Paradoxically, Siona always felt more...confident when their Dark Lord graced them with his acquaintance, better able to handle her powers with carefully tended poise. She took her seat in her proper place to the left of Wrath, as was her right; Siona smiled down at her hands, folded in her lap, awaiting instructions.

Lucifer glared down at his trusted brethren. He was sometimes taken aback by the dedication to his cause. Still though he was the best of them. With a flourish he shrouded his head with the hood of the black robe that now adorned his chosen form. He knew they wouldn't look at him directly. They feared the power he wielded here in his domain. Of course they did. Now though his eyes were hidden in shadow he cleared his throat.
"Out with it then. What news of Purgatory. How does the favored species fare in the light of our efforts. Do they still worship that being blindly or do they sin. Ever fueling the power to bring the underworld to the Earth?" He gazed steadily to his left. Wrath.
Vassili looked at the shadowed face of his leader and nodded his head. So be it, I will begin. Wrath turned to speak to the assembled Fallen.
"My efforts to bring violence to the world is barely working. The people cry for peace. I whispered into that weakling's ear who sat at the head of the Middle country. I whispered terrorism and Weapons. He started a new war, but it has been slow. My machinations in the Ancient kingdom are fruitless. They look to the heavens and to the world of technology. My work in the Middle East fares better. They cry Jihad, but say it is for God. They don't realize it is my hand that guides their Holy War. Other than that my terror activities in the Heartland of the Middle Country is worthwhile. It riles the masses for the death of all criminals. That is all for now. I await your further orders."
Lucifer listened and chuckled at Wrath's insistence to use the old names for the kingdoms and countries. His work was worthless without help. Envy or Lust. Or both. Pride could bring wars on by himself and so could Envy and Lust, but when combined it created oil fires. Relentless and nearly unstoppable.
"Envy what say you. How fare's you work?"

Lilith glanced away from Lucifer's profile, to Envy. She uses old formalities? How...quaint. She did not much like any of the sins. The Queen of the Damned understood why they were required, she just didn't like them; Lilith found them...coarse. But wait, the little b***h, Envy was still speaking.
"...Two-faced. Their every actions reek of double-standards. It takes barely a breath to ignite the blazes. From Los Angelos to London to Moscow, Comrades are quietly sharpening their knives and eying their friends necks' in preparation. For what though, they don't quite know."
Siona smiled a little bit more comfortably now; good news always made her feel better. Peace is a lie; there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. My lord shall free me.
"In short, my lord, the world is degenerating into sin. Your carefully designed 'altruism' ploy is working marvelously; not even God could turn it back to Himself as an advantage."
Lilith inclined her head and tried to move on past Envy's report quickly, regardless of her husband's opinion.
"Good. And Pride, what say you?"

Pride sighed. He leaned forward, resting his chin on his neatly folded hands, eyes closed and breath slow.
"I watch these fools day after day, whispering the sweet nothings of sin into their ears. My host's homeland of Japan is full of prideful men who see their sin as honor, but I am pulling the strings. They kill themselves, and others, over the honorable titles they hold."
Vanity falls hand in hand. Many take pride in their appearances, and others will kill over it. Though not as potent as the incident with that blonde whore who slept with the prince of Troy, countless lives have been taken and delivered to your lordship's domain."

Lilith smiled; Pride was her personal favorite sin, out of the other seven. 'The tyrant is the son of Pride.' Occasionally, even the mortals have some conscious thoughts.
"Try to keep the mortals alive, for now, but still living in sin. Lucifer has enough souls for his Legions. He, and therefore you, require worshipers to maintain and increase your powers."

Though he was her favorite, Pride secretly despised Lilith. To think, the master of all the underworld would accept the sloppy seconds of a mortal to be his queen. However, Pride was always respectful towards Lilith, never dropping his facade of allegiance.
"Yes, my queen."

Lucifer nearly smacked Lilith. He restrained himself. She may be his chosen, but she would not upset his authority. He turned his gaze to Lust. Which she could induce to anyone here, even his queen. Yet he was immune. He could in fact bend that power back on her, not that she needed it. He chuckled at the though of her panting like a b***h in heat.
"What news of middle kingdom? What news of those who cannot control their carnal desire?"

"Adultery is second nature to mortals. It doesn't take much effort to cause something that already happens without my aid." She studied her hooker red nails. "A few seductive words here and there, then you have sex without marriage or the average business man whose groin hardens at the thought of you." Her eyes slid up to Lucifer. "My job is one of ease my lord." the Cheshire like grin that formed on her mouth melted many hearts. "Especially when the young give themselves up younger and younger every year." Her eyes flickered away from Lucifer, being careful not to look at him for to long, sliding over Lilith before over the other sins. "I believe my work is rather easy compared to the rests." She fell silent, licking her lips.

Eve shot a timid smile over the table at Lust; their chosen domains oft caused them to cross paths in the world, to work together; they crossed paths almost as much as with Wrath. Just as quickly as it came, the smile fled and Envy's gaze dropped to her lap, and the hands clasped there. To her left, Wrath exhaled his special flames from the filter holes in his old styled gas mask. She shuddered as they singed her forearms lightly. Envy considered moving her chair away...but stayed exactly where she was. Lilith, noticing it, just rolled her eyes. What a little pain whore. She did, however, smile comfortingly at Lust.
"You've done well, Lust; keep it up. Make them worse then bitches in heat. All of them."

"My pleasure!" She said, inclining her head, her hair falling into her vivid green eyes. She sat up in her chair, letting her eyes scan over the other sins, licking her pale lips she smiled back at Envy just as her own smile faded.

Lilith smiled widely at Lust, practically purring like a kitten.
"Feel free to...indulge as well. You've earned it."
Lilith pretended not to notice as Envy flushed a delectable red as she saw Lust returning her smile. Siona...and therefore Envy...wasn't much into girls, but if anyone could tempt her, it was Lust; her very gaze dripped sex, promising the very essence of ecstasy. She's a carnal beholder. Privately Envy smiled at her mental quip. Lilith attempted to regain control of their little council meeting again; she stood, signifying the end of the meeting.
"There's no more business to attend to; have fun and keep your master in mind."

Pride loathed the b***h and her sense of self-importance. He remained seated, waiting for his master to either speak or dismiss him and the other sins, as was accustomed.
