Aella looked over at him and shook her head. "No..I just don't like crowds." she said reaching down to finger the bell on her tail letting it chime softly. "They make me a bit nervous."
she retracted her hand back into the nest she'd made with her wings. "I think they always have...Even when...when..." she trailed off and shook her head then reached up and pushed her hair back from her eyes. "When I was alive...." she whispered.
She hunkered down inside her wings then peeped at him through the break in her feathers.

He leaned back against the rail, leaning over the water tail swishing down and dipping into it. "Let's not talk about being alive. It's depressing. besides dead I'm far more powerful and it's a lot easier to roam without interferance." he looked up at the sky, noting some icoming white clouds. they didn't look like they would bring rain, which was good. Even dead he didn't like the weather's interferance. Mud and water falling through him were just unplesenteries he's rather avoid. Worst then humans.
"And they shouldn't make you neverous. They can't see you anyway."

Aella slowly retracted her wings and flicked them behind her. "Yeah...your right. It is depressing." she moved over to the rail and put one arm over it watching the water swirl around the boat, her other still clutching the book.
"That's not completely true." she said. "I think some of them can see us...not many...but if nothing else they're aware of us." she said. She flicked her wings spreading them wide to allow a living passenger to walk past her without walking through her wings. "And its uncomfortable to be walked through..." she added. "Just..." she shuddered. "Just ugh..."

"If they are aware of us, they should walk around us and not through us. that one didn't even deviate it's path. They are so stupid!" he growls in annoyance. "i've nere seen one that can talk to us."

Aella glanced over at him. "You don't have to get so mad. Its not their fault. And I only said some of them can sense us or see us. Not all of them. I think they have to be special, but I'm not really sure how..." she rested her head on the rail as she thought. There was an old memory trying to surface in the back of her mind but it was far away and very distant.
She sighed when it wouldn't come right to mind, and instead flicked her wings allowing her to hover and sit on the railing. "Its a pretty evening." she said looking up watching the setting sun tinge the sky pink and orange.

Romeo noded. "It's a good night for romance." He gazesd at the sky, relizing the sun had started to set. He wondered where the day had gone. Not that it mattered, ghostlings did not need sleep in the same way humans did, and he was used to staying up all night. He cast his eyes down at the water, and smiled a bit.
"A very good night for romance." He straitened and walked over to one of the humans who had come on bored with a lover. H smiles and snuck one of th roses out of the banquiet. She would only have 11 roses, but he had one. He walked back and handed it to Aella.

Aella squeaked a bit as he mentioned romance. Her wings flicking around her to hide her again. She slowly peeked out and nodded. "Y-yes. I suppose so, its been such a long time since I--" she trailed off as she watched him deftly sneak the rose out of the bouquet.
Her eyes widened, her hand reaching out trembling slightly as she took the rose. "Thank...thank you." she said her entire body now a deep pink with her blush. She held it up gently to her face and marveled at the softness of the petals.

Remeo chuckled at her blush, turning her a deeper pin then she already was. This was a skitish one. Easy to minipulate. His manly charms almost too much for her. He watches as she enjoyed the rose.
"It's the best I could come up with under the cercumstances." he nodded a little at her.

Aella shook her head. "No, its wonderful~" she said with a smile. She then carefully opened her book and slipped the steam inside to keep it safe. "That's the most sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me~"
She glanced around then quickly leaned down and pecked his cheek. "That's for you." she smiled.

he chuckles. "The sweetest? for that I humbly apoligize. I will have to go beyond that to give you a proper sweetest present." he couldn't help himself. That was nothing compared to the other 'romantic' things he has done in the pass. He knew how to get to a lady, and for him it was quiet fun. But this one seemed a bit diffrent, more inocent then the average. He liked it.

"Oh you don't have to." she said. She smiled at him and curled her tail around her feet, hugging her book to her chest again. "I bet you've know lots of girls...with your dashing good looks, and well everything..." she sighed and looked back at him. "I have to admit I've never know a lot of guys before..."
She fidgeted slightly and looked back over her shoulder watching the sun finally slip beyond the horizon. "And here come the stars~" she said dreamily.

"They are?" she looked up and thought for a moment. "You mean in the way that we're all transient beings, here but not caught between two planes of existence?" she blinked then looked at him. "Or am I reading to much into it? I do that sometimes."
She blushed again and looked at the deck. "Anyway..." she muttered.

"I was thinking invisible during the day light, but shining with our own light in the night. But I gusse that works too." he made sure to keep the annoyance out of his tone, covering it was a casual lean back against the side of the ship.

"Oh...that works too." Aella smiled over at him. "You make it sound more romantic." she smiled then turned towards the bow of the ship. "We're almost there." she said. "Told you it was a quiet easy trip."
She spread her wings and alighted to the deck making sure to hug her book and rose to her chest. "Just a little further to my home."
