After she knocked over a person and ran a little more, Melethia stopped when she thought there was no one following her. She turned around and there wasn't anyone behind her. Good. She felt a little better. She took a few steps and looked around again. Something didn't seem right to her. It was as if she was sure something or someone that was a bad presence was close. She just hope it wasn't someone who wanted to do something with her or just hated her presence.

"You can't blame yourself. Blaming yourself and falling into depression, it won't change anything. You have to look →forward→. Remember what you have here now. Just think; if you hadn't come here, you wouldn't have met anyone here from Elibe or anywhere else!" {Amelia}The commotion was thick and stifling in the marketplace, but just outside of the city limits, at Fefga's manor up on the hill that overlooked the city, Amelia felt quite at peace. Rhys had gone to work, as usual. She reflected as she worked that more and more of the guild members who used to live here at the manor were moving out to live elsewhere, probably due to the place no longer having Fefga's protection.
Feh. Who needs their help? I can handle it. Wearing her usual garb--red collared shirt, white skirt, added onto with a white bandanna over her head to pull her bangs completely clear of her face--Amelia worked at scrubbing one of Rhys' undershirts against a washboard. The tub of hot, soapy water in front of her had just been replaced, so it was still quite clear and full of perfectly white suds as she rubbed up, down, up, down. It was a physical chore, and thus it was suited well to her. Her arms got a work-out and she could let her thoughts wander as she pleased. And it was a satisfying work, seeing things like this get resolved so efficiently.
Her armor lay nearby, of course, with a tub of polish and a clean white rag. Once the laundry was done, she could tend to that. Even if it wasn't going to be used in... Goddess, for at least a couple of years, if she kept it in good condition, then it would be all ready for her to don again once the time came.
"Good thing, too, that Captain Dan understood," she murmured to herself. She lifted Rhys' shirt, studied it, then lowered it again into the water and went back to scrubbing. She could still be on the job for some more months, being so early along, but eventually she'd have to take a pregnancy leave. A police officer waddling after you to make an arrest, one arm over a swollen belly and the other hand holding a spear, did not intimidate anyone. Or get any work done, really.
She tried not to think about that. She whistled quietly to herself, letting herself get lost in the repetitive physical motions of scrubbing the laundry clean while the rest of Eyris erupted in chaotic activity.
Remember to wear condoms, children. {Graceful Spear} "What... I mean is... Being a member of the holy order doesn't mean you can't put your own wants first sometimes. The goddess is supposed to be all‑forgiving, right? You've worked hard and you deserve to do some things that make you happy. I think she'd forgive you for it."

Bashed into a cart of cabbages, Ziaram apologized, saying that he would pay him back once he got his business done, then ran off from the man...yeah he deserved the attack from Joshua, yet being knocked into a cabbage cart...he would find a way to get revenge...yet it seemed it was not needed upon seeing this scene.
Oh so bad Joshua...as Ziaram had managed to catch up, and was on the verge of laughing himself to his grave watching the scene occur between Joshua and Rajin...yet now was not the time to do so. "Well looks like your hands are full Joshua...I'll see ya later."
Turning back to what he was originally doing, he set off to go find Mel, and explain why he had been after her. Shento was someone from Impersus, and he wanted to learn more about how she knew him, and if he said anything that could benefit himself. "I've got no time to dilly dally, as...I've been a bit too distracted."
Once he did get a bit close to Mel, he stood back, hesitating a bit, before saying, "You are Melethia...correct? The one...that slew Shento? Correct me if I am wrong...yet I have been meaning to talk to you."

"I have nothing to say to you." She said. "What happened between me and him will stay between me and him and he's dead. I suggest you leave."

Seeing his mstake he backed up, yet didn't give up. "I'm sorry that this is a bad topic...though Shento is still a hard memory for me as well. I grieve for him...as he came from Impersus...as did I. Please...I just want to know. After that, I will leave, and let you be. This is my only intent."

