Superman's power level is pothetic in comparison to a saiyan's He has. Several times. Superman can breathe in space, and demolish planets with much greater ease. He's beaten villains much stronger than Goku as well, such as Doomsday. You're partially right there. He can't breathe in space. He can hold his breath a ungodly length of time but as he once told Supergirl even they can be drowned since even they have to breath oxygen. And secondly while he has beaten Doomsday you have to remember that Doomsday has also killed Supes. True, but he has beaten him. I didn't remember Supes holding his breath, must be getting rusty in my DC lore. Anyways, it takes a real strategist to be him, which Goku isn't. With all of his powers, Superman is the winner. Yeah but Vegeta is, Turles is, Broly.... no one knows about him since his thought process is never shown... Future Trunks is, gohan needs to die and stay dead. This is Goku vs. Superman, not Vegeta vs. Superman. Don't change the rules.

Hehe... that would be awesome~ Superman's from DC comics not Marvel.... But seriously, any saiyan could beat superman, even Raditz or Nappa.... and Nappa's a complete idiot! She wasn't saying Supe's was from Marvel. She was saying Marvel is better than DC. And as already stated a Sayain has little chance of beating Supe's. His only weaknesses are kryptonite, radiation from red sunlight which strips him of his powers, on magic. Now certian aspects of his powers can be used against him as has been done by Batman and Ra's Al Ghul who got a hold of Batman's secret plans incase the Justice league went rogue. Bats has exploited the super hearing of Supes by hitting him with a crap load of ultrasonics. Ra's used Bat's method of articficial red kryptonite to turn Supe's skin transparent thus rendering the empowering yellow sunlight painful to Superman. No weaknesses besides that compaired to a saiyan's speed he's slow, he has no martial arts skills whatso ever, his energy level is weak in comparison, he's not industructable. all muscle and no real skill besides maybe a plan or two after nearly getting killed, all it takes is a real strategist to deal with him. When is the last time you read a Superman comic ? Invulnerabilty has been on his roster of powers for quite some time. Plus he's been shown to travel faster than light so how is that slower than a Sayain? Oh, I was going by the show not the comics... the comics don't interest me like the show, the only comics I read are manga... the show is a bit different than the comics.

He was refering to the original match up of Goku vs Supes before the rest of the sayians were broguth in. Also you can't go by the shows since they always change aspects of the characters. Just look at Smallville for crying out loud.

He's fighting a Saiyan, it looks like he has no chance, he'll figure out a way to propel that space monkey into an alternate dimension where they have no strength. Batman is amazing.

Yes, yes he could. The only characters that would stand a chance against him would be his own wards since they've trained with him extensively and know his methods. But that being said he also knows theirs. In the recent issues it took all of them to basically subdue him because of this.

Then again Goku just warps were he needs to go I suppose...GOku vs. Superman is more intersting xd Alos neither can breath in space as it has been revealed already that both Kryptonians and Sayains require oxygen to sustain their systems. As for the Aquaman vs Captain Planet useless thing that one I'll have to wait till after Blackest Nights ends and Brightest Day starts to see where DC goes with him now that he's back from the dead.
