Mitsu listened quietly while Hitsu talked on the phone. It was strange hearing only one side of the conversation, and what a weird conversation it was! After Hitsu hung up, Mitsu didn't know what to think of her words. "H....He destroyed something?" She paled a little....and this man was coming here? What kind of person was this guy? Surely he couldn't be bad....he was with Hitsu after all.
"So....who is he bringing over......that you have to confront?" Somehow Mitsu could feel the danger mounting in the air, it was stifling.

"Oh, don't worry." Hitsu assured, hearing the worry in Mitsu's voice. "Whatever it was, I'm sure no one was hurt." She could hope, at least... "I'm really not sure what it was, though. Not yet, at least."
The second question caught her a little unprepared. She'd made sure to say no names, but there was still that fact that there was another person coming.
"He's, uh... Bringing my boyfriend." Damn. "That is... The awkward part. I'm sure Yuki is close enough to an aneurysm, I can't imagine what he's going to do when I have to tell him that there are two possible fathers."
Hitsu tried to smile despite this, but it looked far from genuine. "It'll be... Interesting to see how this goes."

Mitsu sat in silence for a moment digesting the information. It probably didn't help much that she was staring at Hitsu as she mulled over what an aneurysm was. It had really been the part she had to think the hardest about. A few awkward seconds ticked by before she finally spoke having placed the aneurysm issue on the back burner.
"Interesting....could be putting it lightly," Mitsu had heard how Yuki had blow up earlier. She hadn't been sure at the time why he had been upset but she knew there had been....a mess to say the least. "But, he's your brother right? He'll love you no matter what. It may take him a while to adjust to it all but I don't think that will change how he feels about you." Mitsu smiled knowing it to be true. Yuki was too protective of his sister to turn his back on her.
"I don't think that's the issue," Neko stood at the doorway his messy spikes in even more disarray than usual. Apparently after they had left there had been a tussle of some kind by the looks of Neko's clothes. "I think she's more concerned about him making a scene." He continued as he stepped into the kitchen finally coming to a stop beside Mitsu.
To say she was nervous was putting it lightly. At the first sound of Neko's voice Mitsu let out a gasp and quickly turned her gaze toward her half empty drink. As he approached she did her best not to look at him, her facial expression somewhere between angry and about to cry.
"Why won't you look at me?" He asked softly.
Defiantly, Mitsu closed her eyes and turned her head away like a spoiled child. "Because I have nothing to say to you." She nearly spat. It was odd to see her this hateful, maybe the hormones were starting to take effect. Either way Neko flinched slightly but didn't dare leave. Instead he stood there in patient silence trying to find the right words to string together. A simple 'I screwed up I'm sorry' wouldn't cut it.
(( If you're lost on what to post I can add more or take some of this post away. I just kept going and then tapered off realizing it would be long and hard for you to reply XD;;; ))

Hitsu was about to answer, but Neko did it for her. She jumped with a start as well, not realizing that they had an eavesdropper. Her cheeks grew red, and she quietly wondered how long Neko had been standing there.
When it came down to it, he would have learned the truth very soon... But it still would have been nice to know he was listening when she thought she was having a private conversation with Mitsu.
In the awkward silence, after Hitsu recovered from her own embarassment, she took notice of the tension between Neko and Mitsu. It made her wonder... Had Vash guessed correctly?
Hitsu decided that Neko surely wouldn't make her feel any worse than Yuki had today, and looked up to him with a serious expression. She didn't like seeing Mitsu upset, and her tone of voice didn't make Hitsu feel any better about Neko being there.
"It was you, wasn't it?"

Mitsu didn't reply, she would leave it up to Neko to decide if he wanted to be apart of this or not. But there was that small flame of hope that fluttered in her chest praying that he would admit to it.
"I uh..." Neko looked to Hitsu suddenly wide-eyed and lost. He had come in looking to apologize and really hadn't thought about throwing himself under the proverbial bus. Then there came a chime to signal someone was at the door. Instantly Neko's ear perked toward the sound and his gaze turned to the door of the kitchen. "I better ...."
"I got it," Phibrizzo smiled impishly as he pretended to prance past the kitchen door to head to the front of the house.
"....explain." Damnit, damnit, damnit! Neko cursed inwardly hoping something horrible was at the door waiting for the young demon.
Mitsu's gaze softened a bit as she turned slightly to look back up at Neko. Was he actually going to admit the truth?
-----
Phibrizzo grinned widely as he made his way to the front door. Nothing important would happen in the short time frame that he was gone, he was certain. Grasping the handle Phibrizzo put on his innocent child-like smile as he pulled the door open to see who was there.

Obviously, Skye was on the other side of the door, waiting in front of Hanse, hoping to catch the first glimpse of Hitsu, hoping that he'd make a better first impression on her and her family. He blinked slightly as he looked down at the impish face, staring at him. His eye twitched barely as he bowed slightly, "Good evening, young master. Is Hitsuzen in? She called our mutual friend.." Skye gestured behind him, "And mentioned we should make our way here." He barely waited for a response, "May we come in?"