...Yeah, things were really, really weird here. Meryl heard the sounds of running feet through the streets behind her, and that left her at ease. After all, Verdane was mostly thugs, and unsavory things happened all the time. Her thoughts turned away from the foreign town she was now in, instead turning to what all those noises could be. Shouts for help, proclamations of "Stalker," and... that was a growl. It seemed like things were as dangerous and exciting here as it was anywhere else!
Meryl let out a small, delighted squeal as the realization came to pass, until her attention turned towards a closer shout. Did she hear something about muppets? What was a muppet? The girl turned her confused gaze towards a man in the corner. He looked tired, and he was wearing dark clothes. Was he some sort of homeless man? Meryl really hoped he was. Homeless people were so nice to travelers, sometimes. So, she began to stroll over to the man as he massaged his temples, a slight smile on her face.
"Hey mister, what are these muppet things doing that makes so much noise?" She giggled, putting a bit more weight on the leg that was less covered by her dress. Homeless people might need a little incentive to get them to talk. And she had some of that man's money, too. Maybe he would like money. "Are they monsters, or are they just loud?"
A muppet didn't seem like something that actually existed. It was a silly name. Still, she wanted to humor the man first. If he didn't like her at all, he might not help her!

((Assuming it's Valentine's Day.))
Nephenee sat upon the floor, in the corner, making a random folded, up heart. Valentine's Day. A day where love filled the air with its delightful aroma and the person's love of their life would get flowers, chocolate, jewelry, whatever their heart desired on this day. It was such a wonderful day.
Not for Nephenee, though. She couldn't stand Valentine's Day. Over the years, she would try to be just a little more outgoing to the men, but no one liked her because of her straight-up shyness. The only guy she was most comfortable was around was Brom, who would always give her a lily, growing near his farm. A lily. Wow, what a surprise. They always grow, in fact, they grow everywhere. Why not roses? Maybe multi-colored daisies?
Not this year! Nephenee had a feeling in her gut that she could do much better this year. As she cut the heart out, it looked sloppily cut, going different ends. The design on it wasn't so neat either. She sighed and dropped the heart and scissors on the floor. She then rested her arms on her knees and her head on her arms. Maybe this year won't be so lucky either...

When there is empty void that needs to fulfillWhen there is loneliness that needs companionWhen there is secret crush that needs to confess...⊹⊱⋛♥PSYCHE♥⋚⊰⊹ "NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM!" Psyche munched happily in the Hostess Club. These strange goodies were so delicious. What were they called? Cakes and pastries? Whoever made these must be a genius. Never had she ever tasted sweet treats for centuries.
"I must be in heaven....." The cupid sighed blissfully as tears rolling down her cheeks and holding the fork close to her chest. Maybe when she finished her duty in Eyris, she could bring these delicious munchies to her commander. Sigh..... Imagine his face lit up with happiness as she presented him these goodies. After all, they said that the best way to get to a man's heart was through the stomach. If these mortals said was true, then maybe this was what she needed to get to Commander Eros' heart. Sigh...... Just imagine him made her want to squeal like a high school girl.
Suddenly, she heard a scream. Something about the Hostess Club being haunted. Haunted?! Oh no! She scared of ghosts! Ghosts were scary to her.
"WWWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Psyche wailed in terror as she waved her arms. "I don't want to be haunted!"
The cupid jumped out of her seat and flew quickly out the door, leaving a sudden wind inside the building. There was another disruption from the same customer, shouting that it was the proof that ghosts were haunted the place. Unfortunately, Psyche didn't know that she was the ghost that the customer was screaming about.
Crying in frantic tears and screamed in horror, Psyche zoomed off, unknowing where she was going. As long as she was away from ghosts, that was enough for her.
After few minutes of screaming and crying, the cupid was now sitting on the ground, sobbing her tears away. She was now able to calm herself down. Thank goodness that meanie ghost didn't follow her. She didn't want that horrible spirit following her while she was working. Working? ... OH NO! She had completely forgotten about it!
"AH! I"M LATE!" Psyche shouted as she waved her arms furiously. She couldn't fail on her mission, especially if it was her first mis- Er.... First time in Eyris. Yeah, that's right. Her first time in Eyris.
The cupid looked around desperately to find the couple. Which one to shoot? Which one to shoot? How about the old couple walking together? No, they're already together. How about the boy and girl running and laughing together? No, too young. Or how about-
"OH! I'll never find the cute couple!" Psyche screamed frustrated as she placed her hands on her head. Wasn't there any cute couple around her- Oh, she saw the homeless couple.
One was a young man who had a scar over his eye and wore dark clothing while another was a girl who dressed up what seemed to be a hooker. What a very odd couple they were. Then again, they looked cute together.
"Yay! I've found a couple!" Psyche exclaimed merrily as she took out her bow and arrow. With a pull of the string and letting go, the arrow zing through the air. Dodging the crowd like a heat-seeking missile, the arrow came to its target. It pierced into the heart of the Errant and fertilized its glittery love inside.
"Have a lovey dovey day, Mr. Hobo and Miss Skanky." Psyche chirped and merrily skipped down the lane.
Psyche, Psyche, Psyche.... When will you learn that seeing random people together is not really a couple?⊹⊱⋛♥AMOR♥⋚⊰⊹ Never fear for I am here I shall pierce you with my arrow, both near and far Because under the order of my Goddess, LOVE CONQUERS ALL!

