Brody reluctantly accepted Talon's Test of Strength, wondering what his plan was. Brody obviously outweighed him, and his power didn't exactly seem up to par. Still, he went along with the Test, and tried forcing Talon back down to the mat.

Brody had known rushing to win the test would have ended badly, but he never listened to himself.

Brody was able to kick himself out of Talon's pin, denying him the title for at least a little bit longer.

Brody never saw Talon's wicked neckbreaker coming, and was unceremoniously taken to the mat. He rolled to the edge of the ring, hands over his neck and head, trying to keep the pain from getting too extreme.

Brody had just started to get his head together as Talon started his attacks to the neck, sending a sting throughout his entire body. He moved his hands back over the various points of impact, trying to put some sort of protection over his neck.

Brody, taking no chances with any more damage, threw himself out under the ropes and fell to the ground. He had no idea that Talon was coming, and just wanted to get away for a moment.

Brody was commanded to return to the ring by the ref, and so Brody maned up and climbed back into the ring. Talon and Brody locked up in the middle of the ring with a elbow collar tie up. Brody managed to get Talon into a side headlock, however Talon used what strength he had to get him to the ropes so he could use them to help push Brody off. Bouncing him off the ropes Brody went charging across the ring.

However just when he leaned into the opposite ropes the ring malfunctioned! The middle rope snapped as Brody put all his weight into it. This immediately threw him off balance and he fell through the ropes, crashing on the outside after smacking the back of his shoulders off the apron he landed hard on his right shoulder. Brody began to convulse at ringside, gripping at his shoulder in extreme pain. The Ref scurried out of the ring and kneel'd next to Brody to check up on him as he seemed to have taken a nasty and unexpected fall.

Talon stood up a bit exhausted, and a bit shocked after seeing what had just transpired. He walked over to the side of the ring Brody had fallen out at, and rested his hands on his hips as he stared down at Brody, slowly breathing through his mouth. As the ref checked Brody out, it came apparent that Brody had injured his shoulder on the fall is unable to compete now. So the ref called for the bell.

Announcer: "Ladies and Gentleman due to technical difficulties, this match as been declared a NO CONTEST! Thereby... Brody remains your EEW SPEED CHAMPION!"

Suddenly Talon exploded in rage as he was basically in control throughout the match, and if had just went to a finish he knew he would have won. Talon stomps at the mat and yells to the ref about the bogus call. But there was nothing Talon could really do to reverse the call or keep the match going. So he stormed out the arena as the crowd was rather displeased with the result. These two would have to meet another time. As Talon headed to the back Medical staff and stagehands began to help carry Brody out the arena, making sure not to hurt his shoulder anymore then it already is.
