into a cat and hid behind him. "Milfie, Tori, don't scare him or torture him." The twins had turned back into dogs and were sniffing around eagerly, but dashed away a few seconds later, laughing. The reason wasn't evident until a tall, middle-aged woman with long, tri-colored hair approached ((the twins heard her open the door.
"Ai-chan, have the twins been around? They escaped from their baths again..." She sighed and sniffed the air, searching for he twins, but smelled Nicki instead. She bent down and pet the cat affectionately and looked up at Aiji. "Who's this?"
"My new friend, Nicki." He smiled. "Can he stay with us? He's been alone too much and needs to learn to be a person and how to deal with people. But I think he needs some quiet for now." His mother nodded and he picked Nicki up, hoping he wouldn't mind, and went into the house. He walked for a while before reaching a door, which he opened. He set Nicki down and then closed the door. "My room. I'm the oldest, so I get one all to myself." It was a regular sized room. There was nothing too special about it, but there were a lot of books and some peices of paper with drawings on them."

Nicki was relieved when Aiji's mom had said that he could stay. He didn't really want to be turned away or to be the cause of a big fight. he purred softly when Aiji picked him up. When he set him down he rubbed up against his leg affectionately, then turned into his semi-human form.

He cleared the books and things off of his bed and then plopped down on it, sighing. "Today was tiring..." He closed his eyes. Sometimes school was more trouble than it was worth. He remembered he was still in his uniform ((the one in my siggy)) and said, "er... I need to change to normal clothes..." He went to his closet and took some things out.

Nicki sat down next to the bed, looking up at Aiji in an extremely kitty-like manner, one of his ears twitching and his tail flexing back and forth. He let out a mew.
"So...why do you go there if you don't like it?" he asked.

"Never said I didn't like school, did I? Anyway, 'knowledge is important.' Or, at least, it is to some people." He laughed and walked to the bed and patted Nicki's head, then kissing his forehead.
((He's still holding his clothes! He hasn't changed yet.))

Nicki smiled and purred quietly when Aiji patted his head and kissed him on the forehead. "I learned everything I need to know just by living." He said with a shrug.
(so, does that mean he's naked?)

"But there are other things to know that don't have to do with survival... Just things that will, somehow, 'help our future.'" He laughed slightly and then turned around. He took his jacket off and began to unbutton his shirt, but turned his head back to Nicki and said, "Are you really that intent on watching?"

"Help our future?" Nicki repeated, wondering what kinds of things helped with that.
Nicki cocked his head slightly and blinked. "Does it bug you?" he asked, a little confused. "If it does I won't look."

He put his shirt on and started buttoning up, but then turned back to Nicki. "You really don't know much about people, do you?"
