Ama laughed, walking out with him, taking the map with her. "Naw, I think this map does a pretty good job of it. Though, you did miss this crazy Halloween party where some of the Pae turned into wolves, my Aunt included on that." She rubbed the back of her head. "I've had a hard time trusting predators after that... So, should we check out that clearing I was telling you about?"

"I probably would have missed it even if I wasnt in that hall.... I lived on the mountain... remember?" he walks till the bright sunlight lits upon them at the entrance of the HQ "Sounds like as good a place as any, lead on"

Ama lightly pinched his arm. "Well, all that's going to change. I've decided that where ever you decide to live, I"m going to be your first neighbor and I'm going to drag you around to all the coolest parties around." She grinned devilishly up at him. "And we'll have a blast, whether you want to or not."
Pulling his arm, she turned him onto the right direction. "That place is this way."

"Uhhhh" he bites his lips but says nothing. He'd withdrawn from all social functions long before, he wasnt sure he was ready to attend all the coolest parties around just yet... perhaps down the road, but not yet. For the moment however he let her just let himself get pulled around.

She giggled a little, leaping over a fallen log. "You know, yesterday you smiled... and it's a really nice smile you have too."

"We'll see..... we'll see" he climbed over the log after her "Wouldnt know, noone really has commented on anything about me in a very long time in an positive manner." He doesnt look at her just sorta off into the distance as they moved.

Ama waited for him to get over the long. "Really? I mean, you're not THAT bad of a guy, once you stop calling people mutants and all that..." She looked over at him and grinned. "And I bet you could be pretty fun to hang around with too if you wanted to be." She looked around, then pointed in a direction. "This way, it's about 10 minutes ahead of us."

"Alright, well what do you want to talk about for this place? There really isn't much to say. As far as I know, my father and I are the only ones that know about the place, so it's pretty quiet and you shouldn't get too many visitors." She lept over another log, waiting for Thom to climb over it; she'd actually put a bit of thought into where he'd actually want to live.

"Caves? Simple Foliage? Trees? wildlife?" he prompted for other information that he thought could be pertinent to what he needed to know in order to chose a home.

"No caves, it's in the middle of the forest in a clearing. The only real foliage in said clearing is the bushes, most of which I come to for the tea leaves and herbs. There's some wild flowers that bloom there, but they're generally too small to attract anything other than small birds and bees. You'll get the occasional small animal, and what out for the squirrels; chances are they're my uncle's unit." She turned to him. "By the way, should you ever need help, find a squirrel and tell it to get Woobie... let them know you're my friend and help should come." She knew that even if Woobie for some reason wouldn't come, her Aunt Pastela couldn't bare to leave someone in trouble and would be there as soon as possible.

Thom looked over the area listening to what she said, and nods. Her mention of squirrels however caused him to raise a brow in curiousity. A squirrel? How was he supposed to communicate with a squirrel..

"So... do you like it?" She was a little nervous to his answer; she found herself rather hoping he would like this place. Holding her hands behind her back, she waited for his answer.

Thom turned on the spot looking around and taking in what he saw around him. "Pretty quiet, open..." his eyes focusing for both near and far to take in the entire sight. "Good possibility, but im thinking I should explore more before I make a final decision" he nods slowly, though he was thinking to himself the place had potential

Ama nodded. "Well, we can go check out and see if there's a hidden spot over by the inner-island beach. There might be some over here in the cliff face by Cha'en Beach." She had taken out the map and was pointing the the beach that was pressed against the mountains. "What do you think?"