Melethia continued to glare at Ziaram. "I'm sorry that this is a bad topic...though Shento is still a hard memory for me as well. I grieve for him...as he came from Impersus...as did I. Please...I just want to know. After that, I will leave, and let you be. This is my only intent." She really wanted this guy to leave her alone so she can find Roy.
"I said I have nothing to say to you. Leave or you will get an Elfire to the face!" She yelled. She showed him her tome to back up her threat.

Well hey? What was all this about? Love in the air? That was really unusual considering this was actually NOT normal even in Eyris..why had he come again? Oh..right...cause he wanted to see everyone and how they were doing. Granted, Kishuna had been left back in the cabin (Lazy tard). Not like he wanted out anyways....Ah well, what was the difference. The prince liked to get out and he was out, rather then cooped up in bed all day doing who knows what (lets not go into details on that acutally)
Ephraim hadn't been watching where he was going this entire time. Truthfully he had simply just walked past a bunch of...strange..people....Joshua with that laguz? Oh wow, who knew? That was something unexpected considering it WAS Jehanna's king of all people we were talking about..I mean..seriously now...he's a womanizer..you'd expect he'd attract girls but oh baby did he attract a real looker, a male no less.
During his little observation he somehow found his way to walk straight into a little someone he hadn't realized was there till he nearly toppled over the poor soul. "Oh! Geez! Sorry, I really should watch where I was goign" he managed to grab the boy before he fell to the ground. Taking a closer look, Ephraim realized who it was, the red-headed lord they called Roy. Boy, when was the last time he had see him? "Roy?" Ephraim questioned "I haven't seen you in quite some time. How are you doing?"

♥ Super Awesome Ostian Noble Lady ♥
What wonderful things! Lovey dovey atmosphere! Lovely cakes and sweets, and a wonderful array of fuzzy feelings and love and happiness and oh! It was simply wonderful, all of it. ...Granted, she was still in the middle of a crowded marketplace, it did stink a bit of farm animals and body odor, but that was just a part of life! One went with it and rolled with the punches.
It was a great time of year. She'd gotten one or two small flowers- she hadn't the slightest idea of who she'd give them to, because no doubt the others would be jealous if only a few got such a prestigious honor! Oh, she had to make this choice carefully. Very carefully. Someone who was cute as a button, someone with nobility! ...Maybe. The nobles these days were getting awfully selfish and spoiled, for her taste. And those that were really, really cute just... weren't interesting!
Oh, where was her first love, her beloved Erkie? The Erkie who would run from her so wholeheartedly to encourage her into the chase? Oh, he could make her run after him all day, and without complaint. He was so good at being coy, trying to get away from her all the time. He should have been flattered that she put up with him at all!
She just had to proclaim her happiness to the world! This was the most wonderful day of the year!
Standing on a stack of crates and appearing quite tall to the crowd that filed through, Serra took in a deep breath and yelled at the top of her lungs...
"ISN'T THIS HOLIDAY TOTALLY AWESOME?"

He heard Joshua call out his name to help him get the tiger laguz off of him. But nope. He had an awesomeface on as he totally ignored the Jehennian prince's pleas for help.
And then he bumped into someone. The other person held onto him so that neither of them would fall over. Roy recognized him as Ephraim pretty quickly. There was no mistaking that bluish green (teal perhaps?) hair.
"Ephraim?" Roy asked, looking at the man in some surprise. "I've been doing okay. What about you?"
"ISN'T THIS HOLIDAY TOTALLY AWESOME?"
That voice...that loud squeal that was clearly not normal. He recalled Lord Hector mentioning her once, but he never suspected he would find her here of all places. Roy turned to look over at a stack of crates to find a female bishop with bubblegum-colored hair standing on top of them. And...yep, that was Serra.