Hanse was tempted to just throw Skye aside as the door opened, but when he noticed who was on the other side, he was glad to not be the first seen. He turned slightly, so that only his profile would be visible to the Mazoku Lord, then something in his mind twitched; Hanse noticed a slight difference in lil'Brizzo, something was off, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He shook his head lightly while Skye greeted him, and snorted lightly when he was mentioned, almost too tempted to just push Skye into the house, but he knew better than to ruin his chance at being perceived as a nice guy here.

Phibrizzo stood in the small gap of the door for a moment with his eyebrow quirked. These two were an odd pair and the one in the back appeared familiar....but who was he? After only a couple of seconds the Hellmaster determined he must not have been important, otherwise he would have remembered him. With a shrug he stepped back and opened the door a little wider an odd smile crossing his face again.
"We've been expecting you, honored guests," Phibrizzo decided to lay it on thick as he bowed slightly allowing them entrance. With any luck, the fun would begin.

It was prefect timing, at least for Neko. When the doorbell rang, Hitsu was out of her chair in a flash; nearly fast enough to knock the thing over. "That's for me!"
Phibrizzo had called out as well, and Hitsu wanted to shout at the boy to stop him. However, she instead decided to try and compose herself as best she could and let him get the door as she slowed her approach to the door down to a not-so-frantic pace.
Finding herself at a loss for words when she actually got to the door, she paused as Phibrizzo stepped aside to let them in. She knew well enough that she shouldn't show favor over one or the other... At least, not until Skye had time to explain himself.
In the end, she only watched them both with an awkward smile as they entered. "Afternoon..."

In a flash Hitsu was out the kitchen door and running down the hall to follow Phibrizzo to the front door. To sum it up, Neko was relieved beyond measure, but the stress still lingered. He needed to tell the truth.
"Luck seems to be on your side today," Mitsu stated flatly as she stood from her seat and made to leave as well.
"Hey, don't think I planned this," Neko said taking hold of Mitsu's arm to keep her from leaving.
Mitsu wouldn't meet his gaze but he could tell that her expression was sadden, "I know you would have left."
"Mitsu.... I know sorry isn't going to cut it. I messed up big time, but try to understand. This fathering thing isn't me and I'm....well," He couldn't bring himself to say it but in all reality he was scared. Scared to be a father and scared to fail as one.
"I'm scared too," Mitsu finally said after a short pause. She seemed to sense what he wanted to say. "But I'm not going to back out of this." Finally she turned her head up to look at him, a fierce determination set on her face.
"You're not going to do it alone," Neko said forcing a smile onto his face. It was partially genuine but future thoughts kept clouding his head. "I'll be by your side the whole way."
Mitsu's eye searched Neko's face with hope. "Promise?"
"Promise," Neko gave her a quick hug before they headed out the kitchen door to see who Hitsu's guests might be.

Skye, obviously, entered first. Upon seeing Hitsuzen, he took her hand nearly at the same time she said 'Afternoon' timidly, and placed a kiss atop her fingers. But, before he even had a chance to get his lips to her skin, he was pushed roughly aside. He glowered at Hanse briefly, then smiled up to Hitsu as he straightened out some, "Good afternoon to you and your family." He peered around, his mind slightly clouded with the feeling of seeing more than one creature or human occupying the same spot at the same time, and as such, he was having trouble discerning what was what.

Hanse pushed his way inside, brushing up against Skye during his dashing attempt at being debonair, moving him out of his way. He only raised a brow at the look he was given, then turned his attention to Hitsuzen briefly, before noticing the others in the house. His eye twitched lightly at the size of the crowd, but he tried to push that feeling aside. "It is good to finally meat everyone."

Phibrizzo just stood by and watched as the two men entered and 'fought' for Hitsu's attention. He guessed one really couldn't call it fighting per say....it was much more pitiful then that. But no doubt these two were the two potentiality fathers. Intrigued, Phibrizzo simply shut the door and stood back to listen.
When the man greeted Hitsu and her family Mitsu only looked around shortly to realize they were the only ones there. A little lost for words Mitsu dipped her head slightly. "Pleased to meet you."
Neko remained silent resting a hand on Mitsu's shoulder. Something about the second being?....creature? to enter gave him a bit of unease. "So you've heard about us then?"

After a pause, Hitsu's face growing ever redder in the presence of both Skye and Hanse; this was going to be harder than she'd thought minutes before; she finally spoke up again in a bit of a stammer.
"This is Hanse," Hitsu gestured to the dark-haired man, as he was the closest now. "And Skye," she finished, gesturing to Skye afterward.
"Phibrizzo is the one who let you in," Hitsu continued, all the while not really sparing more than a brief and darting glance at those she was addressing. "And these two are Mitsu and Neko."
"Vash and Daphne might still be in the game room..."
"Everyone else..." Hitsu's gaze traveled toward the direction of the stairs; "I think they're all upstairs... I'm not sure where my brother is, though."
When it came to that, she supposed all they had to do was follow the trail of broken furniture, assuming the twins hadn't cleaned it all up by now.

Skye smiled brightly to each person Hitsuzen mentioned, and offered a small piece of welcoming banter. He looked to Neko with his question, "Yes, Hitsuzen has mentioned her friends and family quite often and with great love. It is great to finally meet everyone." He then turned to Hanse as he noticed him clearing his throat.