Arashe was still bored. The people in the upper section of town were far too... boring. They were just powdered wigs, in some cases, with no real personality. He really hated it, too. Maybe he'd go off on an adventure to Estarcia, the land of dignified nobles. Maybe there, he'd find a few of the upper crust that he actually saw some sort of common ground, aside from money.
But, that idea was shoved away, as someone's declaration of a holiday grabbed his attention as it echoed through the streets. That's right, it was a holiday, in some places! What did the Silesians call it... Arashe put a hand to his chin in thought, trying to remember the name. If he couldn't, it would get to him for the rest of the day.
Either way, Arashe was intrigued. The only person he knew of that would shout something to the heavens like that was Melethia. And- He remembered the name! King Levin's Day, that's what it was. After all, the history classes taught him that Levin of Silesia leaned more towards courting the ladies than ruling a kingdom. But everyone loved him, so he got a holiday named after him. ...But yes, he was expecting Melethia, that miserable excuse for a creature, to start burning down buildings. Chances are, she either didn't have anyone for her on this special day, or she got rejected, or maybe she stole some children. He'd heard something about her falling for a teenager, recently, and it was still a revolting thought. So maybe he'd be able to stick to that "promise" he'd given her those months back, because it sure sounded like her behavior hadn't improved!
Arashe laughed to himself before making sure a dagger was on his person, which it was. With wonderfully nefarious intentions in mind, Arashe set off in a run towards the sound of the screech. Too bad for him, it wasn't Mel he was heading towards...

When there is empty void that needs to fulfillWhen there is loneliness that needs companionWhen there is secret crush that needs to confess...⊹⊱⋛♥PSYCHE♥⋚⊰⊹ "Skip to my loom, my darling." The cupid sang merrily as she skipped down the cobbled lane. It was a good thing she was invisible or else the crowd would think that winged-girl had some mental problem. Waving her arms so merrily as she skipped, she continued her search to find the couples.
So far, she did a pretty good job of making couples fall in love, even without the Couple Scroll that she had lost. Oh, if only her commander could see what a splendid job she did. Maybe he could take her out to dinner when this is done.
"Or maybe he can give me flowers and candies and teddy bears and-" Psyche rambled on as she tucked her fist close to her mouth to giggle. Oh what a fabulous day it was for her. Not to mention, no problem for her too.
Yet, where was Fefga? Surely her friend would have sense her coming. After all, she did promise her she would spread the love. Oh.... Where was Fefga? She was missing all the fun.
Suddenly, she heard the tapping of iron. Turning around, the cupid spotted a dame knight riding on the horse. Huh? What an odd person that woman was. Usually, it would be the man who was the knight in shining armor, not the woman. Oh.... She would never find a man if she was the knight. This woman needed her help. But who would fall for her?
Looking around, Psyche tried to find the perfect candidate. She saw the woman and Mr. Grumpy Kitty Man together. That won't do. She saw a strange man with wings. But he had flew off. But there was a red-haired man coming down the street. PERFECT! He would do for the dame knight..
"Okay, Mr. Red Head Man" Psyche shouted as she drew her arrow and pulled the string. "Go help your Miss Knight in Shining Armor"
She let go of the string and watched it flied. It passed the crowd as it zoomed toward the young lord. Closer.... Closer.....
"NO!" Psyche yelled when the teal-haired man came out of nowhere and crashed into the red-haired man. Not only that, but her arrow struck the teal-haired man too. That clumsy man blocked her shot to her target.
"NO! NO! NO! NO! That was not meant for you, Mr. Clumsy Man!" Psyche yelled after she threw in her tantrum. She had to fix this problem right away or else it would become a nightmare. But when the cupid tried to reach her arrow, she accidentally unlatched the buckle and her quiver fell into the cart of milk. The cart of milk continued to move along with her quiver.
"HEY! I NEEDED MY ARROWS!" Psyche shouted at the owner of the milk cart as she chased after it, waving her arms furiously.⊹⊱⋛♥AMOR♥⋚⊰⊹ Never fear for I am here I shall pierce you with my arrow, both near and far Because under the order of my Goddess, LOVE CONQUERS ALL!
